[Q] F460K won't flash stock kdz - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've tried to tune headphones output gain and at some moment phone stuck at boot.
Since then I can't reach recovery. The best I've got is the "download" mode.
"Ok, fine" – i said – "show me the fireworks!" and tried to flash the brick back to stock with LG Flash Tool 2014 and the downloaded KDZ-file. But recovery process always stops with unknown error at the point of 49%. I've tried restarting it several times.
Trying to boot phone shows updating android first, then screen changes to LG logo and that's all. It stays that state forever.
Any advice would be very appreciated.

still holding a brick... Help! :crying:

OK, I've solved it.

[Q] Please Help, Hard Bricked lg optimus g pro e988

The phone is showing black screen after i flashed exitrecovery.zip file since i got stuck into a recovery bootloop and right after when i pressed reboot button in twrp phone died. Have i got the phone hard bricked?? :crying:
What i have tried so far is pressing various keys combination and nothing is happening, tried to get into download mode but right after putting the usb cable connected with pc into phone it gives a notification sound but doesn't shows anything on phone screen :crying:
I also tried to flash the stock rom with lg flash tool 2014 with kdz file but it reaches to a point in the beginning and it gives an error message that the "phone isnt connected pull out the cable and retry" and after pressing retry few times it gets stuck at 60%
Please help, is there a way to get out of this :crying:
When something similar happened to my Galaxy S4, I charged it to 100% first. Then I tried flashing the stock image back to it twice. The first time did not seem as if it completed. Second time was the charm. I know the phones are different but the symptoms are identical.

Still stuck in LG logo bootloop after using LGUP

Hi, I have an LG G3 VS985 on 47a (according to LGUP) and I recently tried installing an OTA update that I have been putting off for a while. During the update I got an error that froze the updating process so I pulled the battery. After pulling the battery I can not get passed the LG logo in the beginning. The logo will show up, turn black for a few seconds, vibrate, then restart again. I tried downgrading using the TOT and KDZ methods but kept getting a no ks version error or some other type of problem. So then I decided to use the newest 48a KDZ file and LGUP to update/overwrite what I have installed right now. The process starts and the phone shows that the installation is working but when LGUP gets to the point where it has to restart the phone (about 80%), it just keeps bootlooping instead of going on with the installation. I tried clearing cache, factory resetting, and everything else I can think of. I read that the bootloader might be corrupted? If that is the case, how would I go about fixing it? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Another strange thing happens when I plug my phone into a charger from the off state. Instead of showing how much battery is charged, it just shows a loading circle on the battery picture then proceeds to restart into the loop (without me touching the power).
Exact same problem I'm having
1 difference my led light does not work . Is there a fix? Need help

Phone possibly bricked. Can't get into download mode. HELP

Hey im using a d855. Recently i was on on CM 13 and my phone got in a bootloop. I then tried to flash different roms from TWRP, tried to clear dalvik and cache but failed. Because every time i tried doing that TWRP was unable to mount cache/system etc and couldnt wipe anything. Then I decided to go back to stock. I used the TOT method. While the installation was going on in the LG flash tool it got stuck about 30-40 percent and a fail message popped up. It was because my phone randomly just shut off in the middle of the installation. So, i tried to do it all over again, but this time i cant even get into the download mode. When i hold down the volume up button and plug in the USB the phone goes directly to the LG screen and then goes into the "Firmware Update" screen. I tried to install the stock rom in this state, but this tie the installer stops at 5 percent and an error saying "cant get into download mode" pops up.
Now, theres no twrp, when i try to get into recovery it goes straight back to the firmware update screen. Turning the phone on normally also has the same result. I am using a USB 2.0 .
What should I do? Is there any way to save this thing? Or should I call it quits and declare it dead?
TIA
use LG mobile support tool - put into download mode, now DON'T click start upgrade - Rather goto options then click update recovery - this will write slowly the complete firmware back to phone to fix corrupted files etc - will take 57+ mins and may seem stuck from 0% to 22%, it's not just wait it out . 1 hour + to fix.

Bricked and Undetected!!!

So I recently bought the Korean LG G3 (F400) and the first thing I did was rooting it, which was a breeze. Of course to root it I needed to install the LG Mobile Drivers, which I did and were working completely fine. Then I decided to take a little risk and attempt to flash CWM recovery (I did not know that I need to unlock the bootloader first or BUMP! the device) and well, flashed it the same way I flash stuff on my previous Samsung phones.
So now, when I try to boot the phone, I get the LG Logo and goes through with the boot animation, but after a little less than a second the boot animation fails and I get a black screen + the LED flashing blue and green and the phone remains like that. I tried factory reset but after I click yes it shows the LG logo then goes into a black screen (without the boot animation) + LED flashing blue and red.
So I tried finally going into download mode and attempting to return it to stock via LG Flash Tools, and like I said before the drivers were installed, but when I connect the phone to the PC it gives the message "Drivers were not successfully installed" and the LG Flash Tools fails to detect the phone. I checked within Device Manager and it says the LGE MTP device "cannot start".
So I'm pretty much stuck with a phone that doesn't boot, can't flash anything via adb or flash tools and no recovery installed. Can anyone suggest anything I can do to get this beast back up?

Verizon LGG3 VS985 not booting

Hello
I am new to working on these phones so I apologize in advance if I don't properly state any processes or terms correctly.
I have a stock non modded Verizon LGG3 VS985 that experienced problems with WiFi and Bluetooth not working and significant battery drain. This happened right after a recent update to marshmallow. I tried cache clearing, safe mode, hard reset and nothing solved the problem. I decided I wanted to take the phone back to factory condition. I started with the LG flash tool that uses the .tot and a .dll. I ran the flash and when the program got to approx. 80%(at checking mini os phase of the flash) the phone began to reboot and only got as far as the LG logo and after about 2 min of the phone trying to reboot the flash program said fail, usb connect or something like that. At this point the phone will only start and go into a loop that includes the vibrate and the LG logo. and that will cycle until I believe the battery would die if allowed. I then found a link here at XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140) that uses the KDZ method, was well written and easy to follow. I ran it on the phone and it was going great. The flash program got to 88% and the phone went into the boot loop with the vib and LG logo . The flash program continued to run until it was complete while the phone was in the boot loop and it got to 100% and said that the software installed. I powered down the phone via battery removal and now when it tries to boot it vibes, shows the lg log and then the green android symbol shows for about 2 seconds and then it does it all over again. I have tried a hard reset and nothing changes. I appreciate any ideas any of you may have on what I can try to get this resolved. Thank you.

Not sure I understand the question completely, but I did place the phone in download mode as per the method you mention prior to both attempting the KDZ method and the TOT method of going back to stock.
