Hello Everyone,
This is not something that I have created, but it is in fact something that I have checked myself and it does work successfully. I am running it now.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/themes-apps/4x5-touchwiz-home-t2910243
The only complaint I have is now that I have 5x5 on TW home screen, the widgets that I have on a few pages are made for 4x4 and I cannot resize it, nor center it. Anyone know of any tricks to force a resize or set a permanent resize for each widget?
And yes, I do now that some widgets have the ability to be resized, but not all, so this is one of the ones that is not resizable lol
Ideally, I'd like to see a 4x5 option so that the widgets could be centered, but we still have 5 rows. Just my 2 cents.

anyone seen or know of a deodexed 5x6 or 5x7 layout to flash ?
why not just use a custom launcher like Nova? It gives all these options plus lots more.

NOVA completely changes the stock weather widget if you use the S5 weather widget and it dont let u use the calendar widget like its supposed to. This is the main and only thing i dislike about Nova.

I agree what about making a 5x6 custom launcher for stock touch wiz that will fit the stick weather widget? Is that possible

Is there any way to get the widget to work right with a different launcher? I'm using lancherpro and it will resize the widget but the widget will not show all the info it should.
same problem.....
Hold on, trying with ADW launcher.
Edit: it seems that it has been integrated in TouchWiz. When you manually extend it vertically in TW you'll see the next days forecast, which doesn't appear in ADW Ex launcher. So you can only have it in the original 2x1 format if you us another launcher than TW.

Just bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the homescreen has 4x4 icons only!!!?? What they thinking !!?? On such a large screen a 4x4 icon only!!!??
I know you can add another launcher, but then you loose functionality like pop-up notes when you pull out the pen, probably multi-screen too etc.
This really SUCKS!!
Is there some Touchwiz setting for this?//
Well i can say multiscreen works perfectly with the Nova launcher, i've had that launcher on the Note 2 since i bought it, and it runs perfectly...
Haven't noticed any problems with the pen or system using Nova, though i'll admit that it doesn't pop up with Notes when you take the pen out, not a massive compremise for having a better launcher though, haven't tried using it with ADW or any other launcher though

Thanks but don't you think this needs to be rectified by Samsung? What must have been their logic behind this ridiculous 4x4 icons on the Homescreen?
I am using the Nova launcher too. But it just bugs me that I cant use all the functionality with my phone.
There was already a topic about this subject!

The original note has 5x5... but u cant resize third party widgets so they look horrible. . So I guess 4x4 is better

Instead of complaining, have patience. These things have a way of getting fixed.

Use Nova Launcher.
I can't find the way to put a lock screen widget, is it not possible?
In case it matters, I'm trying to put the Chronus widget there...
TouchWiz doesn't have the ability to use lockscreen widgets anymore, the option was taken away with the S5.

I was on a Touchwiz KK rom with my Note 2 that could have lockscreen widgets, I just wrongly assumed it could be possible in Stock TW too
I switched to Google Now Launcher and for the life of me I can't find the Weather + Pedometer widget to add to my homescreen. Is it baked into a TW only feature?
Touchwiz widgets will not work in another launcher.

Which is why I always scratch my head when people buy a Samsung device and run a third party launcher. The Touchwiz widgets are awesome imo.

All the touchwiz widgets work with apex launcher. To add them I have to make 5x5 columns and rows, or it will say no more room on homescreen.

Seriously doubt all of them work... can you add a action memo to your home screen as a widget? Does it give you the thumbtack to pin them?
I have several samsung widgets working on Nova, specifically S-Note, but the s-planner widget doesn't even show up in the list of widgets that can be placed.

I also use Apex and can use most of the Samsung widgets including pedometer and S-Memo widgets.
Hey Zoops...I have a question; I created some Zooper widgets and I have a minor problem and dont know what the work around is.
The widgets I created or themed have to be resized to fit my screen, and when I resize them it makes the Borders/Placeholder bigger than the actual widget and so what happens is that once I get them on my screen I have to send some"To the back" or Bring some of them " to the front" in order to be able to use them as created ( tap actions etc). Is there a way to fix this?
I am running NOTE 4 rooted, Nova Launcher prime, Zooper Pro. I tried changing the grid size in Nova launcher but then stuff got really funky...haha..Thanks so much!!!

Have you try "Scaling" the widget inside Zooper?

Thanks for the reply, I have tried Scaling them and it does help, I think the problem lies when I used APP Dpi in Xposed and choose a "finer" DPI.... I can get it where it looks good in Zooper by scaling, but then when it actually shows on the screen I still have to "resize" and it just doesnt fit well so I get a lot of wasted screen real estate...I noticed in Nova launcher that If I select disable padding it helps with other widgets, but the long press on my zooper widgets I dont get the option. If I did I would be golden.
