So, i have been using the moto 360 with my 2gen moto x for a month now. Loving them.
One thing is annoying me, i'v setup an alarm using voice comand on my moto 360 , and now every day the thing rings, but the same alarm is not present in my phone, the alarm in the moto 360 rings even if it's not pair with the phone. Can't seem to disable it . any tips before i reset to factory settings the moto 360 ?

also, m360 alarms/timers are independent of the phone.

Didn't knew that, but kinda figured that out when the alarm was going off even thought the phone was off.
Just restored to factory settings now, the watch was acting weird on incoming calls too.
Thanks guys for the help.

Hey all,
Been having problems with the alarm since I moved to an HTC phone. I have 2 issues. If I have it on sound only, the sound goes once and then it goes to sleep. It doesn't repeat. The other thing, if I enable vibrate, the sound still goes once, but it will keep vibrating.
I moved over from an SGS phone and alarm always worked flawlessly. I woke up late a couple times on a trip.
Any suggestions to either make it work better, or for an app that can replace it?
Thanks,
Super

I had a similar issue when I first got my phone, and I purchased Alarm Clock Plus from the Market for I think $1.99 or $2.99. Never had an issue since, even with all the ROMs I've flashed. I am sure there are other alarm apps, but that's what I use.

Root if you haven't already and install CM7 or MIUI
I've been using Alarm Clock Plus (free) pretty much since I got my phone:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/alarm-clock-plus★/com.vp.alarmClockPlusDock
Alarm Clock Xtreme Free is also decent.
Gentle alarm is amazing.
Out of all the alarms I've tried AlarmDroid seems to work best for me, and it's FREE!

Thanks all. I'll check out those apps.
I'm already rooted and running Synergy.
I tried AlarmDroid and it has been working very well. Thanks for the tip!

Yep using the same here (although I think I upgraded to the full version after a while).
It's great and you can't go wrong with it, a ton of options to do.
hi guys just wondering does any 1 know why my alarm has failed to go off at 7:30 3 days in a row but i tested a alarm set for a few minutes after the current time and it works fine.
notes: volume is up, alarm sound is not silent, stock alarm 2.3.4 .62
thanks
Have you checked in which day it should repeat ringing?
Xperia PLAY has some problems with alarm let me explain you this in simple example, because I don't know how can I do it in another way.
It's friday 1AM, you set the alarm to 10AM and check repeating to fridays. You go asleep and turn off the screen. The phone won't ring.
The same thing but you DON'T check repeating to fridays - it will ring.
Check if you have the same problem, because after this little discovery I have no more alarm problems. Don't check the same day as it is today in repeating option, because 99% alarm won't ring.

So this morning I woke up to my Moto 360 vibrating at 5:17am. First I looked at my phone to see if there was an alarm set there, but there wasn't. I just dismissed it from my watch and went back to bed.
This is the first time this has happened, but I was curious to know if anyone else has experienced this before.
It just happened again. This time at 3:47am. What the hell is going on? Is my watch possessed?
your watch controls its own alarms. have you gone in to the apps and checked to see if you have a timer/alarm set up ?

I had no clue the watch had it's own alarm app. I thought it just tethered off the phone. Sure enough, there were two alarms in there which I never set. Now I'm curious to know how they got in there.
Oh well, they're deleted now, so they won't be waking me up any longer.
Thanks for your help!

i really wish there was an option to tether the two. it seems redundant, but if your phone isn't within arm's reach it would be handy both for setting and for responding.
Personally I think a vibrating is useless anyways. That wouldn't wake me up. Too bad it didn't have a small speaker for beeping.
hey i dont know if this has been answered before or not but I couldn't find it anywhere so Sorry if this is repeated.
I just updated my HTC M8 to 5.0.2 and I noticed that everytime I change the volume I have 3 new boxes below... None Priority and All which are meant for android wear.
Prior to the update sometimes I used to put the watch to No Interruptions but phone was on the normal profile.
Now however if i put the watch on no interuptions the phone automatically goes to silent. I want to mute my watch and not the phone like I used to.... how do i go about doing that?
if anyone could help ... that would be great. thanks.

The three new boxes are not for ur Moto 360, they are for ur Phone.
But if u toggle them u it will affect the notifications on ur Moto 360.
So I have a galaxy watch active 2 and a huawei p20 pro as a daily phone. I noticed though that the watch dies not notify you when phone alarms go off. I have clock notifications enabled, yet no alarms ringing on the watch. I know that the watch itself has separate alarms, however I suppose that the phone alarm should also notify you on the clock. Is it only me? Is it a Samsung - huawei clock compatibility issue?
Cheers

I have the same problem with P30. Unfortunately, I was writing here, but no one answered me.
What I managed to find is that the problem has it with no Samsung devices, but nowhere read a solution. Samsung does not want to cooperate because they does not answer when the question is not about their product.
Different apps, ofc it doesnt work.

Yes, but since you have the option to set notifications on for clock alarm app, it should notify you through the watch, the se way it does for every other app. I am not saying that when you set your alarm on the phone to also have it in your alarm app of the watch, since they are indeed different apps, yet the notification should be active..

It seem that Android Alarm Clock app do not send notification to connected watch. Just send on WearOS Watch.
GW SM-R800, Samsung S8.
Everything works fine. If I set an alarm on my phone, it will also appear on my watch.

It does send a notification of your alarms. You need to understand though that when your alarm goes off on your phone, it doesn't show a "notification," like any other apps, it works a bit differently. If you have any means of dnd turned on while you're sleeping, clearly you're not gonna see/feel the notification coming through.
Take like 5 minutes and clone your alarms from your phone to your watch.

Samsung also likes money, they much rather you have a Samsung phone too
You could also use some third party alarm app, like Sleep as Android which sets off an alarm both on your phone and your smart wearable (if you so desire).

You are right, but if I clone the alarms then I will have to switch off twice the same alarms each time they trigger, once on the watch and once on the phone, fir each of the alarms, a bit counterintuitive don't you think?

It'll be sure to wake you up
Also, you might wanna install a Samsung Clock apk, see if the integration with the watch works any better
I have the same issue with my Galaxy S10+ and my Galaxy Watch Active (SM-R500) since I changed from the Samsung Clock app to Google's own one.
Yes I can set alarms directly from my watch, and I usually wake up to them but I work shifts so often have to get up at 4am for work at 5:30.
