Ok so I haven't noticed this when I got my mobile (I bought it recently and I froze Chrome that came by default since I generally use Dolphin) but I have no settings button in my Chrome browser. There's only the tab switch button and that's it, no 3 dots in there. I searched around and found that this usually happens when your phone has a hardware menu button but hey we don't have one. I'm using this app All in one Gestures instead of the soft keys (I hid those by adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 in build.prop). Could this be the cause of my issues?
Anyone knows how I can make those 3 dots appear inside Chrome tab view too since this is the only place I don't have them?
Example in the 2 pictures below.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Edit: Ok so it seems qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 is the problem. Once I went back with this Chrome displays the 3 dot menu. Now my question remains the same how can I make Chrome display the 3 dot menu since this app is the only one that doesn't display them? I tried Xposed 3 dot module and it didn't work, I tried App Settings module to enable legacy menu for Chrome only and didn't work, I tried using another app to hide the softkeys (GMD Auto Hide SoftKeys) and it doesn't work (Chrome doesn't display 3 dots). Growing a bit desperate here. I conclude that I have to modify Chrome in some way to show those 3 dots (I haven't found any option to do that in chrome://flags/ like in the first picture I posted above). Any help/ideea is welcome.
Ok so 59 views and no ideea/solution to have softkeys hidden and also the 3 dots button in Chrome (it only happens in Chrome as i said)?

Hi guys,
after 4 hours of searching and also trying to modify the arrangement of the manilla tabs I gave up.
(current rom: BlackstoneHenge with Windows mobile 6.5 and Sense 2.1)
I would like to unlock the home tab so that I can put it for example on the 6th place. How can I do this?
Greetz
Update: Does anyone have a damn clue how to do this? This would be great.. I can finish my "htc desire" theme in this way.
*update: It can be done by using a registery editor..
My next problem is to reconfigure the HOME page (as default). At the moment, when the home button is pressed, it goes to the most left tab.

what regs did you change to put your home tab in the middle like that?
Can you share that wallpaper?
@ fr3sh_t0_d3f:
I used Mobile Registery Editor to acces the register of my phone.
(I attached the tool for you). Make sure ActiveSync is on.
Maybe you have an idea how to set the default page on home. Each time you unlock the phone the first page will be the tab on the most left side.
@ emd:
I got it from BlackStonHenge his rom.

(Just scroll down till you see Desire Theme)
You will need manilla 2.1 and wm6.5.
I will try to extract the wallpaper for you
Thanks. But i dont know how to make the home button actually go to Home. i tried a couple of different things but they didn't work
I cant help you here, but thanks for the tip. moving the home tab to the middle is quite a neat trick as you only have to slide half as much to acess all tabs.
Thanks for that.
Take for eg FB and Dolphin browser.
On my M7, there were 3 dot menu button to open settings for both of them... Here on FB there is a way, Yes, but not that simple.... And for Dolphin, couldn't open settings.... Any suggestions please.

Facebook = Press the 3 horizontal lines, then scroll to bottom and select "App Settings". Only way to do it, blame Facebook for not including a easier menu.
Dolphin = Use Chrome.
So, the phone doesn't have a menu button?
Dolphin is the best browser I have ever tried on android, wouldn't change to Chrome
To change the wallpaper in Whatsapp you need to open a conversation and then press the menu button to display the option and choose "wallpaper", how do you do that then?
Edit: I was reading an article and I found this:
"Google Now can be accessed just as on Nexus and Motorola devices, and extra buttons like "Menu" can easily be tacked onto the bar by apps."
I don't have the phone yet (I just bought it yesterday and I'm waiting for the delivery) so I'm not sure what that means, but once I get the phone I'll check
If the app doesn't meet android guidelines, an extra button will be added to the bottom:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Quite a cool solution to be honest.
Dolphin - just hold down on the round dolphin symbol that appears on the browser, lower-left corner.......it will give you a few more round things, the one on the right will be the settings, hit that then exit.
Best Browser.
Thanks @ycats... I like Dolphin, better than chrome...

