Seems like I get a bootloop with any AOKP rom; Task650's, these nightlies, etc.

I will pass along these reports to the AOKP team if anyone cares to grab logcat logs.

I will attempt to grab one tomorrow.

Try flashing any cm based kernel like Lean, BMS that should resolve the bootloop problem. AOKP kernel since last 2 months is cranky..

Didn't work for me, I tried pretty much every non-stock kernel available to us and still got a boot loop.

I was able to get past boot on task650s aokp ROM only once with quantum kernel. Tried again with it to see if I could replicate the successful boot and it boot looped again. If someone can advise me on how to record a logcat during a bootloop, that'd be great. My guess is that there's an issue with our latest boot loader and aokp (NE4)

I am on mjb an unable to pass the boot, but have not tried a different kernel.
Have now tried quantum and it booted, but only once. On next boot it bootlooped

APN
When I installed the ROM it did not recognize my SIM Card. Then I pulled it out and cleaned it it still didn't see it. After that I went into APNs and saw that there are none. Is this a problem on my part or is it something in the ROM? I did do a full wipe on this and am on the ucuemjb kernel from at&t if that helps.

Edit: I even tried to manually add the apn but that didn't save it.

What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This zip includes an addon.d script, so the app is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this zip should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.

No idea. If it's a Nexus 4, and based on AOSP, I see no reason it shouldn't work. Let me know if it works.

Works on E.L.E. ROM

This appears to be built into the latest builds of cm, as well. No flash required. Does anyone know if it is functional?

Using PAEK 5 kernel as stock so thank @ayysir

In my personal experience of using the rom for 2 hours, the only bug I've found is sometimes apps that request root (only seen it happen in titanium backup) will lag the phone until you reboot.

I haven't tried flashing a rom since updating my stock VS980 from 11a to 12b. Read somewhere that the kernel in this doesn't work with the 12b update. Any info about this?

The kernel in this shouldn't really have anything to do with it. When you flash a ROM its going to format the old system and overwrite whatever is there anyway. The only thing the ROM would use would be the modem/baseband. Me personally, I bought mine with the 11a firmware. Been running AOSP ROMs since I've had it. I flashed the 12b radio and works just fine with this ROM. Only thing is instead of a 3G icon, there's a R icon. Even though I'm not roaming. I believe that's being looked at..

I think it's the aboot image causing problems. Is that overwritten?

They haven't even popped up yet on Gerrit, not that I've seen anyway. I think most stuff is being redone from scratch so it may be a little bit. Won't be long though considering how much of the team is working on it now.

Wow! Just flashed this rom and, well,, wow! Everything is running perfect so far and this rom has just about every single feature possible from the other roms. Perfectly smooth.
Only question I have (and it maybe a stupid question cause I might just be missing something) Is it possible to turn off the text in the drawer that says "Tap To Activate Halo"? I activated Halo through settings and it runs perfectly but the text is still there. If I click the text it just closes the drawer but is still there when I open it again. Minor little annoyance but other then that perfect!

This ROM have some great stuff....good job :thumbup:

Having some issues with phone getting extremely hot and rebooting. Tried original kernel, bms, dkp, and quantum. No idea, what it is.. Doesn't want to go into deep sleep.

Update is very smooth. Only issue I'm running into is, home launcher doesn't stick. Always have to pick which launcher on reboot. Clicking always doesn't keep persistent setting.

I don't have this issue, but I have my chosen launcher selected in home in settings. You can try that or uninstall the launchers you don't use if you only use one.

This a known bug or problem with AOKP on d2lte to my knowledge others models work so say not work is not the same as "still boot on logo"?

How can I get a log if it never leaves the boot logo? Don't know if it matters but its a t999l

Adb logcat *should* be available even with a bootloop unless the system can't even make it that far.

Soon as I can get to my computer I will give it a shot.

These are built daily from stock AOKP source, thus are pure AOKP bleeding edge goodness.

Bah can't get a log to help out sorry. Guess I need to wait a build or 2 and try again.

Today's build should be fixed as we identified two possible areas where it could be broken based on logs we received.
