Each of these two versions has a build for the codinap device (with NFC) and the codina device (without NFC).

Which build of this rom is stable and good? No problem with speaking to others after calling them or being called. No glitchiness and no wake up delay. Also which works with which build of monochrome?

I would post this in the main thread, but as I have less than 10 posts I´m not allowed to.
It´s not important anway, but i was wondering.... wouldn´t "stripped" make more sense than "striped" for your stripped down build?

Another question, I've never had notifications of Twitter app with CM, with stock I had. I think is CM rom problem because of that. Am I right? Is known this problem? What causes it?

Hi,
I am new to custom ROMS and was wondering what i need to do to upgrade from my current ROM (Rox August Build) to this ROM.
Do i just download it, put in on my SD card and Install it from there? Am I right in assuming that I need to delete the Cache and Dalvik first? Do I also have to do a factory reset or can i avoid that?
Does the camera bug fix refer to the video recording bug? Because that´s something that´s bothering me on rox´s build.
And a general Question about this forum - how are you supposed to get to 10 posts to be allowed to post in the main thread, when posts in the Q&A section don´t even count as posts?

Not sound call in 17/10, I don't hear caller and he doesn't hear me.

I just flashed the 2510 codina version along with the p1 kernel and microgapps. Looks like working OK for now, battery droped drom 50% to 12% during setup (did all suggested wipes so I had to set the device from scratch) within the first hour.

For me all works great. I'm using newest version of your ROM and newest version of ace2nutzer's kernel.

Hello, i use cm11 for two weeks now and i like it. However i am dealing with an annoying problem. There is a major delay at the screen when i have an incoming call, also when i answer a call there is another delay with my voice at the early seconds and as a result if i speak right after answer the call, the other party will hear nothing of what i am saying. Please can someone help me fix this problem? Otherwise i will have to go back to stock ROM and i don't want that but calls are important to me.

What?????? You make no sense.

I find when I clean flash a ROM after a couple of days it gets really slow and laggy especially on art. Would wiping my internal storage help with that?

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing low speakerphone volume? I read there were speakerphone issues back in August but those have been fixed since. The volume output seems very low to me if anyone has any recommendations (besides saying turn the volume up since it is) it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I try to do that when I come to a new ROM don't know if it would make a difference but as long as you have your data on a sdcard it won't do any harm.

So, I've flashed just about ever single ROM possible, slimrom being my last... When really, it should have definitely been my first. This ROM is amazing. Hands down.. The best. Appreciation, thanks, and gratitude goes out to the devs and any/everyone who worked on and helped this ROM become what it is. But. I got a new HTC DOT VIEW case today as a gift... And when I try to install the DOT VIEW app to use it.. I'm prompted with this message 'INCOMPATIBLE WITH OTHER APPLICATION(S) USING THE SAME SHARED USER ID" ..Idk what to do. Sure would suck to have to use another ROM for something so petty. This was a fifty dollar case and I really like and would like to be able to use it. As well as SLIMROM. /:

problems with call/notifications audio being only distortion
Thanks for reading this but I am having only distortion come through my speakers when receive call. Music, YouTube, alarm audio all work fine. Also, ir blaster not working as well. Running build 9 slimkat for sprint HTC one m8 with 4.4.4. Thanks for checking out.

Google Services Battery Drain
One would think with all the development in both lollipop and kitkat that this problem would have been fixed and implemented into all the new rom releases. Google Services battery drain depletes the battery preventing the phone from deep sleep and accounts for quite allot of drainage. A fix would be nice from the developers, Thanks.

anybody here play brave frontier? i wanted to try this rom but i'm hesitant to make the switch because in the stock kitkat rom, the game would constantly crash (even with all effects off).. Currently on AOSP it works well, but I miss the sleek look of the LG UI

What kernel are you speaking of? What settings are you running (brightness, tweaks etc)? A little context would help many folks smile a little. The pictures are all fine and well, but how did you achieve that?

it's the new kernel, since that has the new options, decided to try lagfree first, worked well i guess
auto brigthness, wifi and location enabled all day

yes thats the one,
it's just as good as the one before to be honest, haven't really noticed anything spectacular
although i never had issues before, so i can't tell if it fixes anything or not hehe

Could you please advise, if it's possible to customize this ROM somehow? I would love to:
1) Remove all lg software
2) Remove stock browser
3) Replace stock dialer with something else
4) Replace messaging app with let's say Textra or something similar
5) Have only Core Google Apps (something like PA-Gaps Nano)

I dirty flashed this and ever since music from Google Play and Soundcloud just refuses to play. I can play music locally in other apps but even local music won't play in Googe Play Music. Has anyone else had this problem?

Banker Z Concern or False Positive?
Avast alerted me as well. Seems like it was able to remove it and everything was working before it was detected and still is after it was removed. Could be a false positive since a lot of people are reporting it now but better to be safe for now and let Avast and them go to work.

