Hi all,
My G3 device is being turned off after taking a picture while using the LG default camera app.
Issue started after updating my D855 to M version.
Does anyone else suffers from this issue or knows how to solve it?
Thanks,
Sagy.

I had that issue only when using a faulty aftermarket battery. Are you using the stock battery?

Thanks xlxcrossing for the quick reply.
Yes i'm not using stock battery but didn't have any issues with any version prior to M.
Knew that those Chinese batteries are to good to be true.

I was wondering if anyone had the problem with the Excalibur just powering off. I am having the issue with the stock rom from t-mobile. I have used other roms on the forum and I was wondering if anyone else had the issue.

Maybe it's a battery issue, have you checked that?

i had the same issue after i flashed mine, it was freezing lots also
Hello,
The problem is: my phone always FCses when I try to make a picture with flash on. I have the problem with Nik Project X 4.1 and with PACman v14.1, so I don't think it's the ROM. I also know that the problem lies not in the flash-module itself because using a torch-application the flash works just fine, also on extra-bright mode. Stroboscope works too so it can't be the duration of the flash.
I have to note that I once replaced my flash-cover for GPS-issues, and that I maybe damaged a cable down there. That still doesn't explain why it only doesn't work with pictures.
AH, I just tried using Camera Zoom FX on JB, and with that I have no problems. But I really like the HTC Camera app much more. Does anyone know something more about this problem?
Thanks in advance!

hey...i have the same issues...but if i put my device to charger, even 5 minutes...then it works a time...i thinks it's because low battery...if it will be a rom with a lower voltage when the flash occurs, i think it will be no problem
Putting in the charger doesn't help. Also, that doesn't explain why it only happens on stock camera-apps. I do think my battery isn't what it used to be ( it got exposed to a lot of heat,) but other ways of using the flashlight are working. It doesn't seem to be a hardware issue...

Is anybody facing Bluetooth issues with android lollipop builds? I have great battery drain, 15-20 % all the time... Problem arises when you have a paired device (BT car kit in my case). Although you are not connected to the device, BT maintains the device awake. I have found that the process StartObexPbapTransaction is allways running.
I have tried cloudy 2.0, Chupa 2.0 and 3.0 and 20C stock. All of them have the bug. I don't know of this is a Rom issue or if it's kernel our modem related.
Any help?
I have the same drain with Lollipop 20e and D855.
I have the phone paired with my car and Lg G watch.
Any fix?

Have you tried disabling that "StartObexPbapTransaction " process?

what is it?
How can I stop this process?
I have same high battery drain. Anybody found a solution?
I have this problem after pairing the G3 with my car. I have solved switching-off and on the G3 bluetooth after I have used my car. I have made a task with tasker in order to make all that automatically.

It seems I have the same problem. 15% battery on BT. D855 V20e.
Anyone tried to un-pair BT device and pair it again?
Same problem here, I'll try the Tasker workaround for now
Same problem
Same problem D855 with lollipop (both stock and chupachups rom). With kitkat the problem doesn't appear.
In addition, bluetooth streaming is unstable with some devices in both kitkat and lollipop.

Hi all. The only way I found to solve this problem is do not check the box "do not answer again" on the allow access to contacts dialog when pairing.
Now I have no battery drain. But I have to press "yes" button in the dialog when I want my new contacts to be synchronised. I can live with that as I don't add new contacts everyday.
Has been solved the problem with the new rom 20H?

Try the new Lollipop 20H firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089, according to users it solves all BT issues.

Seems it works. No Bluetooth issues on Robalm's 20H Rom.
Yep, 20h seems to solve bluetooth problems here too!
V20h solves for me too.
Really annoying that I had no OTA (had to use LG suite) and there was no mention of the problem in the changelog
Hi guys. My back camera has become pretty much unusable lately since most of the times it crashes any app using it. It must be a hardware issue since front camera is working fine. I tried clearing camera's app data etc like I saw in other posts online but it didn't work. I was thinking that this might have something to do with laser auto focus but I didn't find any way to disable it. Any ideas?

i think it may be your Rom ... did u upgrade your Rom ?? becoz my camera work on Kiatakt 4.4.2 and when i upgrade to v6.0 then it crash ...
I have stock 6.0 too but I not sure whether the problems started when I upgraded to MM. Did anyone else get camera issues when they upgraded?

You can try factory resetting your phone. I know it's a pain, but I've heard for some this fixes issues with the marshmallow update. It might be worth trying that first before you assume it's a hardware issue.
I have also camera problems after upgrade to MM. First with camera app crashes and now the back camera is not detected; when i open camera app, it opens front camera and its not possible to choose back camera. Also flash app doesn't work. I already sent my G3 twice for service repair but problem was not solved.. i will try to downgrade to 5.0 and if the problem persists, will send again phone for repair

I'm experiencing your same issue right now. Rear camera suddenly seems not to exist. Phone got no hurst, no strange mods or tweaks. Completely random. Please tell me if something changes in your case. Could you tell me how much did repair service cost?

My LG now is working well! I didn't pay nothing because warranty is still active... but a new motherboard is not cheap, i suppose

Maybe this will help. I'm not sure what you'll do with them though. https://developers.google.com/android/drivers
