I'm curious if anyone has found a go-to charger which easily handles both their phone and the Moto 360 at the same time. I'd like to get one Qi charger big enough to handle them both by my bedside. Thanks.

Hello.
Try this http://goo.gl/UQ98b9 <-link to eBay. Its Nokia DT 901 wireless charger ( Fatboy)
Also http://goo.gl/R5FNjz
I have one of these Panasonic ones. The coil moves to find the devices on it. Will charge the phone, then the watch. It is a bit noisy though.

That looks like an unbranded powerbot. I will go ahead and add to this thread, I got a powerbot and it charges both of my devices just fine (thought not at the same time, obviously). Even the Moto 360 w/the stainless aftermarket band charges on it just fine.

That one is made by powerqi, one of the top brands for QI product, but there are many fakes on ebay, the photo's look real, but I'm not too sure if you will get the authentic one's, as the price looks too cheap.
If you want to charge two units at once, the Panasonic can charge one at a time, also there is a DoCoMo one made by sanyo, similar to the panasonic as posted in the third post.
for dual charging look for energizer, Zen, yijieneng and I think there is another one, not to sure the name I have to look for it.
My wife bought one for me. it works very well. Here I post some pics for you. If u are interested in it, Please search the item id 141606356567 on ebay for more detailed information.

Too noisy for side of bed at night. But fine for anywhere else. I keep mine in the kitchen and just throw my phone on it whenever I walk in the house.

I bought 2 similar to this. Doesn't work with my s6 and kinda works with the 360. Only brings the 360 to about 80% then overheats it and it turns off charging. I had to get a refund from the seller.
I bought this QiFull and have been using it for the last week. It charges just as fast as the 360's charger and all the way to 100%. It charges off the 7000 mah battery making it portable. You can also charge your phone at the same time by USB cord. For $15.99 and prime shipping it's a good deal and works well.

My choetech wireless charger works fine with Nexus 7 tablet, but would only charge moto360 to about 75% (and makes the watch hotter than the stock charger)

I use my Xoom in Russia and the only official options open to me are the dock and bundled charger. Both have to be used with an annoying transformer thats a ***** to carry (dear god i with it was chargeable through usb).
What i need is an alternative charger with a euro plug. What will work? Perhaps a moto charger from another device?
The Xoom charger is 100-240 V and 50-60 Hz rated (i.e. "worldwide"), at least the one shipped with the Xooms in the US. So, just grab a cheap two-prong adaptor and lose the transformer.
For those in Australia I bought the following from **** Smiths electronics: dse.com.au
M 9915 Regulated AC Adaptor 12Vdc 1.5A output ; AUD$26.98
All the tips are too large. Damn.
yeah, thats what we really need to know - are there other moto phones or devices with this kind of tip?
With that fold-up housing of the travel charger it looks like it might be designed in a similar way to the blackberry chargers etc. which just let you slip in an alternate "plug" over the top of the US plugs...
Does anyone have one of these chargers can could you confirm that is the case?

You will never charge the xoom tru USB, forget that route. You have to use the "charging" port... so your options are pretty easy.. either stock charger, or find a 12v adapter with a matching plug.
for the other question 1200 or 1800mah, the only difference is that 1200 will take a little bit longer to charge, if there is a 2000mah it'll be much better.
Just to compare, the iPad 1 and 2 uses 2000mah charger...
EDIT: the charger from the amazon link is a 1200mAh so anything from 1200mah and up should work.
EDIT2: after realizing I typed maH and yes, maH is for batteries my bad so to make it clear, i was refering to ma not mAh.
Why would chargers be rated in mah? That is typically a battery rating isn't it?
Anyway, I think the stock Motorola charger is rated at 1500 miliamps.

Nice find- I have several universal adaptors but none of the tips are small enough to fit the Xoom. I'm assuming the one that works is the tiny yellow one?
Has anybody found an USB to stock Xoom charger? Sucks already that it doesn't charge via microUSB, but the thin charger is bothersome.

mAh is just the Amount of current delivered the a power source over a given time. Doesn't matter if its battery or outlet.

I am looking at the photos on eBay and it looks like the red is the smallest one.
I already tried the tip from my Nokia and a Sony charger. It's already small and the diameter is right but it couldn't get it in.

This is the one I bought a few months ago, no problems ... yet
This is the one that I have been using for over a year around the world (I travel frequently for work), and have never had an issue.
Can actually support 4 simultaneous devices, and I've tested it at one point with a Galaxy S4, iPhone 5, Galaxy Note 10.1, and iPad all plugged in at once and charged all of them at the same time.
It's got dedicated ports for a ipad, samsung tablet (presumably a little more juice on these two ports), and two "universal" ports that work for most phones (I current use it with my Galaxy Tab2 and Nexus 5) so you should have no issues with both Nexuses.
Also, the size isn't too bad at all, so very portable. The only complaint -- if you can call it that -- is that the blue led is super bright. Nothing that can't be fixed with a piece of black electrical tape

I tried charging my N5 with my LG G Pad charger and the phone got really warm. Is this OK? That was at 1.7A...
I got the Limefuel dual port 4.8A/24W dual port charger and it's hooked up to two Qi chargers to charge 2 Nexus 5's and I can say these Qi chargers have never charged this quickly before. One Qi charger is the 3-coil type (which is already awesome) and even charging while using the phone it charges mad fast.
I also got the Anker 5-port 8A/40W charger which I am still testing.

I second that recommendation. I have 2 Limefuel L48WC chargers. Both ports output full amperage to my Nexus family of devices. The flip prongs help with travel. As with many chargers, it has a light, but could easily be muted by a strip of tape.

