Sorry, but no. The radio in the D5303 does not support the bands used by T-Mobile for 3G. You need the D5306 to get full 3G and 4G coverage in the USA for both carriers. However, you should be able to get 3G from AT&T (or an AT&T-based MVNO) on the D5303.
- Bands used by the carriers -
3G on AT&T: 850 up/down, 1900 up/down
3G on T-Mo: 1700 up, 2100 down
4G on AT&T: Bands 2, 4, 5, 17,
4G on T-Mo: Band 4
- Bands supported by the Sony T2 Ultra -
D5303: 3G - 850, 900, 2100; 4G - Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20
D5306: 3G - 850, 900, 1700, 1900, 2100; 4G - Bands 2, 4, 7, 17
For AT&T, as long as your phone has one of the bands, you should be good, as each band is upload/download. For T-Mobile, however, your phone needs both bands (one for upload and one for download).

Possibly. TMobile is 'refarming' their network to support 3G/4G (HSPA+) over 1900. IF you live in an area that has not been 'refarmed' then you will need radios for AWS which are 1700/2100.

I found this information at Samsung USA website, but I think the Canadian variant (M919V) will be the same. The M919 for T-Mobile has those frequencies:
LTE: Bands 700 / 850 / AWS 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 ; HSPA+/UMTS: 850 / AWS 1700 / 1900 / 2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
The T-Mobile phone will work no problem. I've posted the numbers elsewhere and they all match up.
However, Koodo is selling it for $625 outright and the other companies for $700, so the T-Mobile one is not any cheaper. All Canadian versions have an unlocked bootloader.

i am living in canada and roger bell and telus are for me on xperia T2 ultra dual(Bought in india)
if you want LTE i would recommend going for the single sim model

as Rogers' LTE bands are 700, 1700, 2600, and the D5303 LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600, only one of the bands is matching, would it matter?

no it wont matter
LTE will work with single sim phone but try getting D5306 instead of D5303
I just ordered a T2 Ultra D5303 myself for a family member.
As far as LTE support in Rogers/Fido, as long it should work mostly you are connected to a tower which has 2600. If there are towers which only have 700/1700 are available then the phone will drop the lower speed's available supported frequency.
I have a sony xperia t2 ultra d5316 lollipop 5.0.1 and I get Lte on at&t. All you have to do is get a imei number from a at&t lte compatible phone and update it to your at&t account.
I called at&t tech support and gave them a imei number for a samsung galaxy s5 sm-g900a which is a at&t lte phone.
They updated my imei number and I just had to power off my xperia take out the Sim card, put in back in and power it back up.

If I unlock the phone will it be open from my LTE frequency in my country, and the 900Mhz 3g in my country,
or are the phones made for T-Mobile only work with those frequencies no matter if you unlock it or not.

Unlocking it will not add or remove any of the phones frequency or protocol items.
Unlocking merely allows the device to use another sim card from a carrier that it was not branded for.
So if its a TMO branded unit and you unlock it you get all the features that TMO asked HTC to make the unit for them for, but you can use it with your carrier.
I have an unlocked ATT Note 5 (N920A). It has been upgraded via Odin to Android 7.0(QC6). According to the specifications I can find online* for this phone it supports UTMS on the 900MHz band.
I live in an area where my provider (O2 UK) only offers 800MHz ( 4GLTE) and 900Mhz (2G & 3G). However I can only get 2G and 4G LTE with this phone here. My old Note II gets a strong 3G signal with the same SIM. If I try in other locations I can get a 3G service but it appears to be on 2100MHz not 900Mhz.
If I go into Service Mode (*#2263#) on the phone band selection doesn't let me select frequencies only LTE/WDCMA/TDS/GSM in various combinations. Band Disable (WCDMA) only offers 1900, 850 and 2100. I am therefore presuming that 900Mhz WDCMA has been disabled.
I am trying to establish if
a) the N920A doesn't support 3G on 900Mhz only on 850/1900/2100Mhz - despite what the specs seem to say?
b) I have a bad N920A phone?
c) This is an Android 7.0 issue - will rolling back to an earlier version give me 900MHz, or allow me to switch?
d) There is a way to enable 900MHz and I have not yet found it - does someone out there know the secret?
Any advice or help gratefully received.

Ignore the LG site.
It only lists bands which are supported DIRECTLY in that region, not the bands the phone supports via hardware.
Where are you buying the phone from? The seller should list the bands on the phone, but all the bands are printed on the box itself.
The phones also say "GSM only no CDMA" but WCDMA bands even work. I don't know if CDMA or WCDMA are the same thing or not.
Keep in mind ONLY the european version (not the EAW) can be rooted right now.
Here are the bands the EAW version supports:
. GSM: 850.900/1800/1900. WCDMA: 850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100. TD-SDMA: 1900/2000. LTE: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B20/B28/B38/B39/B40/B41

I answered this question earlier in your other post. Remember I own this phone on tmobile.
No one uses band 66 or 71 from what i've seen anywhere.
Tmobile uses band 4, 2 in some areas, or 12. At least from what I've seen.
You're overanalyzing things now.
I've tested the bands in the service menu.
Why don't you call t-mobile and ask them if they use a strange band like 66 in your area? I've never heard of that before.

Does the LMG710EAW really support both bands 7 and 20? My research turned up that it supported band 7 (2600mhz) but not band 20 (800 mhz) or is this just due to them only listings bands from that region?
I ordered one without maybe doing my due diligence and Vodafone UK for 4G is bands 7 and 20
I have both LMG710EAW and LMG710ULM in hands, LMG710EAW doesn't seem to support B20, as in the parking area I get 4G on ULM but not with EAW.
But it's strange as today I had a look on the original packing of ULM, it's written with B20 support???
Also from LG site, FDD 4G Networks, without B20: 2100(B1) / 1800(B3) / 850(B5) / 2600(B7) / 900(B8) / 700(B28) MHz
