I'm not exactly sure what to ask to find out exactly how I need to go about fixing it. So, I will begin by describing the problem first. I was changing ROM's like I always do, when after flashing it I tried installing titanium backup. Not only did it not dl & install on that ROM, no applications would dl or install on any ROM. Even when I restored any of my previous ROMs that had been working just fine before! & also I noticed that I didn't have any of my apps on my SD card when I checked my applications in settings.
Can someone please tell me what I need to do? I have tried everything that I know to do!

Did you do a full wipe before installing the new rom?
If so, the next thing to try is go into manage apps, select the ALL tab, find market, then clear cache and clear data. The next time you launch the market app you'll have to enter your gmail ID again. Don't worry, you won't lose your purchased apps.
If that doesn't work, try resyncing your market fingerprint by bringing up the phone dialer and entering *#*#2432546#*#*

Hi guys,i've just ran into a problem, whenever i install a new app and try to add it's widget to the homescreen i cant find them!i installed and re-installed many apps n even wiped cache but still no new widgets added to the widget list
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance
Every app doesn't have a widget. Read from the market description if it's even supposed to have a widget and then report back.
Thanks for you're help Hawks556,in the market it does say it has several widgets, and to be specific its PlayerPro..and to explain more i had PowerAMP and i uninstalled it,after i discovered this this problem i re-installed back and also it didn't have the widgets although its used to..
I appreciate you're help
Allright, just had to make sure there aren't any confusions. Tried the PlayerPro app myself and I have no problems with thi widgets. What rom are you using?
I am using Android Revolution HD Beta4 (gingerbread) and i didn't have any problems so far..sorry to trouble you my friend
Have you tried wiping dalvik cache from recovery?
Yea i tried that but also no result
The apps aren't installed on the SDcard by any chance?
Man you are my hero!i just moved them to the phone and the widgets showed up!i was just about to do a full wipe and re-install everything!thank you very very much!but just so i know, why didn't they show when they were on the SD carf?
I'm not sure about the exact reason but I think it's just built like that. It takes a while for the phone to initialize the sd card when you boot (you can see the icon in the statusbar). This in turn would probably result in some errors when loading the widgets from the sdcard as it's not ready yet. I hope you can make some sense of this
P.S. you can always hit the thanks button
Man am really thankful for ur help, and be sure i will press that button as soon as am back to my laptop,am using xda app right now..
Again,thank you
so I'm currently in 110729 Nightly Jordan. Current;y using the new market, the 3.0 version (forgot the 3 numbers behind it).
When flashing before, I did a wipe data and wipe cache action, and then recovers all the apps , and when I see at the market, the list of all my downloaded application is there.
But now, since the new market, the links/list of the downloaded apps won't show.
something that I tried:
1 . installed a random app, still not showing any of the old apps.
2 . as I used titanium backup to recover the apps, I tried using the Market Doctor which is provided inside it. I used it, and a notification said "Market Doctor has found no recoverable Market Links" , but I used this app to recover all the apps -_-
so, are there any solutions to fix these stuffs, guys? thanks for your help
bump for more inputs
Try and clear data and cache for market in Settings/Aplications/Manage Applications, if this doesnt help, revert to the old market, till the new one is fixed.
Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a try if you're stuck.

I keep getting that damn error whenever I try to download an app from the play store, even when it's free. I fixed it once before by clearing the cache, data, and uninstalling updates of the market but I don't wanna have to do this Everytime I download an app. Anyone have a fix?

Log into your google account and check your wallet. There may be an issue with your payment method. If everything is fine, try deleting the app and then reinstalling the market. You can google "android market apk" to find it, or Google "google play apk". Download and install.
If that still doesn't solve, it could also just be the Google servers having an issue.

