[Q] Poor data/signal after repairing charing port. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Okay, so last night I successfully replaced the charging port on my Note 2. It wasn't malfunctioning, it was just extremely loose and was hard to keep a charging cable in.
Before putting the device back together I made sure the antenna cable and all other cables were plugged in and snug.
Since the repair , my device seems to be getting horrid data. Normally I would get LTE speeds of 20mbps+ up and about 10 down, now I'm getting 5mbps down and about .05mbps up....
The signal in the status bar goes from LTE to 3g and DC (cyanogen mod, not sure what that means).
The first night I didn't notice any problems as I was at home and connected to my home WiFi network. But when I woke up the signal was awful. I can make calls and text sometimes, in some area the signal bar has an X over and has no signal at all.
Has anyone experienced this or have an idea of what might be wrong?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!!
P.s. the replacement part was specifically for my device, t889.

Okay, so this morning I downloaded and flashed the most recent modem for my phone and the signal strength seems stable, LTE download speeds are around 25 to 30mbps and my signal isnt constantly switching around. However the upload speeds are still around .01 - .05 mbps which is nothing compared to my old speeds of around 5mpbs - 7mbps.
I honestly have no idea how the hardware interacts in the phone, but would the charging port that I replaced possibly be faulty? I know the antenna cable plugs into it, and it has me thinking there is some part on it that is malfunctioning. But all this is just a guess.
I'd really appreciate any feedback.
Thank you.

[Q] [HELP] Erratic Signal Strength

EVO Brethren,
My signal will bounce from 4 bars to NONE and back to 2 then 4. Apparently it does so during calls too because I can't talk more than a few minutes before it'll drop. At work it'll bounce from 2 to NONE all day which just drains my battery like mad.
I'm using the latest radio and have tried reflashing it. I'm pretty sure this has always happened even on the older radio. Is Sprint service really this terrible or is there something I can do to fix this?
I can't help you with your problem, other than to say that it won't happen when you are within good service coverage.
I have the same hyperactive signal bar inside my home where I get terrible service (3 bars max when the moon is just right). The signal with jump to full bars and then drop to one or zero.
I would assume that it's the radio trying to boost your signal by cranking up the power. It probably works for a second before the phone realizes that to maintain more than 3 bars of service, the radio would require a nuclear reactor to power it, and therefore promptly lowers the power to the radio.
I have no idea, thats just my guess. When I'm in great coverage it has no problem holding bars, bad coverage - crazy dancing routine.

[Q] MHL cable = 3G signal loss?

Hey all,
A friend and I both got SGS3's within the last couple of weeks - mine's VZW, theirs is Sprint, both 100% unrooted, bone-dry-stock (for now). I noticed some really strange behavior, and I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience or thoughts on what might be going on.
Anyway, when the MHL cable is plugged into my phone, everything works as expected, however, plug it into my friend's Sprint device, and the video output works, but within moments the data connection drops and then the signal is lost altogether.
I'm not sure what the deal is, at all, and probably wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it, and test it several times myself. My best guess is that because the 3G signal wasn't super strong in the first place, induction in the MHL cable caused enough interference to drop the signal all together (though going from 3 or 4 bars to X, may suggest otherwise). I may try wrapping the cable through a ferrite core or something to see if that helps out... but that's kinda a shot in the dark.
I spent a few minutes searching around, but I'm wondering if anyone has any additional thoughts or experience with this kinda thing.
Happens on 2x Sprint GSIII's that I've owned. Now Im not sure if it's a hardware issue or not.

[Q] Signal strength is poor or none

Hi guys. I've got a problem with signal on my phone after I've opened it to change charger port(wasnt working so I bought one on ebay).
As I remember I didnt touch much but it seems that I did, because I've tried to flash new radios and then entire factory image.
Do you have any Ideas what I did wrong and how to check what kind of problem is that? I mean the signal is always there but at -113 dmb for hspa and -85 for gsm. I can access network only when near base station.
IDK but you can try flash a new baseband, as basebands control the signal strength in a phone
the cable for the radio is unplugged or damaged.

you mean that long black cable on the right side(on a picture). It could be damaged, yeah, because sometimes few bars appear and then again nothing. But I don't understand why it shows signal strength -75dmb (and as I read on wiki it is normal value), but bars are not appearing

Antenna issue ?

So it seems if i pry up on the removable module i get good signal in the house if i pry it back a hair i lose it. Is there an antenna in the module?
Rite now. I grab by the module only and hold over my head. Signal stays great. If ihold it by module and hold it screen up seems to lose
Finally solved my issue. Im for some reason not connecting to the nearest towers. My tower. Is to far away to get good lte. Changed up unlock instrucs switched to gsm umts. Now im on 3g. Strong good signal in the house. Earlier i thought it was a dormancy issue. Kinda is. Device doesnt know if it wants lte or not. So it kept dropping. I watched to sigs. And they are average to most of my sprint devices at 100 to 115. Now on hspaĆ· im getting 85 to 100 with no drops. Unless lte antenna is in the charging module and is messed up. Ive had good strong no dropped sig for 30 min or so versus the 1 or 2 min i could get it to hold before on lte. Band 5

Poor wifi signal on n5100

So I was getting great wifi signal all 50ft away,
Until I replaced my battery by myself, it was a easy process, it took me 10mins and I was done.
I booted up my tablet and I put it to charge and when I started to use it I saw my wifi signal was very poor,
Like I'm 7ft away from the router and I'm getting 2-3 bars and when I'm in my room, about 22ft away from the router, where i used to get 2-4 bars I'm now getting 0-2 bars. Even right now I'm like 10ft away from the router and I'm getting 0-2 bars and it's pissing me off so bad.
And where is the wifi antenna located on the n5100 because the internet is no help.
I'm running CM13 rom but I never had any internet problems before.
Help me and thanks.
I would try performing a hard factory reset on your device and see if that helps.
