well CM and Carbon sure are and once they finished there "stable-ish" 5.0 nightly that's probably when our/the D2LTE Dev's will take a crack at it but they could go above and beyond and make it before them but i would say only if they choose to...and if your wondering about stock TW based roms that will only happen if Samsung updates us to 5.0 TW....
the i9300 and i9350 are getting AOSP Lollipop love via ports http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/rom-namelessrom-t2939673 <---one example but we just have to be patient and see if our Devs make a port or source built AOSP custom rom for us....

Its been awhile since ive seen a device without aokp support. Will we have it and doesnt anyone know when
isn't AOKP still based off CM? Usually you start seeing all the original AOSP type ROM's come out after CM has been released.

Actually, they compile from source now! They do, however, use the CM device trees to fix things with their builds for some devices. Just a little fun fact and to answer the e.t.a question, we really don't know! Whenever a maintainer get their hands on one or someone steps up to maintain the device with them.
Is someone building a gnex omnirom build for our device? It seems easy to do and i read that it should work normally on gnex, but nobody tested it yet
I also want to get this rom, as currently cyanogenmod is not like it used to be...
2 plans for me, go to stock when 4.4 is out or use Omnirom, but don't know the time for either...

i can suggest you to try carbon rom
Why is this in Gnex Android Dev?
Do you think this will be an easy port to bring a ROM to our T-Mobile devices, or will we need a radio update (like the TW 4.3 ROMs are requiring)?

I think it will be an easy port.
There are already 4.4 roms for the S4 coming out. All of the custom roms like CM and AOKP are ultimately based on the 4.4 source.

Sweet! That's what I assumed as well. I won't say I can't wait because I can, but I am certainly anxious. Kit Kat runs very lovely on my Nexus 7 'S, both 2012 & 2013.
i'm really interested in updating my phone to 4.4.2 rom but i want touchwize and it seems like all that is out here is asop roms.. please help...i know that att note 2 has that dn3 rom that is bad ass. thanks:crying:
Wrong section for this. We can't have a kitkat tw rom until we get the official update.

Well technically if we can build the 4.4 kernel from source then we could port it. Although I am sure it will require devs to fix the posted source before it can compile properly.
So waiting for an official release will be easier and less problematic. It will mot be very much longer before the official version is out. Two months tops.

What would it take to get this baby some ROMs? I've had success porting ROMs in the past, and I've noticed that there is a few custom ROMs for smartwatches. I just have no idea where we would start. Anybody got any feedback?
I would also like to know but I guess you can make a stock based rom there is a perfect flashable back up here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sma...rom-repacked-stock-rom-swr50-version-t2988087
I mean I don't know anything about roms but couldn't you just unzip this rom above add some custom apps/bootanimations ect... then rezip it?
I mean, you probably could. I'm looking to make something from source I guess. I'll have to poke around later to try and find the lollipop sources for it.
