Form CM 10.1 and TWRP back to stock - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Just a simple question:
Is there any way to get back from CM 10.1
and TWRP 2.7.0.1 back to stock recovery and 907 ?
Greez Gadlion

The easiest way is to install a version whom you can instal from your computer to your phone it reinstals also the original bootloader. After that do a online update and install the latest official ROM. The easiest way.

Install mate toolbox on your PC, then run it and install original recovery. Once you do this you just need to create a folder on your SD card called dload and you can put the update file of your choice in it and just boot into recovery. The update will automatically run

Thanks for the fast response, but both won't work with mine and on my dad neither.
I know the methods but i can't explain why it won't work so if you can switch back to stock with the mate tool box i will work in that way with a fresh Windows ^^
Thanks anyways

If you are up to working with linux, you can extract the files from the toolbox and then use adb/fastboot to put stuff back.

My P6 is....messed and disorganized...need to downgrade...

Hey guys. Im really new to this scene and i need some help.
now currently i have kitkat 4.4.2 and im trying to downgrade to 4.2 the latest stable version for huawei.
i have the update.app ready and its in dload folder already. but when i try to downgrade it says its in lock state or something....
when i try to root it says its failing....thats with vroot and eroot.
can someone please help me with this. i just want the latest stable firmware on it and enjoy google play after a year of hell.
hm..
eroot and vroot are sometimes not proper working..
twrp 2700 and 2800 are the best way to get root (98% sure)..
first of all you need to get all the device drivers on your pc (notnonly the hisuite drivers..search for lesscro on this forum..there you should find drivers concerning huawei)..
then you need adb&fastboot (different packages and names..searchengines should find it )..
then use the search for how to flash twrp..and when you are searching, the next search should be how to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.2.x
i think this helps you the best..
Hey so i was able to root it with root genius. now whats the next step? sorry if im annoying but i want to make ABSOLUTELY SURE i dont screw this up.
alright so i got twrp in and its been flashed. now the only thing is to downgrade my phone from 4.4.2 to 4.2
ok i cant seem to update the UPDATE.APP. i have it both on my sd card and my phone.
my recovery is back to stock and it fails on VERLIST.
I need help.
CRAP
ok im freakin out now....its hanging at the huawei ascend logo. help.
tried to reloaD boot.img now and it says partition does not exist
Before you go and do anything now, flash stock 4.4 recovery and boot img, after that search the forum for link of a middle step for downgrading to 4.2 and flash that thruogh stock recovery then try to install stock JB.

thanks....
but i still cant mount system and data. where can i get the 4.4 stock? sorry i went through hell today....i dont want any "bad" files...
i fixed the system/data errors. it was wipe > advanced wipe > JUST CLICK system. after that i went to format all data and it removed those errors...
but when i try to install the stock firmware(from huawei) for 4.2 it still says failed
"Error flashing zip '/external_sd/dload/firm.zip"
Updating partition details...Failed
REALLY need an answer here.....
last post for the night....
when i try to fastboot -w update my rom i get the 2 files missing android-info.txt and android-product.txt.
hopefully i get a few responses when i wake up.
Ok since you can actually boot into recovery is a good sign so try to wipe/reset anything you can from there and then try to flash some firmware, if that doesnt go try to flash a custom recovery like twrp and install a custom rom, that would give an idea where is the problem maybe and from there its easier to get back

Able to boot into ww194 but not recovery and bootloader

Hi Masters, developers, gurus, gentlemen and women
I tried my best searching the threads but no solution.
I am able to boot into phone, surf net etc., BUT i cannot boot into bootloader and recovery.
Phone is detected as adb in Windows. I tried to adb reboot, manual volume up plus power and so on but cannot boot into bootloader or recovery. Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I lost my root now.
Thanks in advance.
Ps: i was on ww194 rooted with twrp and bootloader all working. Backside itchy that i flashed latest official MM in twrp. The phone went looping for a few times and went back to twrp. So i twrp restore my phone. This is how i am strucked.
Edit: resolved. Use unbricked guide.
Hi,
if you are rooted, you could download the firmware zip of 194, extract and flash droidboot.img, so that your BL should be working again.

