I'm on Verizon's LG G3 and a month or so ago I did a Hotspot mod. I can't find the thread which I had to follow step by step, but I'm hoping I can reverse the changes I made so I can install this update.
The popup comes on every time I plug in my phone to a charger, I'm sure everyone knows which message I'm referring to. I'm hoping that I can stop this annoying popup message, but I'm sure the HotSpot mod I did is stopping this.
If anyone can help me get by this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Not sure as to why but I am having problems connecting to 3G and also having bluetooth signal issues.
Regarding the 3g, it is showing up in the menu bar but when I try to go into the Market, it gives me a connection problem and wants me to keep retrying. Even if it does connect, it disconnects fairly quickly and gives me the same retry popup.
Regarding bluetooth, I was having no issues until recently. it is really choppy ever since I updated to Fresh's rom 3.2 and also went to a new HBOOT in order to flash my splash screen. People on the other side are having a fair amount of problems understanding me.
Is it possible that these 2 issues are related somehow and if so, how? Is there a way to fix as may something have happened when I changed the rom or HBOOT?

So, I have posted 3 threads in the last 5 days and got only 2 replies to them. Are people just unwilling to help nowadays or am I doing something wrong or is it because I don't post a lot that this is happening? I think I have been descriptive and courteous in my posts and would appreciate some help.
I see posts both right before mine and right after getting help and yet no one helps me. How about sharing the knowledge and suggestions PLEASE???
This may help any interested...my Mobile Network setting is constantly showing as "Turning On" but never completely turns on. Why is that and how do I fix it?
My 4g does completely turn on but do not know if it works as do not get in my local area.

I got the update pushed to my phone yesterday and ever since there has been nothing but problems! First, the battery drains at a ridiculous rate. I unplugged it at 10:30 am and by 3:00 pm I was down to 60% without anything going on except 7 text messages. I can usually go 24 between charges. Second, the overall speed of the phone has slowed to a crawl. Web pages take forever to load, the app marked just hangs on the loading screen, and apps even take minuets just to open. Third, my phone randomly loses data connection. I cannot load any apps that require a data connection even when the wifi and 3G logo are showing with full bars. I get an error massage that says "connection failed" or "retry." it's so bad that when trying to sync notes or email my phone has the scroll wheel of death and freezes on that page. I've had the phone since thanksgiving and haven't done anything to it, its completely stock, I don't even know how to jailbreak it! I haven't had any issues whatsoever before I updated and now my phone is pretty much unusable. Is anyone else experiencing this? I need there to be an update to fix this update or for someone to tell me how to downgrade back to 2.3.4
You should try rooting and running an custom rom or kernel. I've received the ota as well but i immediately rooted afterwards. Im running the stock rom but using a custom, overclockable kernel, and its quick! Rooting is VERY easy on this particular phone & the instructions can be found here in the android development section of this phone model. Or you could simply just take the phone back and ***** to sprint about it and maybe they'll issue you a new unit.
I prefer not going to sprint at all simply because the only store with a repair center here where i live i worked at and it was terrible, but I need help. I want to know the simplest way to root and revert back to 100% out of the box stock if possible... If not i'll suck it up and go to the store

Question though... Do I flash roms the same way as in the video or is there something different I have to do?
Hello all the peeps of XDA. just wanted to share something i found out. might save some the time and trouble i went through.
i am running Insane KitKat rom V8 with Xposed framework.
Just wanted to give a heads up, the "Activity Force New Task" mod seems to be interfering with tethering quite badly. It won't even let you turn tethering on. regardless of your data plan. I have 3 GB with my plan, but use mods to work around that limitation. for some reason, this module kills it all. took me a friggin week and a half to find out it was Xposed, and another several hours of de-activating, rebooting, and testing all the modules again to find which one.
not sure if it's a problem with other ROM's or not.
Hopefully, this will help someone who is having same problems i was.

I modified my screen density to see if my tablet would act as a phone now all apps crashed. I need a stock build.prop do I can continue my use. I know noob mistake but it is mood night and want thinking that tablets aren't capable for phone's system wise. I realize that now and I hope someone can help me soon. I haven't been connected to Wi-Fi in weeks so my data is not backed up to Google and touchwiz does not work properly if I back it up do can someone help me please. I don't have time to browse the internet for hours searching for this. Thank you ahead of time.
Brief background: G4 didn't play nice with some Comcast WiFi's causing painfully slow WiFi speeds. The fix came from downloading DNSet & turning it on before to connecting to Comcast's WiFi. Works great and no real problems (thanks to Textra telling me when I failed to receive an MMS! :good
Now that we're rooted, I'm wondering if there's an alternative solution. I am not familiar with everything in build.prop or if there's a specific terminal command I could run, but does anyone have an idea if we can resolve this issue now that we have root?
Can we manually tweak our DNS settings (just once, not every time) so the G4 plays nice with Comcast's WiFi, or change some network/VPN-related setting instead? I literally have no idea what might be a valid solution, so that's why I'm posting this semi-rambling request for help
I'm lazy -- I just don't want to turn on DNSet every time I connect to my home WiFi and have to remember to turn it off when I disconnect so I get MMS messages promptly. Whatever the answer may be, thanks for the help!
