Fido phone call and text messaging works fine. But data does not work. Any suggestions? I even unlocked the phone just incase.

Just set your APN right. Rogers and Fido are supposed to be the same network...

Anyone have this phone and is using the device here in the US? I bought mine in the Philippines and now I'm back in the US. When I try to use my AT&T SIM card, the data is not working (making/receiving calls works). What I noticed is that I don't see a default APN appearing on the settings. I manually added APN I copied from my Nexus 4, but still no go. It does work with my T-Mobile SIM, and there are actually several default APN appearing on the settings.

I have a rooted and unlocked t mobile S4 which I usually use in the Dominican republic with a Claro sim card and works well on 3g since Claro doesn't have 4g LTE. I am now in NYC and popped in my mom's att sim card which has a data plan and I have always used it every time I travel to the states on my previous phones (last one was an iphone4s) and it would work fine with the data and everything. Now on the S4 I'm getting voice service but no data. I went to att and they say it's the device. I had the infamous rom installed and I thought maybe it was that so I changed to darthstalker x rom and still have the same problem. I even went to T-Mobile to see if I could get a prepaid sim with data and the phone was not able to register in the network. With my Claro sim card I'm getting 3g from att but the roaming charges are going to kill me!! Any recommendations??

Most likely you need to find the proper APN (access point names) settings from
your mom's service provider (ATT).
Once you find the proper APN you need to edit the APN settings in your phone.
To edit the APN settings in your phone you navigate to:
Settings>Connections>More networks>Mobile networks>Access point names
and change the access point names so it's the same as your mom's phone.
OR you can call the local ATT store in NY and get the needed information.

I just purchased an international G3 to be on Canadian Bell Network. Phone calls, text works work but it will not connect to mobile data. I put in Bell APN and it still will not work. Need help
So I bought my wife this phone from amazon and activated service with straight talk. I cannot get LTE or mms to work. Have tried hidden menu and various APN settings. All I can get is hspa. Is root needed?

Hi All, recently I purchased LG G3 locked to Rogers, after purchasing online unlocking code, phone was unlocked and my Virgin Sim card start working with voice and text service
but when I tried internet, my data service wouldn't come on, so I borrow my co-workers rogers Sim and internet service was working fine,....any idea what went wrong?