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer on the forums.
I'm running 4.6-BETA5 on my Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 Int'l.
In the last couple of weeks I've started getting notifications overlaying themselves at the top of the screen, as in the following screenshot whilst the eBay app is being updated:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is annoying if several apps are updating one after the other, because it makes the quick settings drawer unreachable.
I've been using PA for ages without this issue so I'm sure it's a change I've made recently - except I can't work out what.
When I first got PA I found, as others have, that Chrome was opening in a floating window so I followed a guide involving something to do with Xposed Framework and the module XHaloFloatingWindow. Recently I believe there was an update to that module, and I'm wondering if by updating the module I've somehow enabled overlay notifications (or whatever they're called). It was some time ago that I first messed with Xposed and I cannot find the original guide I used to mess with the floating window thing.
So, is it possible to turn off this overlay style of notification?
Thanks.
Chris
It's called Hover. You activated by tapping the Hover icon in your notification drawer...just disable it the same way you enabled it. By tapping the icon.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Thanks for the reply - I feel stupid now! I was looking on the quick settings menu and hadn't even considered the icons at the very top change between quick settings and notifications menu. Cheers!

Hi All,
I have been having a blast using Realme 3 device past 20 days. Its was definitely worth the price I received with exchange.
I've encountered few bugs which has outright became tad annoying.
Would like to know if others have encountered the same errors.
Will start with Initial browser connection Issues:
This is frequent as I've tried it with 3 separate browsers (Chrome, Brave & Via).
Even with proper wi-fi & data connection initial search in any browser does nothing and is stuck in loading forever.
I have to enable and disable Airplane mode once, then the browser works as usual. Can't figure out why can't the browser use the internet initially.
This also occurs when opening a page manually in a new tab. If the page is opened in the current page it works but gets stuck in loading in a new tab.
Game Space Compatibility Issues:
Since the default Color OS does not have renaming apps and icon customization I downloaded Nova Launcher Prime. The game space displays an error

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

}
when I switch to 3rd party launcher. I did seach google and found an article which states a signature verification might result in such error.
Notification right swipe creates a blank duplicate notification:
This occurs randomly when a notification is swiped right to clear it a blank notification space takes its place. On swiping left again the discarded notification returns back. I'll post a video or screenshot when I can simulate this error
Is there any chances to identify what causes these errors and how to fix them?
I have the same issue >> Notification right swipe creates a blank duplicate notification:
Hi All.
Has anyone using the Samsung Internet Browser managed to set the url Browser to be at the bottom of the page on their Fold³ ?
I'm also looking to move the Samsung Internet Browser menu tabs that show after the url bar to the bottom if it's possible.
I've seen the guide saying on the Samsung Internet Browser go into Settings, Layout and Menu and the option to move the url to the bottom is there. This is missing on my version.
https://www.androidcentral.com/how-m...ternet-browser
My Samsung Internet Browser is version 16.0.6.23
I've also checked out the Samsung Internet Browser Beta and it's not there either.
You need to use Samsung internet Beta which you can find on the Play Store
It appears the browser url will only show at the bottom on the outer screen and not the inner screen on the Fold ³
I've sent some feedback to Samsung via the Members app.
i removed the Samsung internet Bloatware and use Chrome dev or chrome beta as my favorite browser
I actually moved from chrome to samsung internet. For galaxy phones it works well.
Just FYI the font color you've chosen does not have good contrast if the page is set to dark. See below:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
Thank you for your observation 94b20gsr
I haven't changed anything apart from chosen Dark Mode on the phone and in the Google options at the bottom of it's pages.
The post looks fine on my Fold³.
May I ask what you advise?
Update.
It appears the url Browser will only move to the bottom of the screen on the outer screen and not the inner screen !
Feedback has been sent to Samsung.
