[Q] Android 5.0 Lollipop AOSP port Xperia ZL - Sony Xperia ZL

Android 5.0 AOSP already working well in xperia Z. Is it possible to port it into our Xperia ZL ? Any ZL developer willing to port it?

Porting Lollipop to ZL
It would be amazing:fingers-crossed:

Devs (for instance SuperHanss for what I've heard) are already working on this. Remember that this is not easy, be patient. I am holding my breath waiting for it too and would love to see it, but I think it might take a while. Odin is not so popular as Yuga and less developers are working on it.

[Q] Why not Darkyrom ??

Why devs not started working on porting darky rom or any other roms on arc other then cm7
Well of course i m not a developer in porting roms.
not enough users, probably. We waited about 6 months at least for x10 rom development, you'll just have to wait...
sinkster
Another reason is that most branded xperia arc cannot unlock bootloader unless you pay for it. So i guess we have to wait, but still it is pretty nice phone even without custom rom.

[Q] Best near stable kitkat rom for Sony Xperia Ion?

Hey guys! I have been using jellybean custom roms for a quite long time on my ion now. I have seen that there are 4 or 5 kitkat roms for ion,but i don't know which one is better and battery efficient and perfect for daily use! So,i just wanted to know that which kitkat rom is good or stable right now??
Thanks in advance!! :fingers-crossed:
If they have the same problem like the Acro S that the ext_card isnt't working...

[REQ] Can someone make Z2style Rom for acro s?

My friend tells me there is no Z2 style or sirius look and feel Rom for my Xperia Acro S. I want to use that rom because that is so great. i want to feel z2 UI, etc.
Can someone make Z2 style Rom or sirius look and feel rom for Acro S? If someone make this rom, it will be a great news for all xperia acro s 4.1.2 users.
THANKYOU BEFORE
P.S : Sorry for my eng heheh
i'm dev something like that... but based on 4.4.3 AOSP (From deedwar dev') but have some bugs... like GPS don't working, HDMI have some blue flashes while using and FM radio no sound =/
I'm will try make "my" ROM have Xposed support too... but i don't have much time to dev every day because that i can't give you a date about the release =#

best rom for Xperia ion

first thing sorry for my bad english , and my noob questions, this is my first android phone and here is the story...
hello guys, i just bought xperia ion, and it is already lagging in 4.1.2 version
i am noob, and heard that people here make fast android versions for old phones
my question is what is the best and most stable , and most important, fast and smooth rom ; that i can install on xperia ion
i want something stable bcuz i won't make anychanges later in the android version, and i won't update it
just something that will hold good for a year , and has nice performance
Best Rom in my experience
I am using Xperia ion for the past couple of years...I tried out almost every rom which is available for the device and in my opinion I would suggest you to install this Rom [ROM][PARANOID ANDROID 2.53][Xperia ION - JB 4.1.2] (update 13/07/2013) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953780
It is smooth, fast and also bug free. Even the battery life is good

Possibility of Custom ROMs

Discuss about the possibility of this phone having custom ROMs!
What I think is that it should be possible for custom kernels, custom ROMs requires Mediatek frameworks and hardware which requires Mediatek's source code.
I've emailed in to Sony and Mediatek regarding this issue (I'm pretty sure they might just ignore, but yea without trying it will never happen)
any news about custom roms ?
Any hope for custom roms? :/
A lot of stuff has released on Z5 that I have a hinch some might be compatible but we have no recovery to try.
I guess not any/enough devs have an M5 unfortunately
So no good news for the nearcoming future.
It was like this with Xperia Arc it was Qualcomm processor and still passed more than a half year till the recovery came and then later the roms.It will come out but we need to wait with mediatek smartphones it's harder but it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Even if it doesn't happen it's still good as it is.we have root xposed what do we need more.I understand that a lot of people like customizing i do to but hey it's not the end of the world.

Unfortunately the m5 isn't that popular I doubt there'll be anything other than modified stock and that's only if Someone has one to release recovery+mods for. The m2 was and still is a popular device but custom roms barley exist for it there isn't even a fully working mm rom for it m5 will be sonys next t3 I think
Sony released kernel sources for m5?
M5 was re called in the UK replaced with the Z5