I lost my root.
Also cannot go into recovery and bootloader.
I wish i can do what u suggested.
Code:
Flash temporary recovery.
Via xFSTK. helped me many times when I hard bricked my phone.
Use Asus flash tool to upload the raw file via fastboot.
Once upload you could enter recovery. And you'll see an "error" by holding volume up and power and quickly release the volume up. You'll be brought to The recovery menu (do this when you see an error occurred)
Now you'll see the option flash via adb.
Flash the full stock rom again via adb sideload.
You'll be on track back
Don't worry you won't lose your apps and files.
Bootloader gets locked and unroot.
You know what to do next mate.
Follow the link provided below.
P.s after flashing the raw file... You could only enter fastboot and you'll have endless loading on boot screen if you didn't enter fastboot. Your OS won't load until you flash stock rom via adb sideload.

[GUIDE] Unbrick your BLN-L24 and other variants after rollback to EMUI 4.1

The process here will work on all variants of 6X but you must use the Huawei Update Extractor Tool to get the necessary images from your devices initial firmware update.app. I have provided the images only for the BLN-L24 variant for which initial firmware is B110. Due to variants having different firmware the BXXX for the rollback might not be the same but the process is
When you attempt to rollback from Nougat/5.0 (B360) to MM/4.1 stock B110 firmware with successful updates using the dload method there is a good chance your phone will be bricked and fail to boot . The first update/downgrade from B360 firmware to B300 will boot the phone but when you do the second update from B300 to B110 firmware the phone will stay on the honor screen. This happened to me and after flashing firmware numerous times and using ADB to flash boot.img the phone was still not working but I was able to recover and get it working again thanks to the Huawei_Multi-Tool_by_Team_MT_v7.1.
Download Images and put them in the Unbrick folder of the Huawei Multi Tool.
System.img
Boot.img
Cust.img
Recovery.img
1. Put phone in fastboot by holding Vol - and connecting usb to computer
2. Unlock bootloader using command fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx where x is your 16 digit unlock code
3. After automatic data reset put phone in fastboot again
4. Start Multi Tool and hit enter to get to main menu
5. Press U for unbrick and hit enter
6. Press 2 and hit enter to start the process
Downgrading from Nougat to MM will relock your bootloader so you must unlock it in order for the multitool to flash the files to unbrick your device. Once unbricked if you relock the bootloader your device will be factory fresh with initial firmware.

I wouldn't they are not compatible. Also supersu is no longer up to date. Better sticking with Magisk which is under active development.
Tried using magisk method today. I downloaded the rom from sammobile, extracted the boot.img, put it on to the phone, magisk apk than patched it. I put the patched_boot.img back onto my computer and got stuck at fasttboot. I can get "adb devices" to list and connect but nothing for fastboot. I used command- "adb reboot bootloader" -to put phone into fastboot/download mode. I use linux, but also tried it under windows xp and windows 7, I fastboot can not find my phone. Odin can see me phone (Galaxy J2 2018)
So maybe others might have the same problem, maybe I am not putting phone into fastboot mode correctly?

Samsung doesn't use fastboot. You should have used the option to create a tar file then flash with odin.

Sorry, I deleted most samsung sys apps along with getting rid of most google stuff as well. I deleted one to many last night and I have to completely start over; used odin. The boot.img I used was in the 2GB zip file I found on sammobile, opened the AP*meta.tar.md5 and extracted the boot.img. I am not a rockstar in rooting, I did check the md5sum and both where different (desktop.firmware.mobi and the one I downloaded). I will say the rom I found on sammobile was the same listed in my phone under baseband version. I was a little skeptical because I didn't see any mention of DS (dual sim), but after flashing both sims work fine.
I'm retiring my old daily driver a Samsung S2, I noticed on my J2 phone I have option to encrypt sdcard but nothing mentioned about the phones storage. I guess I have some searching to do. cheers
3 cheers for removable battery, headphone jack and root.

Hello, I used magisk as recomended. I dont have twrp and I didnt see a rooted rom anywhere. Follow the magisk link Croveritiel posted. You will need: windows with odin, samsung drivers, boot.img and magisk manager.apk installed on your phone. For finding the boot.img I looked at my phones baseband version and downloaded the same stock rom from sammobile.com, extracted the zip, and extracted boot.img from the larger ap*.md5sum file. Transfer boot.img to phone. Open magisk manager on your phone and change the settings pached boot output format to img.tar . Next is to let magisk do its thing and it will make a new file named patched_boot.img.tar (or somthing similar). Move that file onto your pc, start odin, select ap and put phone into download/odin mode. Your phone will wipe when it reboots. After it reboots put magisk manager.apk back onto your phone. Your now rooted.
