I will test others official builds never boot or in eternal logo boot
Gonna flash this 2nite n test it!!
sent from my BrokenS3 v1.3
Same problem "eternal" logo to boot
Same here I am trying to get it to boot and so far 45 minutes on the boot logo and no love.
I will pass along these reports to the AOKP team if anyone cares to grab logs. Simply saying it doesn't work doesn't help.
I got it to boot this morning but no data connection. Couldn't read my sim either

Adb logcat *should* be available even with a bootloop unless the system can't even make it that far.
Soon as I can get to my computer I will give it a shot.

Right on. I should not need to say this but please post the logs (if you can get them) on pastebin or similar instead of pasting them directly here.

These are built daily from stock AOKP source, thus are pure AOKP bleeding edge goodness.
Bah can't get a log to help out sorry. Guess I need to wait a build or 2 and try again.
Today's build should be fixed as we identified two possible areas where it could be broken based on logs we received.

info
all credit goes to @tdm for bringing our device official. i started building this for myself and reached out to the AOKP team to see what it would take to bring us official...and to my surprise @tdm said he was already working on it...which is good because he is a real dev!
i offered to maintain the thread and be the point person here. which is good, because i'm here all the time anyway
as far as GAPPS, i always use BANKS' minimal, found here. note that with AOKP, you need to flash GAPPS when you update nightlies. you can still dirty flash, just flash GAPPS right after ROM. otherwise your google account won't be there.
right now, it looks like "nightlies" are every couple weeks. enjoy!

Yes I've been maintaining this for a few weeks. I'm just not really into forum threads anymore (too many forums and too many devices). Unfortunately I forgot to get it added to the devices page...

Try flashing any cm based kernel like Lean, BMS that should resolve the bootloop problem. AOKP kernel since last 2 months is cranky..

Didn't work for me, I tried pretty much every non-stock kernel available to us and still got a boot loop.
I was able to get past boot on task650s aokp ROM only once with quantum kernel. Tried again with it to see if I could replicate the successful boot and it boot looped again. If someone can advise me on how to record a logcat during a bootloop, that'd be great. My guess is that there's an issue with our latest boot loader and aokp (NE4)

APN
When I installed the ROM it did not recognize my SIM Card. Then I pulled it out and cleaned it it still didn't see it. After that I went into APNs and saw that there are none. Is this a problem on my part or is it something in the ROM? I did do a full wipe on this and am on the ucuemjb kernel from at&t if that helps.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I even tried to manually add the apn but that didn't save it.

Then what's the point. 90% of the att s4 out there are boot loader locked therefore having to be safe strapped. Oh and just and FYI safestrap is twrp based. I would try it but need my phone for work so if someone does try it I'd like to know if it works and if I should try it

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the unified cm kernel works for i9505, jfltecan, jfltetmo , jfltexx, jflyevzw, as well as the Canadian 1337m variant. Perhaps the op will be open to doing a ss version or allowing another dev to work on one.
I'm one of the i337 owners on MDL. Pretty stoked to see a new AOKP. Thanks @DrewWalton!

If someone wants to do a safestrap version I don't see a problem with that. We only build from official sources (and we are not official AOKP devs).
Hi. Everything seems to be working well so far except automatic date and time. It keeps setting the time 3 hours ahead of where it should be in this time zone (Atlantic). Installed twice. Clean install. Happened both times.

"Work" means the rom boots up... Its not fully FUNCTIONAL but it works. I'm looking forward to maybe a safestrap port because us VZW people can flash AT&T Roms and flash some modules and APNs (which I lost link for)

Okay thanks. I will try to fix it.
Any log will be welcomed.
Ill try it later today and report back. Perhaps you should add a link to the suggested gapps...I'm assuming the same one recommended for cm12.1.
For those testing, here's how to generate a kernel log after a random reboot: http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com/2014/02/how-to-generate-kernel-log-after-random.html

Is the sound from speakers still broken in this ROM?
Good to see more development going on for the Idol 3! Life is slowly but surely being brought to this community! Thanks given!
Edit: Getting late for me tonight, but I'll try to give it a whirl on the 6045i tomorrow evening and report back.

LS980 and VS980 variants of LG G2 don't have official cm support anymore, so I decided to compile pure cyanogenmod for both variants[LS/VS980].
Everyone knows what is cyanogenmod, if not, please visit the official thread for all questions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/orig-development/rom-official-cyanogenmod-13-lg-g2-t3264508
Please don't try this rom unless you know how to deal with bootstacks, use TWRP etc...
Requirements to install:
- Blastagator's TWRP
- Hybrid or LP Bump Bootstack
- Opengapps is recommended: http://opengapps.org
Known bugs:
- Same as cm13

when is it fixed? I built ls980 build on 19.6.2016 from latest cm source. If it was fixed before 19jun, then it must be fixed in ls980 build.
By the way, I am trying to build this rom for vs980 right now, I will share with you If I manage to build
VS980 build is up
[vs980]
The only bug I found is that root access seems to be broken, flashing supersu causes bootloop.
