[solved][Q] widgets problem

Hi guys,i've just ran into a problem, whenever i install a new app and try to add it's widget to the homescreen i cant find them!i installed and re-installed many apps n even wiped cache but still no new widgets added to the widget list
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance
Every app doesn't have a widget. Read from the market description if it's even supposed to have a widget and then report back.
Thanks for you're help Hawks556,in the market it does say it has several widgets, and to be specific its PlayerPro..and to explain more i had PowerAMP and i uninstalled it,after i discovered this this problem i re-installed back and also it didn't have the widgets although its used to..
I appreciate you're help
Allright, just had to make sure there aren't any confusions. Tried the PlayerPro app myself and I have no problems with thi widgets. What rom are you using?
I am using Android Revolution HD Beta4 (gingerbread) and i didn't have any problems so far..sorry to trouble you my friend
Have you tried wiping dalvik cache from recovery?
Yea i tried that but also no result
The apps aren't installed on the SDcard by any chance?
Man you are my hero!i just moved them to the phone and the widgets showed up!i was just about to do a full wipe and re-install everything!thank you very very much!but just so i know, why didn't they show when they were on the SD carf?
I'm not sure about the exact reason but I think it's just built like that. It takes a while for the phone to initialize the sd card when you boot (you can see the icon in the statusbar). This in turn would probably result in some errors when loading the widgets from the sdcard as it's not ready yet. I hope you can make some sense of this
P.S. you can always hit the thanks button
Man am really thankful for ur help, and be sure i will press that button as soon as am back to my laptop,am using xda app right now..
Again,thank you

[Q] Gin2ICS problem regarding Play Store and Widgets

After installing Gin2Ics rom, it seems that I can't access some apps on Play Store (Instagram, SwitchPro, etc). How can I fix this problem?
Also, those apps that I installed earlier weren't appearing on widgets list when I'm about to add them (Note, Memory Booster). What should I do on this part? Please help
If this problem can't be fixed, then maybe I'll bring back to stock rom and firmware (good thing I made a nandroid backup before flashing )
I find that I preferred TrueAncestor rom for the Play. GIve that a try
Are you using the regular launcher for Gin2ICs or are you using the included Holo Launcher?

move the apps to phone memory to use widget..
Fixed it. I'm not sure what made my Play Store show apps again. I cleared Play Store's cache and data, renamed build from Gin2Ics [4.0.......] to 4.0......., and cleared cache and dalvik cache using cwm. Now I can download those apps again
I also fixed those widgets, I just tried to move it to phone mem while I was in school now I can access its widgets again

[Q] Xperia PLAY keeps rebooting

After i installed 15-20 apps, and rebooted phone once, my xperia play just keep rebooting, i can only boot it clearly when i enter cwm and clear cache and dalvik cache, but again if i reboot phone, it'll keep rebooting. So I think that the problem is in one of the apps i installed, how can i find which one?
I don't want to delete all apps i installed, just that one that's forcing my phone to reboot.
If anyone can help, please reply.
I uploaded logs, both (catlog and alogcat)
If someone can understand from logs what is causing my phone to keep rebooting constantly, please reply.
I thing that one of the apps is causing my phone to reboot but don't know which one, and i don't have much knowlage to find a solution of my problem from logs :/
Maybe zeam launcher or burst camera

350 mb free internal memory
i have Liquid_speed for xperia play installed in init.d but that tweak wasn't problem when i installed it 10 days ago.
My problem came yesterday when i downloaded 15 paid apps from internet and installed all of tham.
Seems that i'll need to delete it one by one to find which one i causing my problem

start first with those apps who needs root.
you could make backup of those apps, so you can reinstall them

I hope it won't come back again

I'm using ics hyper gamer with lupus ics v7 720p kernel
i tried to uninstall all of apps i installed earlier, but still the same rebooting...
Maybe some of the apps cache took some place on the phone and that is causing phone to reboot
tomorow i'll try to clean install new rom and see what will happen
I did it, i made clean install of new rom and installed all of my apps again, entered in every app i installed(reason for this is that apps can make its cache) and than i rebooted phone, reboot was ok and there is no constantly rebooting anymore, i can turn on bluetooth now without problems, i'll keep using it to see will it be ok in future 2-3 days.
Even if it's all ok on new rom, you could post in few days or a week, is it rebooting or not.. Just for future reference, if someone else is having problem with same rom and apps...
Of course i'll reply when i test it 2-3-4 days.
I'm still on the same rom (hyper gamer) but now cleanly installed and for now don't have problems

Sometimes a fresh install fixes problems with previous Rom u had let's say first flash something didn't get wiped and then new Rom gets install and there conflicting parts of the rom it would cause reboots or the burstly camera app u had may have been a required app that you had uninstalled
Sent from my Droid Incredible to this forum
It could even be a problem of the ROM...

I was facing same problem. I uninstalled all unecessary system apps like HTC Zoe,kid mode(consumes lot),music(Google one, coz I like HTC music),and all bloatware installed by Google .Delete whichever you want. But don't delete the app services. Since you are rooted, use system root uninstaller(I don't rember proper me ,but it has red icon with white dustbin). Don't forget to delete the apps from recycle bin after uninstalling the apps. If you don't delete the apps from recycle bin, they will automatically get installed after reebot. Hit thakms if it worked

I want to delete useless apps but I don't know which ones are totally harmless to delete it for the phone. Can you give names of apps that could delete safely?
Also, how can you delete from recycle bin?
