Hello, I recently unlocked my device via Bump, but unfurtunately, I cant get to my recovery via hardware keys (but I can via adb and app). Can somebody help me please?
Edit: I tried sort of methods, volume down+ power then release then press again.
Try holding both the volume down and power at the same time without releasing the power button. That's how mine is.
Well i had a G2 and it was hold the power + volume down until you saw the LG Logo then release them for a second then re hold the power + volume down again. i have a Verizon lg g3 or the VS985 model and kept trying that over and over after i bumped my G3, and after trying for like 10 mins i figured out that it was different all i have to do on my vs985 is keep holding power + volume down until the white screen comes on where you select factory reset to gwt in to TWRP
Still no luck guys, what is wrong with my unit .

Power, volume up and home. Once the LG flashes and disappears let go of the buttons and you will in recovery (if you rooted and put a recovery on the phone).
I am not a total noob. I have always done my research and I am well versed with the procedures but this has me stumped. About six months before I had installed Omega ROM (told you i wasn't a noob) and things were fine and dandy. I was running today and bam! my phone just enters into a bootloop (lost my data on endomondo too). But hey! I am an expert right? or so i think to myself and I try getting into the recovery mode / download mode. I press the volume down, power and home button. The warning comes up and all that i have to do now is to press the volume up key right? wrong!! Inspite of pressing the volume up key the bootloop continues. I dont know what i am doing wrong. I am sure it is a really silly thing but i am not able to figure it out myself. I read the posts and all of them deal with other issues. Can someone help me?
Can someone check this up for me? Switch off your phone and try going into the recovery mode by pressing only the vol. down button and the home button pressed together. If it does not show the warning screen prior to the recovery mode then it would mean that my power button is malfunctioning. It would take just two minutes of your time. Please post your results here. Please.
If you press just the volume down and home button not a lot happens not the warning screen anyway. When I boot into recovery I have to wait for the Samsung logo to appear twice or it just reboots. Might be worth pressing all 3 buttons and wait for the 3rd restart before letting go
Edit
It's volume up home and power for recovery if you get download mode and volume up the phone just reboots hence why you go back to bootloop

The problem is solved. It turned out that it was not a boot loop after all. The power button got pressed and was stuck in that state thus causing repeated reboots. It was by pressing the volume down and home button without pressing the power button that i figured out that the power button was stuck. So i took out the screws and adjusted the band slightly and now alls well.
Hello everybody.
I've installed bump on my Korean G3 (F400L) recently. But i can't get into recovery using back buttons.
From the app (Flashify) through "Reboot into recovery" everything is ok.
But when i try to boot using volume button, it doesnt work. It boots into safe mode.
I've tried:
- Volume down + Power, on LG logo release and press again Power;
- Volume down + Power, on LG logo release and press again Volume down;
- Volume down + Power, on LG logo release and press again Both;
- Volume down + Power, keep pressing;
And every time it boots into safe mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Same here on the F400K, I know somebody else with F400K that also can't go into recovery while booting. While the phone is booted I can boot into recovery but the problem is that if I get a bootloop I can't acces recovery
I hope there will be a fix
I have the t-mobile LG G$ (H811) and can't use the hardware keys to reboot into recovery.
I have CM13 and TWRP installed (previously had CM12.1/TWRP with the same issue).
I can use software to reboot into recovery, but not the hardware method.
I have tried all the combinations I can find, basically consisting of:
-turning on and pressing the power + volume down or power + volume down + volume up
-releasing power for 1 second when the lg logo comes up
-pressing the power again
No matter what I try, the phone continues to boot as normal.
I can easily get into download mode though
Is there any way to reboot from download into recovery?
I had a problem with a bad CM flash that bootlooped (not the bad lg bootloop problem) - and my only way out was to re-flash stock and go from there - it was a time consuming pain. I am just trying to figure out some way of booting into TWRP recovery - I can't seem to get the recommended keypress sequence to work.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Real hard, but I finally got it to work. It is all a matter of timing. Power button needs to be released (and pressed) before the unlocked bootloader message comes on, but not too soon.
Even knowing that, I still only get it right 50% of the time.

I found this sequence to work best for me.
First hold volume down then press power down
When the logo shows up, release power and then press again.
Guys, how do you factory reset your F500 with buttons, from recovery? After update to Nougat even LG method do not work. It says to press volume up and power firstly which I've never read such method before
I only managed F500 either to show IMEI info or simply boot to home screen, can't factory reset
From off it should be hold vol- & power. When LG screen comes up, let go of power for 1 second and press again (keeping vol- pressed whole time). Keep these held and you should get to factory reset option. then use vol+ & vol- to move up and down and power to select.
What device model do you have?