This happened to me when my credit card on file expired.

might be a ROM issue
I have the same "error processing issue" problem. I often have to clear my market cache/data, which works sometimes. So I called google market play to see if there were any issues in my account, and the rep said there was none. His theory was that there might be some issues with the custom ROM (ARHD) I installed, since I only started having problems after I installed it. Anyway, I think the only solution for now is the clear cache data approach, or better yet, hope that our ROM builders are able to address the issue.
As an aside, my ARHD is working perfectly, except for this market issue (cum hoc, ergo propter hoc?)
I also have a custom rom installed and had this same issue, I resolved it by uninstalling updates for the google play store app, and then it worked...at least for now.
I recently started messing with various roms and themes when this issue popped up for me. I searched the web and tried the various methods (removing gmail account, not updating, etc) with little luck. After hours of frustration, I finally found out what was causing the issue.
I was using Titanium Backup to back up all my files and restore them as I was flashing between the various roms, that was the trouble maker.
When you back up your files before a flash, make sure you do not back up the google/play store. So, if you are having problems, try to go trough these steps and it should fix it.
Back up all your files (minus play store) in Titanium Backup.
Reboot phone into clockwork.
Reset Factory Data x3
Wipe Cache x3
Install your rom from zip
Once your phone is booted up again, do not enable Wifi (for now)
Do not add a Google Account
Go to the market and download Titanium (will prompt to add Google account, do so)
Exit the Market
Go back to the market (it should now have auto updated to play store)
Try to download another app, any app, it should work
You can now use Titanium to restore all your apps and data, but make sure that you do not restore anything with the market/play store in it.
I did this yesterday, restored all my games, contacts, text messages, etc and it has worked fine for me ever since.
I am running slickMOD Supreme with the Darkside Kernel.
Hope this helped at least a few of you as I know how big of a headache this was for me.
All is good now. However, it does still happen with a couple apps, free or paid. I can't remember which ones but it gives the processing purchase error. Very rare albeit still present.

Aloha;
Sounds like an ID mismatch here. Happens whenever you do a factory reset or change ROMs. I'm guessing that the ID is a hash of the phone and the ROM, maybe. Anyway, the device ID is what ties the phone to your Google account and apps use this to determine whether you paid for the installed app or run as a freeware version.
Titanium now offers the choice of reverting the id back to the old one or ignore the change. I prefer NOT to change the ID back as I've ran into more id mismatch problems down the road than just keeping the new ID. I too use Titanium to backup my apps and data, and use it to quickly restore my apps and data to a new installation on my phone (whether it be a factory reset or a new ROM, or even a reinstallation of the current ROM). Whenever I have a misbehaving app that reverts back to the freeware version or complains about licensing problems, I then uninstall the app and then reinstall the app directly from the Play Market. That has always fixed the problem for ME. Your Mileage May Vary, which mean while it works for me, it MAY not work for you. Keep that in mind before you start biatchin that it doesn't work.
Oh, yeah, also try rebooting after the reinstallation. If nothing else, Dalvik and Cache!
Mahalo,

I've run into this a few times after doing a restore from a backup or swapping ROMs. Best way I can fix it is go to Google Services Framework, stop it, clear the data. Next go to Google Play, stop it. Uninstall any updates, then clear the data. Reboot phone. Go to Google Play again, accept terms, and now it should work. Just some advice.

It's typically under all software. You have Downloads, SD card, All and its in there somewhere. In AOSP or AOKP you have to go under downloaded and it's in there
Hey everyone,
I uninstalled Google Search (google now) because I couldn't click on any of the settings on my stock, s-off, rooted and unlocked rom with flar2's kernel. I had a titanium backup of it, but restoring just the backup without any of the data did not work. Nor did restoring the app+data.
I reinstalled the application on the play store, but now I am having force close issues when I try to open it from anywhere. I know the original name of the application on our phones is Velvet.apk, but I can't recall if it was in system/app or system/priv-app. Does anyone know? If you could look and tell me, I would put the titanium backup apk into that folder and then install from there to see if that fixes the problem.
Please please please help! Google now is a huge part of my phone experience. It's really annoying because even after uninstalling it and reinstalling it from the play store, I still could not click on any settings. So stupid.