I have been playing around with my Moto 360 for the past few days and the one issue I have is the battery life. Here is my solution which has given me extended use throughout the day... USB OTG on my Samsung Note 2
I tested this today and was pleasantly surprised with the results so I wanted to share this with the community. I assume this should work with most devices that have USB OTG capability but results may vary. Please post your results if you are able to charge your Moto 360 from your phone using USB OTG.
Now, on to the details & photos.....
Items required:
Moto 360
Moto 360 Charging Dock
Note 2 (or other USB OTG device)
USB OTG Cable
Standard USB to Micro USB Cable
How-To:
Connect Moto 360 Charging Dock to phone using the USB cables and set your Moto 360 in the Dock
***NOTE*** This will drain the battery on your phone. I usually carry a couple charged phone batteries as backup; they can be found online for a reasonable price.
Nice I hadn't thought of that!
I'm tempted to get one of these qi-enabled battery packs:

Does it not defeat the purpose? If you have a dead phone, whats a 360 gonna do? I know you are relying on a spare battery, but most modern phones have an internal ONE. YMMV.

My phone wasn't dead after but I didn't give the watch a full charge either, just a nice boost while I was out. I know many of the modern phones have internal batteries and this may not apply if your phone's power is limited.
I specifically didn't buy a phone with an internal battery. I would rather be able to pick up a couple spare batteries online for $25 than have a useless phone after the battery wears out.
But, like I said in the first post... results may vary
the Qi stone+ looks great but its freaking $80!!!! and only 4,000 mah?? forget that
heres a better solution... get a Qi charging puck for $15 in amazon.. glue it to the back of a 10,000 battery pack that are now like $20... use a $1 6inch USB cable and done... wireless charging OTG for half the price of that stone.
I almost took my Moto 360 back. I couldn't get the battery to last a full day. I solved it and now can go from 5:30am to 10pm and it's still over 40% battery left.
Read this post to learn how I did it.

Like the titles says.
I keep seeing mixed answers from different review sites.
It has wireless charging capability. Which means you will be able to buy an lg circle case and you can wirelessly charge. Or no sung in a few weeks there will be a thousand knock off after market backs with it built in.
It appears likely that most or all models will not have an out of the box back where you can wirelessly charge.

So, does it work like Samsung S5/Note 4 where you need to buy the special back that will give you wireless charging? Does it have special connectors built in under the removable back?

Yep. I'm currently doing that with my S3. Though, instead of buying a whole separate back, I'm using a wireless receiver, like the one below:

Considering you can buy the circle cases for the G4, I don't see why you can't buy the lil receiver like I have with my S3. I definitely know the S4, S5, and Note 4 for sure had those receivers you could use, but I honestly wasn't aware if the manufacturers of these made them for other devices besides the ones I mentioned.
Ok, now I have to consider this phone. Thanks!
Can't live without wireless charging anymore. Airdock + 3 QI chargers at home + 1 in my office.

No prob. Glad to help.
Haha, I know the feeling. I only even bought the receiver for my S3 since the charging port is all messed up, so this pretty much is buying time before I upgrade later this summer. Not a deal breaker if a phone doesn't have it, BUT it's super convenient and in my case, saves me from having to buy more batteries that'll be useless in less than 3 months.
Speaking of wireless charging, you have any recommendations for battery packs with Qi charging built in? I've seen a few, but I don't know anyone who's actually used one. Just the usual ones you plug into the charging port.

Negative, only the QuickCircle case has QI built in. But Im sure there will be $5 stickers on eBay to connect to any back cover in the near future.

no, but there are workarounds as mentioned already !
Anyone have any insight on a release date?
Removed as misread title
Maybe Oct. 28th, on the official release date of the phone, but your guess is as good as anyone else's.
The stand is pretty dope, and I can't wait to get my hands on it but so far it looks like it's a TBD without any real solid date. I highly doubt it will be here on the 28th but before the holidays is my expectations.
Was thinking of getting this but the price seems very high. I only charge my phone's over night anyway so don't specifically need a fast charger, although it's nice to have. I'll probably just buy a different wireless charger from Amazon

True, from what I know it will be the fastest wireless charger on the market... So much so it comes with two fans

Nope.
OnePlus 8 had wireless charging at 30W and 50W on the OnePlus 9.
I got wireless charger from my OP8 but on pixel it will only do 15W. I got store credit on Google but even after that it will still cost me over 40!
I managed to grab OnePlus charger on Amazon at half price 2 months after release.

Well that's dope! I gotta find me one! But even than it's a twin cell battery which has two independent charging systems. Will the same 30-50w charging apply to the pixel?
By the fastest wireless charger, I was referencing to the Pixel line of wireless charging which will be up to 23w with the new wireless charger.
*Edited because I'm an idiot and replied multiple times

Nope
OnePlus wireless fast charging is proprietary plus pixel hardware does not support this. So using any other wireless charger will limit to 15W
I think any other wireless charger is limited to 12w in the pixels?

That's the point I'm trying to make, I'm aware of what others can do but I'm not excited by them. I'm excited to see what the new "Pixel Wireless Charger" will do! If you've bought into the Pixel line of phones, this release is exciting because going forward the Pixel is going to change the game, if.... It's done right! And yes to your point, wireless charging is one key aspect.
Sadly pixel charging always behind others like OnePlus and Samsung.

Pixel 6 Pro vs S21Ultra
I will not be buying the Pixel Stand 2.
I will be using the original Pixel Stand which will do just fine for me.

Yes, only 12W. I posted a link from the 9 to 5 Google article a few days ago in the charger thread.
Here it is again: https://9to5google.com/2021/10/19/pixel-6-tidbits-plastic-top-wireless-charging/
