"OK Google" always on grayed out. Fix? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Last couple days, the always on feature grayed out. Not sure how to fix it.
I tried to switch back and forth US language, tried disabled fingerprint unlock, tried to enable some Google apps I turned off.... Nothing works.
Any other suggestions? Thanks
Edit: Fixed when re-enable S voice

Docomo import + NFC?

Bought a Galaxy Nexus through newegg and it turned out to be a NTT Docomo import. When I look at the battery, it says NTT(followed by three japanese characters) and SC05. Model number is EB-L1F2HBD. I google it and I get all non-english results. No mention of NFC anywhere on the battery like its english counterpart. Does anyone know if this battery is NFC capable? I tried it with google wallet and nothing happened. I'd take a picture of the battery, but I have no camera.
Easy to check:
Boot your phone
Go to settings app
Hit [more...] under [wireless and networks] if you can activate nfc from there without crashing the system it's legit... that screen should look like this :
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Please post your findings here after trying

Oh wow, didn't know that menu existed. Seems to work then. Maybe my google wallet problems can be solved with a reflash. thanks!
NFC is just written in Japanese just under NTT.

No wifi direct setting?

Back story - was trying to share a video with my friend over wifi direct instead of bluetooth for a change and noticed the is no settings for it. he has the HTC one X and the is a settings menu for him but non for us.
Am on AOKP if that helps but am surprised as I wasn't able to search for his device and the traditional wifi settings didn't have any options.
What do you think? And is there and app or a way to do it.

We're all waiting for this matter to be revealed and addressed (look here). Funny thou, the manufacturer provided the functionality but not the software to use it!?
I really got surprised with this

Voice while using calculator

Does anyone know how to turn off voice when u use calculator
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app
Hmmmm... what?
I am also confused by this
Holy crap is this annoying.
Basically, there is a bug on the note 4 that has a voice that reads aloud what your typing on the calculator...
It will read 4x4=16 as four multiplication four equals sixteen... So frickin annoying especially when im calculating cost for a job and my damned phone tells the client what my cost is!!
This also happened to me. I am just using a different calculator. I have calcu and my script calculator.
OK so I had this issue as well and tracked it down to the following. Go into your settings>accessibility>services
Anything you may have turned on under the Services Tab...Turn it OFF. This is what made my calculator finally stop talking to me. I hope this helps a few

Thanks!! Much appreciated! This helped me find it. On Samsung Galaxy s20, it's the "Accessibility button".

Question Google Assistant "What's on my screen?" not working

I tried to disable and enable several times the option, but nothing works.
I tried on both my Pixel 6 Pro and my Pixel 4 (Android 12), and it never works, always asking me to activate the option.
Also I made a factory reset of the Pixel 4 but it didn't fix the problem neither.
Anybody has the same problem or has an idea on how to fix it?
Same thing here on a pixel 6 Pro Stock
Same thing here
Apparently it's a well known issue. Supposedly swapping to 3 button navigation fixes it for some, but not me. If you Google it, you'll see a ton of people w the same problem, might be that Google is phasing it out since it's not device - specific
Confirmed.
