I was just wondering if there was any way to disable the nagging that the pedometer does. Every so often, it tells me that it's been shut off for a while, and asks me to turn it on. I do not want to uninstall s-health, because I do use the pulse sensor from time to time.

Hello.
When i have my smart stay enabled, and when i, for example, leave my phone on table beside me, not looking at it at all, screen is not turning off.. I have my screen timeout set to 30 seconds, and it is not turning off when i have smart stay enabled... Sometimes it turns off,and sometimes not.. I really like smart stay, and i dont want to turn it off, but im irritated because sometimes i just forget to push power button to turn screen off, and it stays on...
Any one got same problem or solution for this ?
You need to turn it off manually sometimes. Smart stay works so well that it will stay on in my truck at the lock screen even with sunglasses on. Small nuisance for how well it works when there is enough light. Doesn't bother me at all.

when i look at the watch its on for like 2 seconds then dims and turns off..
is there any way to keep the watch on for longer without being on all the time?
i cant find any settings for screen timeout
As far as I know, you can turn ambient mode on where the watch face does not turn off but I have not seen a way (unrooted) that would allow you to change the timeout time. I could be wrong however.
Some 3rd party faces have this option. Not in wear itself yet.
All Watchfaces from Smartwatch Bureaux have a setting for defaut, 15s, 30s,......
My LG G5 recently stopped automatically turning the screen off despite the time settings. I first noticed the phone would warm up in my pocket, so I investigated further. Even though I attempted to work-around the issue by disabling lockscreen notifications, the screen will turn itself on whenever I get a notification then never turns off (doesn't even dim itself). First of all, I do not want my screen turning on for notifications, but additionally, I want the screen to timeout on its own. Any suggestions?
My phone keeps waking up, not to the ambient display but to the OG lock screen, it happens within 10 to 20 seconds after turning the screen off, and keeps happening over and over again. I guess it must be a third party app because it doesn't happen in safe mode, so my question is, is there an app I can use to determine the culprit? I don't see any option to disable third-party apps, only uninstall them, which is highly inconvenient, to keep uninstalling apps to see if they are keeping the phone awake, then having to reinstall them if they don't seem to be the culprit.
Is anybody else having this problem?
I got lucky on a Google search and learned that it was the Ring app! Apparently there's been a little bug where it turns the screen on even when it's not supposed to give you a notification.
Is anyone else experiencing their camera app no longer functioning? I can't open the app without it closing immediately. I'm on stock ROM and first started to experience this last night out of the blue while using cR Droid. I haven't done anything to cause this type of behavior, so I'm not sure if the latest version is just buggy. I've tried uninstalling updates and reinstalling but I still have the same problem.

it just closes? or shows a blank screen? (you checked camera access is enabled in QS).
Go to play store and hit uninstall on the camera (it'll revert the camera back to the default version the phone came with).
Also try the camera in another app (it doesn't use gcam but the camera api). Also try gcam in safe mode..
Ok, so I figured out what the issue was. I had forgotten I had the quick tile "sensors off" enabled for the entire system, which was causing the app to dismiss itself upon opening.
It didn't appear to ever "crash" because it started out OK for half a second, then it would close. I tried 3rd party apps and the camera wouldn't work either.
I have sensors disabled because my phone's screen is constantly turning itself on when I'm in my car due to movement (which is about 8 hrs of my day), which causes it to hardly ever enter deep sleep or doze because it's constantly waking up, which increases battery drain. I don't have lift to wake, only tap to check my screen for notifications.
If anyone knows of a better way to help my display from turning on due to slight movements I'd appreciate it. I tried using "Naptime" app but that didn't seem to disable motion from turning my screen on. It did at first but idk why it stopped working.
Sorry for the post!

Tasker/Automate script to detect when you're connected to your car's particular Bluetooth (assuming it has that), and when so, turn sensors off, and when not connected to your car's Bluetooth, then turn sensors on.

there is an adb command to do this
Code:
adb shell settings put secure doze_quick_pickup_gesture 0
