[Q] Camera Failed

why my camera sometimes can't be used and there is a notification "Camera Failed".?
please help me...

I had this issue too..just reboot your phone and everything will works normaly again..

i hv this issue alsi when i'm using lower class memory card. now using class 10 16gb card with bionic rom without this camera failed problem.

Try to flash a new Camera.apk to you phone. Hopefully that is only software problem.

how to flash a new Camera.apk ?
I really don't know.

I had the same problem and I solved it by uninstalling oovoo....it's only a case???

do u have cwm on ur phone? reboot ur phone into recovery then choose advance and choose fix permission, wait until finish, then reboot ur phone after it finish

Unfortunately I have the same problem. My camera does not work anymore. I just receive the message "Camera failed". I still have the stock rom installed and I did not modify too much (I just installed some apps). I have already reset the phone to factory settings which did not solve my problem. Does anybody have an idea what I could try to fix the problem?

I just have formatted my device and flashed it with a stock rom. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem with the camera. I still got the error message "camera failed" when I click on the camera app. Any ideas? Is it a hardware problem? Should I flash a custom rom?

I got that message once, and I panicked. Fortunately, rebooting did it just fine.
Perhaps there is something wrong with the firmware...I searched the net and found this article, maybe useful, IDK.

Thanks for the reply and for the link. Unfortunately I do not understand step 3. When I scroll to "Camera" I do not see a 2nd option which should be named as "user". I just see "camera" and "camcorder". What should I do? Do I have to root the phone?

ok, I have rooted my phone and I have tried the fix described in the link above again. However, I was not successfull. I do not get these options described in the link ("user"). Maybe I am using a wrong version of Pro Launcher. I just downloaded the new version from market...Anyone with a suggestion/idea?

Camera failed
I used to face this problem quite a lot when i was using the stock rom, but after flashing to cow's rom, the problem went away, no more camera failed anymore

Yesterday after upgrade to baseband v. i8150dxlc1 Kernel [email protected]#3 (KIES UPGRADE) i dont have that problem anymore

Whenever I try to phone somebody the Android phone force closes and I cant phone anybody. Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks

First of all you'll have to Re-flash the ROM you are using using the famous flashtool and download a FW just search for them on The inthernet.

[Q] Phone Reboot

Hi everyone,
I seem to be having a problem with my One X, for the past hour the phone has been rebooting at random moments and its really p*issing me off!!
Its running stock ICS and all of the apps are installed from the play store so i don't think i have anything on it which is messing with it.
Is there anything i can do to stop this or do i need to wait for the Jellybean update and hope it will fix it?
I also heard that it might have something to do with my HBOOT which is 1.12 and i am waiting for 3 to update it!

Try to do a factory reset from bootloader first back up all ur data as factor reset vll erase everything
If the prob still exist take it to nearest HTC care centre

I fixed it by flashing the boot.img again, but this time i used it from coredroidroms

download the boot.img
flash it.. and it worked for me!!

I found that in xda forums. It seems that coulb be come from battery issues, try to completly discharge the battery then make a complete charge... Hope I'll helped...

why would he want to flash a boot.img ? he is on stock rom.thats just going to bork his phone

That is just one more solution to help him, it's not mine but like I said I found that in another post... in last case if nothing works why not? Maybe this solution really worked for this man. Just wanna help that's why I quoted the text

[Q] Problems when calling after conversion from F180L to E975

I recently bought an Optimus G (Korean Model F180L) and followed this guide : (symbianize) /showthread.php?t=1103182 * to convert it to the E975.
I used the NEU/EUROPE OPEN kdz file, and everything is working perfectly, except ONE thing; when I try to call someone, there is no ringing sound. Then when they answer, I can't hear them.
Is this a software fault? I really don't know much about this type of stuff, what should my next course of action be? Any advice would be gratefully received!

Are you sure that your variant is f180L? and you flash correct baseband successfully?

Yep, definitely F180L. And I'm pretty sure the baseband flashed properly. I have signal with my network, and can make and connect calls. They can hear me speaking too, but I can only hear them if they're on loudspeaker :S

Sorry to repost, but I really need some help! Does anyone have any suggestions of things I could try at all?
Is it likely that the firmware would cause this problem? Or is it probably a hardware issue?
If anyone has any idea pleeeeeeease let me know

Aaaaah! I tried to flash a CyanogenMod rom using a guide on True Android, and got to the part where I had to flash ClockworkMod Recovery. Having installed it, the phone no longer starts up! It just keeps saying 'Secure booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify'
I googled that phrase and came up with some other people having similar problems, but there seems to be a million different proposed solutions and I haven't a clue where to start.
I had no idea this would be so difficult!

Terry try another one, stock based, savvy rom v4 or 5x ,
Put rom in ur internal memory, goto recovery,do a full wipe, flash rom , reboot.

Thank you for your help, but I can't do what you suggested. It's permanently stuck on the 'Secure booting Error' screen, even when I pressed the volume + power buttons to try a hard reset, the same problem occurs.

So think about kdz again

Ok, so I managed to get CM 11 working. The problem persists, so I'm assuming the ear speaker is faulty.

Do you mean what's wrong with it?
There's no sound through the ear speaker when calling people. The only way to hear what they say is with headphones or loudspeaker.

no i mean your ear speaker is working fine before flashing,and right after flashing new firmware it stop working so i think its not about hardware failure.

I have a problem. I searched solution in google and on this forum but i can't find working solution. So I flashed this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m/development/rom-resurrection-remix2013266094-t3217455
and when I wanted to call to someone pop-up is showing this text "Unfortunately, Phone has stopped". I had same problem with Cyanogenmod 12 and 12.1. This is so annoying that i can't repair it alone. I hope for fast help.

did you clean install before install any custom rom? like cyanogenmod or RR? try to wiped system , data , cache and internal storage. and try to install that with no any gapps package is installed. if problem is fixed may be problem is from your gapps package, but if problem still exist i want to ask something. are you dual sim device or single sim device?
EDIT : and remember. before install cm 12 and up you need base rom android 4.3 or 15.4.A.1.9 to running this custom rom properly or same with dual sim device

I'm Single sim. I did full wipe before installing it. I tried also without gapps. So now i got another problem. Because my USB port in phone doesn't work. So i can't flash stock rom :/ Zipaligned stock rom will work?

i don't know, but flash ftf stock firmware is required for back it stock .
hmmm may be you need to ask another member here, try to contact @Bonoboo or send pm to him. i think he can solved it

Again, I'm not developer to resolve problems in ROM's.

At least try to get logcat to know what's wrong.
Install app Logcat Extreme
Launch and give root
Press 4th button and tap Confirm
Minimize app and produce crash
Return to app
Press button with floppy disc
Select Save current log
Upload file from folder /sdcard/LogcatX
Also you can back to stock without PC: use backup
This really can be solution. Maybe radio stuck in bad state due custom ROM's.

Now I got all what I need to be happy Now I will try back to stock with thread you posted and I will write if everything will be ok. BIG THANKS to you

Reverting to stock was suggested as fix for custom ROM's.
So maybe try them too. Curious about result.

So maybe you recommend any rom? Now i got another problem! The Volume +/- buttons doesn't work :/
