Bought this 3-in-1 from eBay and it works fine with my friend's ZL and my Z1 Compact. The lens simply clips on to the phone and you can position it to sit right over the phone's lens. The wide lens and fish-eye lens are kind of crappy (blurry images and round haze). The macro lens has a round haze as well, but focus is really good in the centre when you get very close to an object.

its come to my attention that there's a plastic piece covering the hinge on the back of the phone ?? is this really the case ?? a user on another forum says that he got back his phone without that covering, while i've never had that piece to begin with. reason i'm asking is because i'm not sure whether not having that covering (if its really supposed to be there) could compromise the durability of the hinge in the long run
would really appreciate it if somebody could post pics of their phone at a similar angle so i could check and compare and maybe use it at the service centre in case they try any funny business.
here's a picture of my phone:

and the other guy's phone. the hinge in question is marked with a red box:
*will post the other picture once i get permission*
I looked at mine and do not see any plastic covering my hinges. I will take a picture and upload it later when I have my camera.
thanks dude.
bump up!!
Here is the photo of my phone. It is a T-Mobile USA Touch Pro 2.
Here is a closer view
Ok, so the the title says most of the problem.
Basically, when I got my wildfire a while back I was quite impressed with the camera, managing to take some fairly nice high quality shots.
BUT!
Ever since I rooted my phone and installed CM7.1.0.1, the camera quality has become "washy". This has not been a problem until now, as I have not had to use my camera. But yesterday I did, and the results were.... poor.
So, what I was wondering is whether or not this camera issue is due to a Hardware fault, or a software fault... should I reflash CM7.1.0.1?
Thanks in advanced.
EDIT: I will try track down some old photo's and give you a comparison of what has happened to quality.
there are some camera upgrades around that i have read but cannot find anymore if anyone could provide some links that would be much appriciated as i have a poor camera too. very dark and dull with not much definition or coulor and mainly out of focus.
and no i'm not just crap at taking photos lol i think.....

From the looks of it, I had a similar problem.
Try polishing the camera with some sort of alcohol or something similar, because the lens has some kind of protective layer and might get scratched over time.
So try to remove it, it worked for me
to anyone has the incipio dual pro for the HTC ONE how do your pictures comes out if the flash is fired?

Wow I didnt know about that. Not good and thanks for the heads up
the whole GALAXY to NOTE about...counting down from 10 to 1.
I had the same problem with my Nexus 4. I would take shots and wonder why the picture always came out yellowish with flash. Turns out my finger was too close to the LED lol

I walked around my house all morning, taking flash pictures in the dark with and without the case and never saw any difference between the two images. When I can, I'll post some of my comparisons, but I'm starting to think my house might just be yellow...
Hi guys,
I'm not sure if I'm the only one having this problem, but when my phone switches from the main photo sensor to the super macro, there is a clear difference. There is a shift and the colors are not the same.
Here a video to show the problem :/

Same moment, same distance but two photos very different :
the first one is the main camera, and second one is the super macro. The switch is not natural

It's a different camera on the phone isn't it? The switch would be expected. The phone isn't doing everything with just one camera/lens.

This is correct. Super macro mode uses the ultra wide camera. Every 'zoom level' in super macro mode just crops image from the ultra wide camera.
The difference would not be too noticeable? Especially in terms of colors and angle!
Im interested in buying this phone so while researching about features i noticed two things:
1.
On the official Xiaomi website it doesn't say that the phone have barometer and everywhere else it says it has;
2.
In some videos featuring the camera module it says that the forth empty camera slot is ToF 3D sensor
(I want to know is it only for show or maybe it has some other sensor?)
If someone can test if the phone have both of this features (or doesn't have) it will be greatly appreciated
Thanks and sorry if i wasted your time

As for #1 im not sure. Why would anyone need barometer sensor anyway... But it's possible that it has it
As for #2, it has some chip under that part, so it very well could be that sensor...
Thanks for the answer, upon further research including here i found that there is no barometer sensor, now if only could someone answer what is that sensor under the fourth "camera" hole.
(My dilemma is if should go for this phone or F2 pro)

It's not camera, its light sensor hole.
