Well I guess N7100 is better. According to the users it has the longest battery life. The dev community is bigger too. Normally N7100 is the first to get firmware updates.
Specs are almost same except for the fact N7105 has LTE.

Is it a bug or normal of Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100)

Any one got this problem ?
Galaxy Note II (without any case) , In this video I'm trying to draw straight line across the screen
It seems the S-pen have a problem with some area
especially on the edge of screen
It cannot draw the straight line correctly , even I try to use the plastic box to control my S-pen
Is this normal ?
strange, I did ur same test on my N7000 (=Note I) and that was perfect... my ruler was a credit card if it counts.
Just did this test on my N7100 and it drew a straight line.
I used a credit card and a straight edge of cardboard and did NOT get the same issue. The line was drawn straight.

What's up everyone? I was on CL trying to find a reasonable swap for my girlfriend to take with her to London in January for a study abroad program for her Psychology program at IUSB. I have an S3 on VZW that I have had since about 1 1/2 weeks prior to release and she has a GNex. She COULD take my phone with her, but she isn't tech savvy, so let's get past that first wave of comments right now.
Anyways, while wondering the wonderful world of CL I found a reasonably priced AT&T S3 (Red), but the sticker on this guys screen says it has the Quad Core CPU. You guys got the Exynos in the red version?
http://southbend.craigslist.org/mob/3370904809.html
There are no quad core lte s3's. There is a dual core lte in red. I think it has the wrong sticker on the screen
Maybe its the i9300 in red.

What i believe mrhaley was trying to get at is that there are some contradictory notes here....
1) Garnet Red is an AT&T specific color
2) The only quad-core version of the S3 that also supports LTE is the i9305, which is the International S3, not an AT&T specific one.
3) the i9305 only comes in Black or Silver... not Red, which means it wouldn't be a quad core, rather it would be an AT&T Garnet Red Dual Core that DOES support LTE.
They allow you to swap girlfriends on Craig's list? I need to go on there more often.

Well it's not like the guy lives far away from me, or that I can't go look at it. He wants cash and in-person. Just curious about the sticker. I won't waste my time after seeing that video though!

Oh well, I have already decided she is getting a Nexus 4. That way at least there isn't a learning curve for her coming from CM10 on GNex to CM10/Etc on the Nexus 4. And, less likelihood I will have to trouble shoot something ridiculous from hundreds of miles away.

No disrespect intended, but i need to see the link to Samsung's site before i believe it.
I forgot to mention, a slight error in the video about the fake GS3's. The real ones back plate, at least on VZW, is painted on over the surface of the clearcoat. Of course, the front Samsung emblem isn't, just the back plate.

As usual, and with much envy, us Canadians are way behind the rest of the universe in receiving updated firmware.
Has anyone heard rumors as to when the Multi-Window update will hit Rogers or any of the other Canadian operators, now that AT&T (which I believe has some affiliation with Rogers) has rolled out it's update? Or is it time to take the plunge and install a custom room (clean/jedi)

Yes, I agree about the disheartening part. They won't even tell us about their strides to get Multi-Window. I was watching YouTube videos before and they really sold me to the Note 2 on the Multi-Window. This phone is awesome, and it's a shame that we won't be able to get multi-window yet. AT and T already has it.
I'm not about to root this phone yet. I don't feel I should. It works perfectly now and there always seems to be a solitary problem after rooting.
Ill give you one reason to root so you can use directory bind. 16gb doesnt go far and not being able we to move apps to a 32 sd is enough reason. Whats the big deal about rooting.....

You are right, but I did root my Galaxy SII in the past, because of battery life. It fixed the battery life, but my WiFi and Data went wonky all the time after. There are no problems with this phone except missing Multi-window. That's why. I hear you though. If you've already rooted your phone, kudos to you.

I made the move to CleanROM a month ago to get multi-window and discovered a bunch of great features. You wont be disappointed.
I took you advise and it was the best decision I made. Cleanrom 4.05 is fast, feature rich and stable.

I'm using Note-Orious Prime ROM. I kept my Note 2 stock for about 2 days then rooted and flashed this ROM. Funny thing is I had no clue about the multi window function of the Note 2 until I saw a commercial after flashing.
I suggest this ROM if someone is looking for a stable close to stock one that also has multi-window and functioning Samsung S-Pen apps. Everything seems to be functioning. Glad I took this approach after reading this thread and knowing how the combiation of Samsung and Canadian carriers tends to leave customers "in limbo''

Hello guys, i dropped my lg Optimus screen and now the touch screen is unusable. i can see the screen just fine (minus the obscuring cracks, lol) but i just can't send the signals to the touch sensor. SO I'm going to bring it in to best buy and see what i can do about the screen, but first, obviously, i need to unroot my Lg Optimus G. I have the LGNPST all ready to go, correct ZVC bin downloaded, EVERYTHING (I'm currently unrooting it now). i am just wondering if i need to reset any ticker, or anything else to make sure my phone looks completely un-tampered with. THANK YOU!

He was saying he doesn't want the root detectable, and since the screen was cracked it was unusable.
I think he question is after he goes back to stock ZVC, is there anything else he needs to do so it doesn't looked messed with, or tampered.
