Hacked Adobe Flash? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Links I've been pointed to seem to not be working. Does anybody know where I can find the hacked version of Flash so I can install?

Not sure. But I remember all attempts at watching Amazon Prime Video on android for me were useless (I know the app is out now), tried flash (latest version for ICS and above), and it didn't work. Googled "Amazon Prime Video Android" and somewhere I found it. And ot worked. The link I had downloaded from (someone's Google Drive), says it vioated terms of service.

I've never heard of a hacked version. I'll look into. As far as flash video playback goes the stock android and samsung browser don't or don't fully support flash anymore.

Yup. Only way I know it works. I think some browsers have it built in?

I don't recall whether it was Netflix, Amazon, or both, but at least one of them runs on Microsoft's Silverlight. Not flash.

[Q] Samsung Remote apk (TV remote)

Does anyone have the apk for the latest, v2.2.5, Samsung Remote app? I know it's not officially supported by the gnex but I've just got my first LCD TV (UE40D6530 even though you didn't ask) after having an SD CRT for donkeys and I heard it may work.
By the looks of it it's out there on various random sites but I really don't trust them.

SamyGo Remote works with samsung tv's (UE55 even though you didn't ask ).
Cheers, saw SamyGo but wasn't sure if it was for the newer ones and wanted to compare it to the real deal. Guess I'll just have to use that, my TV doesn't support twin view or dual view or whatever it's called anyway.
Bump as I've got SamyGo which does work but doesn't allow for easy text input, say for searching iPlayer or using the built in web browser.
I've emailed Samsung to request an update to the app so it supports ICS but no idea how long that could take.
Does anyone have a copy they can post? The official Samsung app is the only one that allows you to turn your TV on with Bluetooth and I have heard that the apk works with the galaxy nexus.
Also interested. I have a le40652 possibley meant to have a B in there not sure. I don't think the official Samsung one supports my TV its one year too old, I never got on very well with this whole sammygo swapping TV firmwares I couldnt get it to work.

I tried the app (not connected to the TV), and it seems it's locked to a lower resolution so it won't go fullscreen. I still hope it works with my TV, since even with smaller graphics it is still better then sammygo
/edit: The app works, I've not tried it with Bluetooth only wifi.
can anybody please post a mirror? link to dropbox doesn't work anymore.
thanks
Its 2.2.5
Anyway to change the dpi (make it full screen)
Samsung smartview supports higher resolutions. Try getting that apk

Stock Kindle Apps

I LOVE my jelly bean Kindle but miss my stock Kindle reader a lot. I've searched and read a lot and find references focusing the stock launcher to load the stock reader but it doesn't work for me ("sorry, launcher has closed"). I've seen other references to 'dual booting' being the only solution (I don't think I miss it enough to boot every time I want to read - I do have a kindle keypad if I really need to get a fix .
[Q] Anyway, I just wanted to ask here whether anyone knows whether/how I can use the stock reader on my CM10 ROM.

Still curious/found a solution somewhere else?

Hi, obviously this post is looking kinda dead, but I am definitely interested if you've found something elsewhere? I am looking into rooting my girlfriend's kf for her but I am sure she wouldn't want to lose a major feature such as that. I know they are alternatives but like you said im sure it would be missed and a deal-breaker for her to flash a rom
Don't be worried about that! The google play kindle app is basically the same one you have with the stock rom!

So not! It is painful to lose the stock kindle reader (have u seen the ipad ad? Maybe the android app will get updated...)
Anyway, dual boot is the only way to have both. You will also lose video streaming.

I installed Flash and stream Amazon Video via the website. As for the stock reader versus the one the one from Google Play, I can hardly tell the difference.

Thanks I suppose. That thread and mod is over a year old. It works. But Hulu Plus works on the GN2. In fact, Hulu Plus on the market is version 2.4 and the modded one you link to is version 1.0.1.
This mod is good if you want to use HML out. I don't know if it's the mod, but video out is not disabled. The one from the market you can't use HML/HDMI out.
Whats the point of this? Am I missing something? Still cant watch full episodes. I need to be a subscribed customer all I can watch are the free ones=lame
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
basically, not all android devices Hulu let use Hulu Plus. The mod gave the ability to use Hulu Plus on any Android device. It had nothing to do with giving free access, which was stated in the original thread.

No, I have sgn2 running Paranoid android 4.1.2 and I couldn't watch anything. I keep getting this, until I downloaded modded apk

ah gotcha. I'm running a deoxedized stock rom and have no issues.
My guess, the rom is missing the DRM keys. On my tablet (asus tf700t) if I unlock the boot loader to flash custom anything, the DRM keys will be removed and then Hulu Plus won't work.
But what I said about HDMI out still holds true.

So noone is able to log in? :crying:
you can't log in on the official app, but there is other ways, such as using the YouTube channel on Plex. This is because YouTube uses the google framework, and the OUYA doesn't have it.
Or install it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43253639
Envoyé depuis mon Galaxy Nexus en utilisant Tapatalk 4 Beta
aaa ok, unless rooting and a little bit of work it wont work, but this does not stop ouya or someone else to build a youtube app?
Or does youtube demand this framework or is it just needed for the android youtube-apps that are currently out there?
I bet we'll see something official, but who knows. YouTube is owned by Google after all, so if they have any ill feelings towards the OUYA (which I do not believe they do, but others aren't so sure) it won't happen.

I was able to sign in using plex, but it doesn't really give you access to your account (or maybe that part is broke). You should also be able to login using a browser, but that might be more work than it's worth

XBMC Frodo, straight from xbmc.org/download.
The Youtube Plugin... well, not really sure on the details on that... I'll check the info on it. But it was actually automatically installed when I installed the 1Channel plugin. So whatever that is.
here's what it says in the info for it:
type: Media Source
author: TheCollective
Version: 4.4.4
cheers.

I think the youtube I plugged in was just the regular one that is there to choose from once it's installed, but I could be wrong. It was really late the night I setup my XBMC
Does anybody know what additional packages (besides the one needed for Google Play Store) the Youtube app depends on?

As far as I know, that's it, just the google architecture.
Also, the XBMC youtube is working pretty well, just use XBMCHUB Wizard and it'll be preinstalled.

The XBMC Youtube Add-On works just fine, but I don't want to start XBMC each time I want to watch a Youtube video. I am able to start the Youtube app though, but then an error message occures (forgot what it was about, something about not being able to log in, if I'm not mistaken)...

What build number of flash do you have?
The most current version - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81) is here.
Here is a link to the Adobe Flash Player Archive.
Are you using a web site to access Comcast or the APP?

Said every iPad user ever. Coming from an iPad I am used to this. I would venture to guess most users use their favorite browser anyway. Some are free others are cheap. Easy
