I recently updated the HTC eye experience and i noticed that some of the features were missing such as the voice selfie and live makeup. Why is this.?? It's nowhere to be found. I updated it from Google play. I still haven't received the latest firmware update. I'm still on android 4.4.3 .

Anyone else receive the OTA update N910AUCU1BNK3 that's been pushing to devices in the last few days?
From what I've read its miscellaneous improvements and the inclusion of more preloaded apps, along with HD voice.
Anyone notice any changes? More specifically the "miscellaneous improvements"?
Wondering what else is going on being this is a new phone with little to no update history thus far
Ive noticed:
Quicker + smoother launching of the recent apps after pressing the soft button
New menu for the "HD Voice" seen below
Updated multi-window support

on body detection*
Hi, my one m9 is 2.7 weeks old , I setup a lockscreen password and then smartlock , I realised that on body detection is missing .
I waited , just because play services might update itself,
but nothing happened.
HTC one m9 should support it as it has an accelerometer
Tell me what the problem is , is it that I'm using a topic old version of play services , if that's the case , could you advice me as to which one should I install . My current play services version is : 7.0.99(1809214-448)
Just for the info ,my one m7 has on body detection
Thanks in advance ,
sishirbaid
EDIT
it now works!
all you need to do is update google play services to :- Google Play services 7.3.29 (1866531-448)

That is only for 5.1 I think. We are on 5.0.2 now.

i think its there.. (it is on mine)
based on this article
http://www.androidcentral.com/smart-lock-body-detection-now-rolling-out-lollipop-devices
under Settings/Security (set a lock type first) then under trusted agents select Smart Lock
I had it on my m8 with 5.0.1 sense 6 but not on my m9. Used it well. Need it back. ?
Sent From My HTC One (M8)
I can confirm that the feature is on the M8 but not the M9. It was a useful feature.

Weird. I don't have it on my M9 but you do? I had it on my Nexus 5 but I think I assumed it came with 5.1 because they happened at the same time.
HTC support informed me that the developers decided to disable it in Sense 7. No information available on whether it will return with a future update.

well, that cant be true AS on- body-detection is a part of google play services , htc cannot modify google play services. well , the innitial release of play service which shipped with our phones could have been modified but i tried installing the exact same version from apkmirror and it still lacked the feature
so it certainly is not blocked by htc. idk what the real problem is , i hope someone gets it quickly, im dying to use it again. :crying:

It may be part of Google Play Services, but might Google provide a facility for Sense to disable it? HTC Sense skins the Android settings, so perhaps they just didn't give users a means to enable it. I'm not an Android developer though. Is this possible? I don't know which I'd rather have control here. With some things, Google is responsive and fixes issues quickly. With other critical issues, they are still present 6 months after being reported!

A new version of google play services is rolling out . Let's wait and see what that one does for our phones.
It is version 7.3 and our device specific IE 448 isn't yet available on apkmirror , will post as to what it does in reguard to on body detection .
NOTE do not install just any version of play services on your device . Install only the following
X.xxx(xxxxxxxxxx-448)
Working NOW
okay, i can confirm, on-body detection is working with the newest play services. namely 7.3.29 (1866531-448)

Hi, a few days ago I manually checked for updates on my Galaxy A7 2017 and found a new update was available. I updated immediately, since it was the first update I received in a long time, and was excited with the new features this update was supposed to bring. (Selfie Focus, mask effects, etc.), but none of these appeared as an option, I'm able to download mask filters, but when I try to use them, nothing happens.
My device jumped from October 2017 security revision to February 2018, so that maybe has something to do?
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this, I've already deleted the app data from the stock camera, with no results, so I was wondering if anyone had an apk file to share or any other solutions.

I've already checked, no updates are available.
I'm one of the few who's using their Z2 Force in Dreamview VR. Since after the update, Dreamview became all but unusable. The main Home interface is stretched wide (but Settings, for example, are displayed perfectly; third-party apps aren't stretched either). Library and Dreamview Dashboard do not work (displaying a black screen with "x" and the gear icons).
Of course I tried clearing Dreamview and Google VR Services data, even tried downgrading the app. Interestingly, downgrading the Dreamview app to the very old stock version makes things work; however, that old version does not open the VR Play Store.
In the Pie firmware, Motorola pre-installed Google VR Services 1.20 (released in February 2019). However, instead of distributing the matching version of the Dreamview app (1.20, also released in February), Moto bundled a very old Dreamview app version 1.16 (released back in June 2018). I'm kinda suspicious that they knew they were breaking VR.
Anyone tried VR in Pie?
I have the same issue. I'm considering reverting to 8.0.
Here https://forum.skybox.xyz/d/566-moto-z2-force-with-android-pie users report the problem is on Google's side (a recent update to Dreamview libs/services caused this even on 8.0). I tried uninstalling updates, but it seems they are loaded automatically the first time I set up Dreamview.
Ya I have a 04 TMobile version which I flashed the Brazil or Indian pie update (or a mix of both or a mix of all three) I can't remember at this point. Daydream is screwed up has anyone been able to find a fix? I'm currently looking into it I'll post if I can find the remedy
Possibly related to this?
github.com googlevr/gvr-android-sdk/issues/634
Fixed by Google with Daydream app and Google VR Services update: https://www.reddit.com/r/daydream/comments/cxq5ox/daydream_app_dont_work_anymore/
Thanks for the tip.
This solved it for me.
I am on Android 12 latest release and rooted. I get persistent notifications that I should update to Android 12. How can I stop this annoying notification? I saw a suggestion to disable Google services so I tried that, but all that happened was that I got an even more persistent notification to enable Google services! Any help is appreciated.