Thank you very much @Skin1980 for the great work! I'm having a little bug about notification LED. I'm having blinking white LED like Whatsapp default LED notification even if I haven't got any new message. I flashed the new kernel and using the Lollipop Theme of Kickoff.

Knock code is buggy
I don't know if someone else is having problem with the knock code feature as well. I found that some times the knock code feature doesn't work properly. While the screen is off and after knocking the proper code the screen won't wake up, not even after double tapping on it. Even the LED that turns on when you introduce a wrong code is not turning on, it is like it was disable. I have to press the power button, wake up the screen and then introduce the code.
I have a quick circle case and a smartwatch connected as a trusted device to use the new Smart lock feature that comes with Lollipop. I'm not looking for a solution, just pointing out the bug, I'll flash the LG stock image as soon as it's realeased in my country.
By the way, none of the quick circle apps work. Only the ones that comes with the phone by stock. You might want to check that up.

Anyone having issues on Feedly after moving to this rom or any other Lollipop rom ? When scrolling the sources list everything gets blank, then reappears, like it's some rendering problem.

I mean this room need to update prl and profile but i not using sprint already unlocked this phone and i use other carier

Love the rom so far but here are a few observations, Can't edit apps in Toolbox when dragging it to "Edit" - right and left capacitive buttons not lighting up at all - I know we don't have an "Edge" but all of the settings are there, will this be implemented in the future? Thanks for the great work so far, I'm keeping my eye on this one.

Only Facebook notifications come thru on my Gear S. It's very weird.

Can someone tell me what baseband this runs? I'm on bob7 alliance and what to know if this runs a newer base. All help is appreciated.

Yes they are s pen is working.

Installed V2 on a clean install and noticed that the bluetooth audio chops whenever my wifi is in use such as when apps are downloading and updating. Any suggestions?

Never ask for eta

Anyone having problems with the s view? I can change the wallpaper and have the cam and phone short cuts but I can not get the time to show up. Going to s view option and it shows everything in working order.

I think he just read it wrong.

I am having some random and extreme lag issues. Is this isolated? I have done 4 clean installs and it all results the same way
Is there perhaps another kernel I could use?.

Does anyone from the group of people that released this port actually read this Q & A thread? It seems like people are asking questions, including myself, and not getting answers or even an "We're working on it" - Not trying to be *****y but that's what this thread is for correct? The option is not on the v2 but the hotspot is there, i use Wifi Hotspot Settings from the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tethersettings

A lot of apps crashing
Just installed it, and after unlocking the phone a lot of the apps seem to crash. If I try to open them, they crash again. Google Play services seems to be in the lead, as I'll get a message every few seconds telling me it has stopped working.
Also no smart lock. I am not a peasant. My phone should be so afraid of me that it should unlock with a mere look ahaha. Going to do a complete wipe and then try again.

Which gapps did you flash? I've had no force closes with deadmans gapps

Just a couple of things
I'd hate to be annoying as crap about questions like these, when I can just flash it and find out. But:
What kernel are you using? I know AndroidOS is going to be at the top of the list of battery usage because of libhoudini, but I'm just wondering.
Does it also support DT2W? If not, its not a complete deal breaker, but its a wonderful and useful feature being the sleep button being on the top

Not Deadmans, so now that I am, that is no longer a problem. Thank you. The camera however is giving me trouble, but it seems to be a common problem with cm and its variants on zenfone. The only camera app that doesn't crash while using it, even when switching between front and back, is the paid version of high speed camera, but not everyone can be expected to buy an app for a temporary problem.

Just the regular CM kernel. And no I didn't add double tap 2 wake because its not supported natively in AOSP. There's a lot of apps that emulate the feature though

Hey Dev, what are the actual bugs in this rom? I really want to know as specific as possible. I want to flash it in my only daily driver..

I downloaded this build, and wanted to share my thoughts on it (wasn't sure whether to post on DEV section or here, but I think it's more suitable here):
Pros
- Very minimal, no bloat
- Very fast and crisp
Neutral
- Battery doesn't seem any better or worse than previous
- Brightness seems to be much brighter than before on the lowest settings
Cons
- Quite a bit of crashing on Camera (works on one try, then crashes on next, or it crashes on Settings etc...)
- Candy Crush Soda Saga is unresponsive on launch - lol
I personally prefer it over ZenUI, and if the two cons I observed are resolved somehow, then that would perfect.
Anyhow, much props to OP for creating this!

I installed paranoid android a while ago, but I had a problem with the dual sim (When i rebooted, no sim would be recognized, then when it entered airplane mode, the sim 2 would not be recognized, I had to fisically remove the sim and reinsert ti, really annoying)
Anyone using 2 sims, that can try this in this ROM and give me feedback?

Thanks for the feedback the camera problem is a bug with all zenfone ROMs. Also candy crush works here fine
