Camera app
After updating to RC11 I didn't have an stock camera app. If you don't,download the google camera zip from the post with all the gapps,extract it and install the apk from system\app,then it'll work
Should there be an stock camera app?

Bluetooth won't connect
Hi,
I run cm11 rc13 on my gio. I paired it with my tablet. I can send and receive files.
However, the connection won't stay. This is frustrating because I want to use my phone to smart unlock my tablet.
Is this a known bug, or am I the only one experiencing it?

I think Gio doesn't support ext4
As the title says,I can't seem to make my Gio running RC11 To make my sd-card an ext4 partition,the recovery makes it ext3 even do selected ext4. Any support? Need it for space issues

Using Cast Screen
Hi;Can any one Use Cast Screen in this rom? I Have a LG Smart TV and For use cast Screen First Should Conect to TV via WIFI Direct But This rom Hasn't WiFI Direct! Can anyone advise what should I do? (Sorry for Bad English!)

Can't get this install working - stuck on the blue CM logo after flashing..
Doing a wipe after the flashing causes the phone to hang one step earlier - with the Samsung logo.
- CWM 6.0.5.3.
- CM11 4.4.4 RC13 / RC14 (both give same problem)
- Flashed from stock ROM (A 2.3.7)

a2sd darktremor in cm11
Anyone has got a2sd darktremor working with cm11 Rom? After Installing referring steps from many installation guides, used 2.7.5.3 beta04 script with ext4(512mb) partition, when i do an a2sd check it says
Segmentation fault

/system/bin/bash: /system/bin/launcha2sd: No such file or directory found

I have the same issue, have you come across a fix? Also, where did you download your stock ROM from? I can't find any links that work anymore! I have found one, but its all in a language I cannot read! :S

i tried that. did a factory reset. flashed rom, wiped dalvik/cache, and installed brand new fb app, and it still closes after few sec's...
if anyone has a solution.....

Hi, im using the Deodexed+Rooted build and its realy nice, works great, no bugs or problems.
Now i wanted to install busybox and it showed me an error occured.. i checked my apps and saw that superuser from clockwork mod seems to be installed from default as sytemapp...
i flashed the update file from OP wiped davlik/cache and after reboot same thing... so im confused..
did i miss something while flashing? or will i have to restart from zero and flash again? or is there another solution?

Also, i have a great respect for the time and work the devs invest in their ROM's and im very happy they make this work.
Now i have 2 Questions that i cant find directly answered anywhere.
1. Is there a difference in building ROM's for x86 based devices, or could i follow the usual tutorials (except nedded tools etc.)?
2. Does anywhere exist a kind of "minimum" ROM?
i mean simply everything it needs to work, nothing more?
shure i know certain apps etc are needed, but id really appreciate a ROM with no personal touch, only absolut needet stuff (in case of doubt leaved as known from original) but nothin more? so i can (and have to) install what i want without need of uninstall this or that...?
oh and a third question, sry....
is there a dummy way to edit the "apps included" (sry my english is bad) of an custom rom? kinda take this app... change this app with that one or so?

I have installed my P5200 with this ROM using TWRP v2.7.1.0. But there is problem, my device always rebooted when i open some app like clean master and Photoshop Touch. What should i do to fix this problem ?

never saw this after a clean flash../ so I recommend you flash back to stock with Odin then flash 2.5 or 2.6 twrp and then flash my ROM. if still having problems let me know.

SHADOW#1000#SGH-T989_signed_xxx still around?
I tried this ROM and it is cool but not really my cup of tea. Looking for your old Shadow #1000 ROM as I have the #666 version, but would prefer to have the one without pentagram and start up and shut down music. I am too much of a novice at this stuff to be able to modify the #666 ROM myself. Is the #1000 ROM still downloadable anywhere? The original thread (Final MC6 SHADOW 9/23/13) on that ROM is locked and the download links are gone.

MY galaxy s2 t mobile version not charging after flashing rom
i was running android 4.0.4ics stock and it was charging fine, but recently i flashed this custom rom and my galaxy s2 is now on android 5.1 lollipop, but i noticed that my phone is no longer charging. once i plug in my charger, it will display charging for some few seconds and then it will stop and remain that way. even when i switch off, and then plug the charger, the battery icon will be counting without actualy charging. but if i restore my android 4.0 stock backup, it will be charging fine. pls i need help.

Hi I followed the guide of the first video and I ve installed the .zip file with CWM and it said installed, no errors. But when I reboot the phone I dont have any additional apps such as superSU and if I try to open CWM app it tells me "you need root to run this app" so I guess it didnt work.
Previously I tryed to install upd_1.zip(from the xda guide) but error 7 came up during installation.
I also tried universal_gb_v25.zip(from the xda guide) and it installed with no problems but CWM app tells me "you need root to run this app" so I guess it didnt work.
I tested the root with rootValidator and it says you don't have root.
I'm running Android 2.3.5 and model name is GT-S5830 (debugging is on)
I can't find the problem and any other method to root.. Can somebody help me please?

may i know the why we need to install Android Software Development Kit (SDK) ??
AFAIK , we only need Android USB Drivers of Samsung Kies + ODIN +OPS to flash the Stock ROM.
and the step to root and unroot (androind 2.2 or 2.3.x) , the phone read the update file directly from the SDCARD.
I have no experience with Flash Custom Revory and Custom Rom yet, but from the fisrt post of this thread, seems that they don't need Android SDK too.

Did you try to flash original rom via odin?

I installed the latest kernel today. It remains stuck on the Samsung logo with the LED flashing blue. I reverted to KT-SGS4-LP5.0-AOSP-INTL-12.22.2014.zip for now.

Samsung SGH M919 stuck on T mobile display on rebooting after KT SGS4 MJ5 kernel inst
Hi All ,
I rooted my Samsung S4 SGH M919 T mobile today and then installed CWM recovery and did a backup. I also did a Titianium backup.After that i tried to install this kernel as i have battery issues.. Everything worked fine and in the end when i rebooted, Its stuck in T mobile display page with flashing LED. When i tried to restore back using CMW recovery, it says restored but on rebooting it again gets stuck on T mobile display page with a blue LED light continuously on. FInally i tried to wipe data and did factory reset and then recover again, it has not helped. So currently, i am stuck on this page after rebooting. I tried using ODIEN and KIES to retsore custom ROM but failed. In ODIEN it says "Complete(write) Fail " and KIES does not recognize my device to update the software. I
I am able to go to download mode on my cell. I have basic knowledge about doing these kind of things , but am able to follow instructions to the T.
Could anyone suggest how can i restore the custom ROM back and get the phone working ? I have tried many different ODIEN to install firmware. Have chnaged cables/USBports.computers/ reboots , but failed. Would appreciate if you could give me an link to the softwares while replying.
