I hv a n unlocked LG Optimus g pro i got it from ebay.....
I upgraded it to kitkat and removed carrier name......but now whenever i check my sim balance it plays a violin type sound in the background...
I dnt knw hw to stop it ?
Its a long tone n never stop untill i close the dialogue appearing on the screen
can anybody help ??

Hey I've got an Lg optimus g E975 bought from Vodafone Spain.And update it to v10G.So far so good but from a while i've noticed the ringtone from a caller or a sms notification rings loud ot low randomly..i've entered setting sound etc and set them to max level.But sometimes the ringtone/notif rings okey, but otherwise ring low sometimes a barrely hear the call.Is this a bug from V10G?I've read that V10H Open europe is out on market but i can't find the firmware to download.
PS:I recently permanently unlocked it from a service provider,could this be the problem?(i mention that i tried to enter download mode and do a recovery update and still nothing)

If you mean the Settings->Sound->Wise ringtone ,that is not checked..
Update...I've noticed that sometimes I dont get the notification sounds..Today for ex. I've got 4 sms and no notification sound,but after a restart the notification sounds start to ring like nothing has happen.
What should i do?help please

I did that already and today I what to flash v10H for romania to see what happens.
I was wondering what features people have found missing from the T-Mobile LG G3 that they had previously on the LG G2 or that they have seen on other carrier versions of the LG G3.
What I've noticed that I really really miss, is the "Wireless Transfer".. That was so awesome being able to put files on my wives phone without having to plug in her phone... Also was super fast over wireless N! I hope they bring that back.
The 3d audio recording or whatever that was... I don't miss it cause it didn't work all that great and put lots of holes in your phone for liquids to get inside.. But non-the-less, it's gone.
I've read that on the AT&T variant of the LG G3 that you can not only set custom ringtones for each person in your contacts but you can also set custom notifications.. People on the LG forums were saying they really want that feature back.
Maybe some of you out there have noticed other things missing that you loved about your LG G2, and maybe LG will read this and put things back in that we loved to use.
My girlfriend's AT&T phone is able to have swipe unlock appear before her screen's secure unlock does which I wish mine could do that way my screen still has a lock screen when turning on even if the delayed secure lock hasn't kicked in.

I can set custom ringtones for each person on my T-Mobile version. I don't see anything about custom notifications, other than custom LED notifications.

I have a G3 D852 (and before I had G2, 2X). I have a question. My phone is locked with Knock Code. During calls (incoming or outgoing) screen keeps unlocked. That means that someone that uses the phone to make a call or if I oass the phone to somekne to speak, will have access to everything.
I had the same issue with all LG models using Stock Based ROMS.
Right now I'm using Cloudy Lollipop. This was an issue for me since 2.3 Gingerbread with Optimus 2X. I have used every way of screen lock security (pin, password, pattern) but result is the same, phone is unlocked during calls.
Any solution? Am I missing something? I went through all settings but haven't found anything.

The process com.android.settings stopped and cannot configure home touch buttons on my lg g4s due to the use of g2 xposed app.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Use exposed uninstaller and then disable the module. on a further note dont use things that aint for your phone. U might be able to use safe mode if g4 supports safe mode im not sure yet new to g4 not g series
