Hi
I have a problem for a few days. The story is that I installed Custom ROM and it stop asking for unlock code when I insert a new carrier sim card. Somebody told me to restore to Stock Firmware. I used "KDS Firmware Update" to push Stock Firmware from my PC but when the phone restart to install Stock Firmware, Custom Recovery Mode appear instead of Stock Recovery Mode. As the result, it failed to install.
I'm looking for a way to restore Stock Recovery Mode but I found nothing. Now, I'm asking for someone to tell me how to do it or give me the Stock Recovery Image zip for my LG Optimus G E973.
Thanks in advanced.

I Am using odin v3.0.7 and it works fine. Flashed latest firmware ANB6.
Open odin
Click PDA, then select your file to be flashed.
Wait for confirmation
Reboot your device to download mode (power button + volume down)
Press volume up to continue
Connect your device to PC ( you should see that your device was "added" in odin)
Then click start.
(Sorry for bad english)
Will this remove custom recovery as well? Im trying to keep that

Yes, also it will unroot your device if it is rooted.
OK well got tab back to stock and rooted again.
I loved having a custom rom but battery life was horrible , now with stock I'm back to 3 or 4 days of battery life . Which is awesome.
Does it no longer work? I've the correct drivers installed. I pulled the firmware straight from Sammobile. I flash through download mode, but after the restart, it just sits at "Samsung". That is with Kit Kat. With Lollipop firmware, I just get application and UI crashes on welcome screen.
You need to wipe data in recovery first.
This will solve both issues, the crash in lollipop and the downgrade to kitkat.

Well, all I've got available to me is download mode. So, I should try and get TWRP back onto it, wipe, then flash firmware via download mode? I'm coming from BlissPop, trying to bring it back to stock Kit Kat, so I can sell it. xD I tried flashing autoroot, but I don't think it works, as it only boots into download, not TWRP.
UPDATE: I totally forgot the device had it's only recovery with options. Lmao. Sorry. Thanks.
So I rooted my G3 and I flashed twrp with flashify so I could flash xposed ( did not flash a custom ROM, just xposed) I got an OTA update so I tried flashing my stock recovery using flashify but i just got an error and had to pull the battery to reboot. I know some of you will think its pointless to root and flash a custom recovery just to revert back to stock but can anybody help me get back my stock recovery so I can get the OTA update.
You need the flash whole stock ROM via FlashTool first.

You cannot flash anything from odin until your device able to boot into odin download mode.
If your device is rooted then you can download flashfire or flashify app ftom playstore and you can flash any custom rom or zip file and even firmware tar files without booting into downliad mode.
Try physically removing the battery then reinstall battery then hold Volume down, home, and power. See if you can get to download mode then..had the same problem and this worked for me
