Hi guys,
For my work (I work as a web developer) we are currently looking into buying some android devices for testing purposes. One of my friends has a Xperia Arc laying around, and I'm trying to find out wether it's at all possible to multiboot into different ROMS with this device. I can't seem to find anything related around here, but it's been a while since I was into Android ROMs and was wondering if any of you could point me in the right direction
Thanks in advance, and kind regards,

Hi Guys,
I've had a quick search and i cant seem to find an answer for this...
What's everyones opinion on the chances of the desire sharing roms with the N1 in a similar way to how the 32a\b share roms currently?

common sense would say that if a rom taken from the desire can be ported to the n1, then a rom can be taken from the n1 and ported to the desire...
obviously this is a very simple if...then with quite a few dependencies
i want list for sony ericsson xperia arc s , iv also noticed there isnt a seperate device forum for the arc s
And I want Pamela Anderson, but is not possible))I'm joking, you can check roms on the Xperia android development.
Arc and arc s are practicaly same phones so i think that roms are also compatible with both of them.Cheers
thanks
your humour acctaully highlighted my day as its rare on the xda forums , can you defiantly confirm that xperia arc and xperia arc s share compatibility and do you know anyone who knows how to help me build a custom rom as im very new and have no skills in coding

hey
humorus joke i take it
I dont think anyone here will have the time to walk you through building a custom rom. A lot of work goes into making them stable etc and they will have Roms they are working on themselves. I think it is a bit too much of an ask.
As said, read and then read some more - it isnt something to start doing on a whim
Hi guys,
I have this simple question: is it possible to get GT-I9195 rooted without having to replace stock recovery?
(that is without having to do it this way : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2364980)
And if it's not:
can anyone provide any additional info why exactly? I mean something in a way of explanation from someone who understands the process of coming up with a way to get an android phone rooted..
do you guys think that this will last, or is the fact, that there's no easy way of doing this (as with for example sgs2) now, quite normal for a phone that's on the market for a relatively short time? Don't we (or rather those clever guys who know how to meddle with Android's insides) have this figured out - since Android is here already for quite some time - yet? I'm just really curious.
There was something like what you are asking for Galaxy GT-S7562 here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171441&page=2
So, it can be done..I am wondering also if there is something like this for GT-I9192 (which I own) or any other variant.
If not why? I am also wondering as there are many advantages to that, as explained in that thread by the OP..
Let's hope someone will read this and provide..
Hi guys
I need to use Bluetooth Smart for a college project. However, I only own a Galaxy Nexus.
I've read that the device itself is compatible with 4.0, but the software is not.
My question is: does installing a custom 4.4 android rom enable the Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities? If so, do all of them, or only specific ones?
I have googled quite a bit about this subject, but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward answer.
Thanks in advance
Hi All,
I've been searching around, but I didn't find anything. Do you know if anybody tried porting the "Ultra Stamina Mode" of the new xperia devices to Xperia S?
Cheers,
Adrian
I think that the Xperia Overlay firmware might have it but otherwise no.
