Hi,
I have read the sites and watched the youtube videos about how to use TowelRoot to root the Samsung S5 AT&T SM-G900A vision 4.4.2. I am sorry to say, none of them work. Most of the time just say "unsuppored" or just lock up and does nothing when "make it rain". I would love some help as I want to use Tracker to toggle location services on/off. Please help.

so in my brief time with the galaxy s5, I saw how Samsung decided to remove lock screen widgets which irked me. I see they're continuing their antics with the tab s series.
this makes things like Google music and Netflix useless when using chromecast etc because it removes the easy way to just pause and skip via the lockscreen.
I installed xposed and installed a Galaxy S5 mod that was supposed to enable lock screen widgets again, which I'm sure it did for the s5 users but it doesn't work on the tab.
does anyone have any idea or solution as to the best way to do this? there has to be a way.

Same here, have you found a work around? I mean just listening to music makes it harder to just pause and restart. Always need to make pattern, very annoying!

Lockscreen Widgets for rooted Users
Guys, do we have a solution in the meantime or still have to install an alternate launcher ? I am on SkyHigh ROM 4.4.2. and want to stay there for the next months...
I thought @THEDEVIOUS1 (he did it on his ROM) and maybe @Goldie (he did it on the s5 I think) might have a solution for us ?

I just managed to root my tablet, the LTE or 4G model, SM-P605 and only just realized that i don't have lock screen widgets or can get them. I had a look around on google and its is saying that it is in the security setting but i cannot find it. Can someone please help me out as i really enjoyed this on my Tab 8.0 and was hoping to have it on this tablet. Thanks
I try to use Samsung Gear2 with HTC One M8.
Gear Manager APK can install on M8. Notification, Clock and Wallpaper can works fine.
But Watch Styler and S Health need to install by Samsung App to be appeared correctly on Gear Manager.
I found that some one share Samsung Zip to install by recovery.

Currently, My M8 still unroot, locked. Anyone have experience on install Samsung App/Watch Styler/S Health on M8?

I dont want to come off as snobby but I dont think you will find many people with the M8 installing Samsung bloat on their phones . All that stuff is one of the reasons my affair with the S4 lasted 4 months and I opted to pay the 300 termination fee to get away from it (not to mention the M8 was just released!!)
Well, coming over from the Captivate Glide forums, I'd like to say that I'm enjoying most of the changes done over the years but there's a few negatives I've noticed.
I bought my Note II on swappa and it was on 4.1.1. I tried updating over Kies, and recovery gave me a red warning saying "unsupported version." After crying and fighting Kies and Odin, I finally got 4.4.2 stock from http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2-att/development/rom-att-i317-ucucnj1-mj4-stock-odex-t2973448 and with that being stable for me, I started working on getting all my apps.

Hello.
I'm rather new to the scene, so please forgive me if this is not the place to post about this.
I am using an LG g3 with Android 5.0 rooted and I am the owner of a Gear 2.
Unfortunately, I am unable to install any new apps on my watch (thanks Tizen) even though I managed to get the Samsung Gear manager to work just fine.
Is there any way to get a working version of the app store to install?
I have read a few posts where people where achieving mixed successes by editing their build props, but seeing as I am rather reluctant to kill my phone I thought I'd throw in the towel and ask for some advice before doing something silly.
