[Q] LG G3 "Boot Failure" after installing ROM HELLLPPP!!! - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Okay, so I was planning to install CloudyG3 on my VS985 anddddd, I f**ked up. Anyways, long story short the phone starts up, and when it gets to the LG screen, big letters show up saying "Boot Failure." I haven't found this problem anywhere else, so I'm kinda getting worried. Anyone know what to do?
EDIT:
Basically I installed the wrong ROM. When I tried to boot into recovery, the phone went back into a bootloop of "Boot Failure" screens. When I tried download mode to flash the stock ROM, it failed in LG Flash Tool because the program saw my phone as a VS980 instead of a VS985!

[Q] Well i screwed up

i was on the highest update for lg g2, and i tried downgrading my bootloader to zv7 and installing twrp, now my phone goes to twrp but wont go past the lg symbol on start up. I tried going into download mode and im stuck at the blue dot screen. What do i do?
The idea behind twrp is to backup your phone in case stuff goes wrong. Did you backup your phone? If so, just recover. If not, you will have to go back to stock and lose all your data. Google the tutorial on that as your last resort

[Q] F460K won't flash stock kdz

I've tried to tune headphones output gain and at some moment phone stuck at boot.
Since then I can't reach recovery. The best I've got is the "download" mode.
"Ok, fine" – i said – "show me the fireworks!" and tried to flash the brick back to stock with LG Flash Tool 2014 and the downloaded KDZ-file. But recovery process always stops with unknown error at the point of 49%. I've tried restarting it several times.
Trying to boot phone shows updating android first, then screen changes to LG logo and that's all. It stays that state forever.
Any advice would be very appreciated.
still holding a brick... Help! :crying:
OK, I've solved it.

[Q] Bricked G3

Hi everyone, new member. Recently my g3 got in a bootloop so i hard reset it. Everything seemed to work fine but after a short time the device used to get stuck and restart. I followed a guide how to revert back everything to stock but something went wrong and the device got stuck on MiniOS and then Reset Status 2.
i tried to fix it by flashing it with .kdz file but for some reason now when i turn it on it says: Secure booting error and the screen turns black and the led starts flashing red and blue.
I cannot access download mode cause it goes straight to the lg logo and black screen but u can access recovery mode. i already tried a hard reset but its no use as the device gets back to the black screen.
Any help would be immensely appreciated as this is my second g3 in 4 months and im tempted to throw it away.
Thanks and good day

LG G3 - Hardbrick - LG Suite Update

So my aunt plugged her LG G3 into her laptop to back her phone up with lg suite, and apperantly this triggered an update.
everything went well, till she got an error message: "The Update Couldnt Continue" with instructions to remove the battery,
and plug it back it, because this would resume the update. So she did, and after that, the lg logo showed and the screen went black.
the splash screen showed this error message:
"Boot Verification Fail!
- cause: Mismatch_Sig_Len"
at first thought, i thought, i might be able to flash the stock firmware trough odin, or other flash software.
but this didnt succeed since i couldnt access download mode.
Second thing i tried to do was access recovery, many people said this was done through factory reset, and by just confirming,
so i did, but, it just showed me the splash screen again.
The Tirth Thing i did was just letting it boot, this results in the splashscreen showing, and the screen turning black with the led flashing red and blue.
Its a Dutch LG G3 D855 with stock firmware, no TWRP or root.

no recovery, no rom lg logo just pops up and fades away

So i was unhappy with my rom so i tried flashing another rom on my lg g4 h815 which didn't work and i didn't seem to be able to install anything with twrp on my phone so i wanted to reinstall twrp which didn't work and now I have no recovery, and no rom on my phone and when i turn it on the lg logo appears and then i have a blackscreen, and then that repeats. the logo only appears for like half a second. when i try holding volume up and power the logo stays a bit longer, though my phone doesn't enter download mode. the LG bridge doesn't seem to recognize my phone even after installing driver, and the lg support tool gives me an error apparently but i can't read what it's saying, the error message is just blank. I'm grateful for any help i can get with this. thanks a lot in advance
