[Q] Clicking rear housing on Nexus LTE

I have searched around but have not found a fix. My nexus LTE clicks (a physical click) when I push the bottom left corner where the body meets the screen glass together and a click is able to be felt. I tried to remedy it by tightening the screws on the rear housing but it made hardly any difference. does anyone else notice this on their phones? any suggestions on fixing it? it drives me nuts!
I noticed mine doing it as well. Do you have a extended battery? I have the one from verizon but I doubt it's the cause.

Mine makes clicking and creaking noises, but the cause of mine are the back cover.
I used double sided tape to stick it in place and that stopped the clicking, as I can't be bothered to buy another back cover.
Take off the back cover and see if it still does it?
its not the battery cover. its actually the silver body where it meets the main lcd/glass body. i do have an extended battery but i dont thinks that's the issue. it'd be a little difficult to fit tape in the gap.
Yep i know exactly whar ur talkin about drives me freakin nuts... no extended battery here.

[Q] does the magnet on the casing affect note 2 ?

i was trouble by this when i got my new casing for note 2 , at some point i cannot draw on the middle part on the right side with the S pen.
at first i thought the casing was too tight hence result "presure" on the phone so that i cannot draw on it ( i can draw on it using my finger), so i removed the case and everything is back to normal.
untill just now i finally realised it wasn't the casing , it was the magnet on the casing ( when i draw, i flip the cover to the back ). when the magnet get too close behind the screen, the S pen won't work on that area.
so here is my question. is it okay for the magnet to be so close to the phone , and will it affect the hard ware ( either S pen or the sensor in the screen ) ?
many thanks .
I have exactly the same experience. ...so now my phone is without a case. ..
Saving up to get the SGP case soon

Attached is my test...
The red big circles is where it is affecting my phone using the magnetic wallet case.

I had a case on for one day with a magnet clip on the right side of the screen and I noticed that the s-pen didn't work properly around that area. I can write there but hovering doesn't work too good.
I removed the case and it's been off for maybe less than 20 hours... But I still experience the problem and it also seems that when I'm using the GPS it can't fix on my location. It just jumps around on the map closely to where I'm located. Tried the same thing on my Note 1 and it found my location with no problem.
I think somehow the magnet from the case has affected something internally. I hope this is not permanent...

Ans: It obviously does.
Hello alls! Any Note 2 owners here have the Flygrip installed? Curious if there's any magnetic parts in the grip which could distort the compass. Thanks for reading!
Hm... Now I'm not sure the Note 2 behaved like it did because of the magnet.. I've tried several Note 2's in store and hovering on the screen around the sides only work if you have the S-Pen real close to the screen. The GPS works fine now, I think perhaps it was some settings I played around with with how to find my location.
I think so
The s pen's sensor in ur note 2 is some kind of magnetic sensor.

I think it affects the s pen input, I have a mercury case with a magnet which is used to close the case, and now when I'm writing or drawing with the S pen, the input goes haywire at that area so sad seems permanent...

Do you mean that even without the case you still have problems?

My Note 2 got bent???

I know this might sound wired but ya the title says it all!!!
I woke up in the morning i felt that the note is slightly bent as in its raised on the left hand side of the phone!!
I have a bad habit of keeping the note 2 next to me while sleeping so i must've rolled on top of it last night!!
Is it possible for it to happen in the first place???
Or may be keeping in my pocket of tight pants and riding the bike can do that to my note 2??
I'm shocked!! Its been hardly 15 days since i bought it!!

well this seems impossible as though the phone make is plastic it cant bent if you have rolled on top as the mattress is soft enough to protect the impact or rather it could have broken due to body pressure and to the contrary i have been carrying the phone in my jeans riding my bike to for the last 3 months and no issues whatsoever.
can you post screen of the bent position
I'm calling shenanigans.

Im taking pic with different cams but that slight bent is not visible in those pics so thats why wasnt responding buddy!! anyways I ll try something in order to show my note
N2 is a big phone, I carry mine in my pocket too, but I try to keep it safe from bending. Its a fact that its easy to bend such a big and long phone but riding a bicycle and bending it is a bit weird, we are waiting for pictures and further posting from you. And if thats true, try to use your warranty and get a new one? You might get lucky!

Is it really bent.... than thats one in a million production. Sounds weird thou...
I've seen videos of product testing for the GN2, and one test involved twisting the phone. It always returned to its original shape, and the twist was quite severe. You'd need a lot of force to bend this phone beyond the yield point and I'm not sure you can reach it by rolling over it on a bed. Check the battery, if you haven't already, maybe it's defective, bulging out and bending the phone in the process.
I've also carried my phone in different pockets on my bike since I got it, 1-2 months after it came out. I even fell on it once when my front wheel slipped on a patch of ice. There is a slight ripple in the glass now, only noticeable at a sharp angle, but I don't know if it's from my fall or just a manufacturing issue. Either way, I'm quite impressed with the phone's durability. If falling ass-first on it on the hard icy pavement didn't break it, I'm sure rolling over it in bed wouldn't either. I'd check it thoroughly to be certain that they couldn't blame me for damaging it and send it to warranty.
It doesn't make sense because the front panel which basically made of hardened glass shouldn't bend. If anything any stress beyond its limit will end up breaking it. Anyways, try getting a clear shot otherwise people will have a hard time believing you.

Exactly.
I would think that the only way to bend a glass panel would be to use an extreme amount of heat, like a torch. You would have to heat up the glass until glows red, and then bend the it. I just googled "how to bend glass" and here is a link for anyone interested, http://m.wikihow.com/Bend-Glass
You could possibly flex it, but it should snap right back into its original shape. Besides, the rest of the phone is a fairly flexible plastic.

Dust behind speaker grill

Hey everyone, I keep getting dust behind the speaker grill causing my screen to not come on during calls because of the proximity sensor, I know you cant take the phone apart and blow the dust out with air but it keeps getting dust behind it. Anyone come up with a way to stop it?
Thanks.
Try using Speaker Cleaner app it actually works good to me. Been using it for a year now myself.

Stuck S Pen NOT inserted backwards!

Anyone else have this problem? All of a sudden the pen goes in and seems to go a little too deep, so I can't push the clicker, and it's stuck.
Turns out my pen was cracked and therefore not going in straight. New pen on the way...
