when you are talking with someone they sometimes can hear you and sometimes not? I know on my htc one i had that issue and installed viper rom and have had no problems since. this phone I have had no issues are you running stock rom or custom? also you can try disabling the proximity sensor i have seen that help on other phones.

[Q] !!! Phone keeps cutting off during call !!!

Has anyone else had this problem with their HTC Desire HD?
My phone keeps cutting off in the middle of calls for no reason. First time I thought it might be my cheek or something pressing against the "end call" button whilst talking, but after this happening about ten times since I've had the phone in two weeks, I don't know what is wrong. The network signal is good!
At one point the sound just cut off mid-call and although I could hear the person on the other end they couldnt hear me...
The same issue I had with my HTC HD2 when installed Android NAND Rom. And no such problem was on this phone while using Windows Mobile. So I think it's some kind of Android software problem.
Any ideas? Maybe someone knows how to fix it?

Sounds like it's a proximity sensor issue, try making a call with the phone on a counter top and placing your finger over the proximity sensor, if this cuts off your call there's your culprit. what FW you running? the latest is supposed to have addressed proximity issues
No....proximity sensor works fine.
There must be some other reason. As I sad the same problem was with mine HTC HD2 when i inslalled Android on it.
Htc Hd2 call problems
I am having the same problems too. it started bout two weeks ago and its very uncomfortable. sometimes i just don`t call because i knw it`ll cut of in about 30 sec. however there are some very rare times like yesterday when it didn`t cut off...could it be a radio issue?

Who knows... maybe. No one gives exact answer. I think it's android problem on HTC phones.

Before Desire HD I had HD2. HD2 worked great, with any problems. But when I installed android Nand rom on it, the phone had the same problem as my Desire Hd now. I tried different roms. As I reinstalled Windows mobile on HD2, it worked perfect again. That's what i'm talking about. So that could not be hardware problem.
This must be something about Android, or Android on HTC phones just do not wants to work with my Sim card correctly)))

I never had this problem (has been using HTC phones for almost 5 years now both WM based n Android based).
On dialer press *#*#4636#*#*, Go to phone information and check GSM Auto (prl) instead of WCDMA preferred and see if that helps.

It looks like I'll have to live with it)) Or maybe software update, when it will be availible for me, will fix it.

I assume that the drivers for the HD2 are not android native but some reverse engineered ones, so I would expect problems with it, in fact its a testament to the developers that it works at all.
There are some known issues with a minority of DHD's with certain builds, what FW are you currently running?, but I reiterate there is not a generic problem with android on HTC phones otherwise why would I and thousands of others continue to buy and use them without problems?

HTC One X Screen Problems

Hey guys, I have had my HTC One X for two months. The screen sometimes jitters and parts of the system ui blend into each other. It happens at random times and only lasts for a second and sometimes the screen takes a long time to wake and only the capacitive lights turn on. It happens in both apps and on the home screen. This was happening on stock rom and my phone wasnt rooted. I also rooted it and flashed a custom rom and i still had the problem. I also updated the OTA to the latest release but that didnt solve the problem. Anyone have an idea on how this problem can be fixed? Thanks.
Here is a video of the problem:youtube.com/watch?v=xtAliiqhMNQ

I don't think I can send it to HTC since i'm living in Lebanon. Do you think a local store could fix the problem or only HTC. Thanks.

[Q] Speaker problem

Hey guys, i'm a new ZL user.
I have problem, most of the time i receive a call, the speaker turns on by itself. Idk if my cheek did it, but i didnt experience anything like this before. I already turn off speaker voice enhncement in call setting as i thought that was the culprit, but it isn;t. The problem still there. Anyone encounter the same problem?

[Q] CM11 M9 -> Microphone Issues, Quality, Whatsapp

So I am running CM 11 M9 on my Htc one M8 and it works great, no crashes or lags or whatever, just one weird thing: when I try to make an Audiomessage on Whatsapp, Whatsapp crashes and when I call somebody and turn the Speaker on the other person doesn't hear me anymore.
I have that problem since the first htc one Nightly and I thought it would get fixed in the M Build but looks like it didn't
So my Question is: am I the only One with that problem? Does Anybody have a solution?
Thanks for your Help!:good:

I believe there is a fix for speakerphone. Go Into the CM11 thread and look at the last couple of pages. I believe there is a link to the fix.

NO sound from mic only when on speakerphone..

Lately, a lot of people who call me seem to have issues hearing me, claiming that my phone is breaking up on their end. At first I thought it was my case so I took that off, but people still have issues hearing me. If I put the call on speakerphone that seems to get rid of the issue but I don't want to put every phone call I get on speakerphone. I am just wondering of anyone else has this issue or should I try to get a replacement phone to try to solve the problem?
There is a lot of info of this on another dveices to and they have fixes

There is main mic bypass made for one plus one

Maybe someone can make this for H815???
