[Q] TWRP Stuck on TeamWin Screen - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Every time I attempt to reboot to recovery mode the recovery freezes at the TeamWin splash screen. I've flashed the recovery several times as well as tried previous versions of the recovery. I'm currently running a rooted stock rom (KVT49L.D85110c). Attached is the recovery.log

[Q] Problems restoring nandroid in Rogue Recovery 1.1.1

ROM is Calkulin 2.0.1a, all EK02. MicroSD card is 32GB Class 10.
I was originally having headset jack issues (no ear speaker audio, no option to use speakers or bluetooth) that I thought were software related; I created a full nandroid backup, wiped all, and restored to clean 2.0.1a before I realized that the headset jack might have been stuck. Fixed the headset issue, booted into recovery to restore the nandroid, you can select Restore or Advanced Restore...
"Error opening directory.
No files found."
No option to select folder or anything like that, although going into the zip flash dialog shows the folder structure in whichever storage I select.
I've copied the recovery files between SD and internal, tried playing with the folder structure to see if I could get it to do something (including dumping the whole folder into the root)... I could understand if the recovery wasn't able to read from a 32gb card for one reason or another, but the fact that I can't get it to open anything at all is frustrating. Appreciate any help you have to give.
Tried updating to Desperado/1.1.2 after posting this thread - still no luck.

semi bricked my Z1 Compact (likely with wrong boot.img)

Hi,
seems I semi bricked my Z1 Compact.
Symptom is now: the startup animation spins forever (>20 min).
I closely followed the instructions at wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_amami except that I flashed a wrong boot.img.
(of a 2011 device, probably the one within cm-10.2-20140304-RELEASE-LegacyXperia-urushi.zip).
I then flashed boot.img of cm-11-20140708-SNAPSHOT-M8-amami.zip with fastboot and CWM starts up fine.
Installation of cm-11-20140727-NIGHTLY-amami.zip then ends with:
Code:
Install from sdcard complete.
E:Can't mount /sdcard
On reboot then the boot animation (blue arrow) spins forever.
I then tried with CandyKat-v1.5.6-Official-release--20140721.zip (boot.img and .zip) with similar result (boot animation never stops).
Its TWRP recovery allowed to save a log which points to at least a problem with /data . Excerpt from the log:

How could I proceed? (Fastboot, Recovery is functional, adb is not)
Thanks a lot!
First press the little hard power off red button located in your microsd slot to make sure the phone is fully turn off. Then try to boot in flashmode and check if flashtool detects your phone and then flash a .ftf firmware.
Great! Thanks a lot TheEndHK!
That did it for me, the phone is up again

[Q] TWRP Stuck on TeamWin Splash Screen

I'm trying to flash a new rom but whenever I boot into recovery I get stuck at the TeamWin splash screen. I've reflashed the recovery several times as well as flashed previous versions of TWRP but the same thing keeps happening. I'm running a stock rooted rom, and attached is the recovery.log
Thanks in advance for the help!

I have EXACTLY the same problem, on the AT&T LG G3...bump for help.
Did you have working recovery before? Or is this your first time attempting to flash a rom????
The recovery has not worked and I have been unable to flash a rom
I seem to have fixed the problem and am now able to boot into recovery. I flashed philz recovery using flashify, the link to the recovery is http://www.invisiblek.org/recovery/d851/

Stuck at TWRP. Unable to flash anything. Please help :(

Hi everyone. Please help me out. I was trying to root my Xperia M C1904, so first I installed TWRP v3.0.2.0 and then I decided to flash my custom ROM as well.Unfortunately I couldn't do anything now. My phone keeps on rebooting to this recovery everytime I try to boot my phone. I somehow copied ROMs and .img files just to make sure that something,s wrong with this thing. I even download my stock firmware as well. But I can't do anything now. Neither I can boot to system, nor in fastboot as well.
And yeah, when trying to flash, I get these many errors. I thoroughly checked everything on Internet and thought that maybe flashing to stock ROM might help, but this thing won't even flash anything and just keeps on booting to recovery.
PLEASE! PLEASE Help me!
PS: Here is the error below showing in my phone.

I have a similar problem.. I had the AOSP 7.1.1. BETA 5 ROM but I decided to transfer to Ressurection Remix, I installed it, but it showed me the Unable to mount /cache (invalid argument) error and now it doesn't boot even if I restore my backup with the old ROM. I tried connecting the phone to the Flashtool, but the drivers seem mashed up and I can't even flash my stock software. I wasted my whole day and now I'm clueless... I hope that the phone isn't bricked, broken and somehow I could fix it.
Hello folks.. I had same issue when I flashed aosp based rom from lineage ROM and vice versa. I resolved this issue by following steps..
1) Download Androxyde flashtool which will you get in Google search. This flashtool made only for Sony devices and has build in device drivers which could be install manually. For practical watch on YouTube.
2) Download fotakernel.img from https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/foru...cwm-twrp-recoveries-custom-roms-t3016507/amp/ and follow steps that has given.
3)After flashing you will get twrp in which mount option will have cache, system, data etc partitions. Check it to see wheather that particular partition mount.
4) Flash rom and check for further errors.. mostly I used all ROM available for our device which played this trick work..
