I have tried to remove that kind of cards from the lockscreen (even just getting rid of that Airplane mode one is enough), but couldn't find anything.
Airplane mode card
Anyone knows of some way, like an xposed module or something?

I've this issue where a sim card with a gear icon labeled as 'ZONE' is present at all times in the notification bar which unfortunately cannot be dismissed. Carrier is Videotron and from what I understand, all their NG's have this issue. I've dug around and have discovered that it's related to the SIM Toolkit APK and can be removed by rooting and deleting or freezing STK.APK. Force stopping is temporary as the APK eventually gets re-launched.
I've been reluctant to do the above, was resigned to tolerate it and then finally stumbled on a way to get rid of the notification. Note that it's a hack and has to be redone following a reboot or when turning the phone on, however, I like it for the reason that rooting and deleting or freezing the APK is not required:
- Put phone in Airplane mode
- Pull down the notification blind
- Long press on the Zone notification - APP INFO button will appear below the notification
- Hit the APP INFO button that appeared
- SIM TOOLKIT app info page will appear
- FORCE STOP the SIM Toolkit
- Turn Airplane mode off
And the notification is gone and will not reappear until the phone is rebooted. Perhaps a flag is not set when force stoping the APK in airplane mode, and consequently, the APK is not re-launched. Just a guess.
This is working for me and would appreciate if anyone else could confirm that this is a workable hack for GN's that have this issue. About my phone, I flashed stock YAKJU, rec'd OTA JB update, bootloader is unlocked, phone is NOT rooted.

Zone remover
FYI
This app removes the zone icon (sim card) from the notification bar of the phone. This is a common situation for customer of Videotron to determinate if the customer is in his Zone or not.

Hi there,
I'd like to leave NFC turned on but the icon is seriously annoying me. Is there any way to turn it off? I tried solutions found for other devices but the config options described there (like a flag in build.prop) do not exist on the G3 as far as I can see.
Also, I know that Xposed might be able to do it but I want to continue using ART, so that's not an option.
TIA

I've recently purchased a Verizon WIreless LG G3 (VS985W), and noticed the "Guest Mode" feature.
I've turned on guest mode and set the apps I wish to allow in guest mode, and then set a pattern for guest mode.
It worked the first few times I used it, but now when I enter the pattern for guest mode, it deducts one of my pattern attempts and remains locked. I've tried changing lock types (knock code, pattern, etc.), and turning it on and back off. Nothing has fixed it yet.
I can't think of what else to try. It's just like the feature doesn't work at all.
I've searched the internet over and over for an answer, and all I get is instructions for use, and no troubleshooting.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a certain app that I need to allow access to for it to work?
I'm somewhat versed in the area of computer science, so if the solution is somewhat complicated, throw it out there.
Thanks!
Is there a way (without root) to remove annoying "airplane mode" notification card from lockscreen? Or any other way to disable the radio without aiplane mode? Thank you.
I'm wondering this too. I find the Airplane Mode notification really annoying and want to disable it, as I'm permanently in Airplane Mode to disable the annoying No SIM card notification (I don't have and don't want a SIM for my Tab). Thanks!

You could switch lockscreens. There are dozens of good lockscreens on the play store
Install a T800 kernel. This will disable mobile communications, works fine on my SM-T805.
Hi there,
i am facing a curious problem and i am kind of lost. Usually i (manually) set my phone on airplane mode during the night and thus was quite surprised when it kept vibrating because i got messages. So i took a look and was dumbfounded, when the quickSetting-buttons for airplane mode was highlighted (airplane mode active) and the ones for WLAN and MobileData were grey (deactivated). Sometimes, there were arrows blinking beside the mobile-data-button as if up-/downloading. After that i tried calling someone and it did work, too.
How is this possible? How can i get back my airplane mode?
I found a way to deactivate MobileData by going to the *#*#4636#*#* menu and deactivating "Mobile Radio Power" in the "Phone Information" tab, i'm not sure if it should be activated by default, but it is on my phone. If i deactivate this option MobileData gets deactivated, but it stays deactivated even when i activate MobileData in the QuickSettings.
I run LineageOS 18.1 (Android11) 2021-03-21
I have Tasker installed and tried to get it to be able to change to airplane mode and back, but i wasn't able to make it work yet.
So... Any Ideas? Help is much appreciated.
Kind regards,

Try the "SystemUI Tuner" application from the "Zachary Wander" developer on google play.
Just yesterday I took it off for the first time and noticed the option to control the airplane mode. It was an option whether to turn off the sim card or not in airplane mode.
