[Q] Question about flashing odex and deodex ROM by CWM/Flashtool

Hello all,
I would like to have a question about flashing odex and deoxdex ROMs.
If I have flashed a odex ROM eg. Doom's JB 200 pre-rooted ROM, then flash a deodexed Rom on top of it without wipping.
What will my system be?
If it become deodexed, will there any odex files I need to remove manually?
Or it is probably not working by using this method?
Wanna find a way to deodex the existing ROM with the less effort.
Thanks

This is a custom ROM.
So what I mean is: this is NOT official ROM from Samsung, but it is built from a firmware like that (stock based ROM), so You will have all the Spen features and Sasmung stuff. It is rooted, You probably trigger your knox flag and Your warranty will be void.
Non stock based ROMS are others that don't support all samsung apps, like Snote, Multiwindow etc. These are for example: Cyanogenmod, AOSP, AOKP, AOSB, Paranoid Android, MIUI and others.

To make it easier for you to understand ,the ROM link you provided is "stock" samsung ROM but the difference is it's "pre rooted" (but you still got to update to latest SuperSu by chainfire for the apps to detect it's root) and it's dedoxed. It has NO note 3 or Samsung S5 modded apps ,if you want to a ROM with note 3/s5 apps go for DN3RC2 or Jellykat v5 both are based on leaked NC2 firmware (the official one is ND3). As you said you are on stock 4.3 so there's a guide made available by a fellow xda user @smeet.somaiya where you don't need to root or worry about deknoxing ,link to his Thread.Follow his guide if you don't want to root your phone yet
i inistalled this rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707431
and i like it
but i have a problem !!!! when i go to the setting for choose a walpaper and chose Home and Screens>WAlpapers i recive this error :
unfortunately, settings has stopped

Yes, mostly any custom ROM is better than a stock ROM.
It's faster and it has mostly more features, for example You may have Note 3 and S5 features (however not all of them if our phones don't have a proper hardware for it, f.e. fingerprint scanner etc.)
To install other ROM it's mostly recommended to do a full wipe, as upgrading may result in many "Force closes" or the phone won't even boot.
So always wipe data, dalvik cache when changing to other ROM.

can you tell me guys what custom rom is better than all custom roms ? DN3 or jellycat ? (on android 4.4)
it's a LEAKED stock rom before official French 4.4.2 release.
it does have more tweaked function but is a customized one. it also doesn't work like DrKetan_MultiTool as it doesn't provide other fumctionality other than to flash the rom.

Somehow the DN3 couldn't boot at my note. From stock based ROMs I used only AirCommand ROM and it was working pretty well, however I personally prefer CM-based ROMs, they are much faster and support ART.

[Q][Acro S] going from 4.4. back to 4.1

Flash stock based kernel with recovery using fastboot and then you can flash the custom 4.1 rom from recovery.
Sent from my LT28h using Tapatalk
Flash stock .96. For rooting flash .211 kernel, and then run Doomlords script and then install CWM before flashing the .96 kernel.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2417672
For .96 kernel and .211 kernel Google is your friend.
My advise is for stock 4.1.2.
God luck!
May I ask why you want to go back to Jellybean? Have you tried Mekoo? I have flashed Jelly bean more than I can count (I can only count to ten ) after trying KitKat, but after I tried Mokee I have been satisfied.
I tried mokee, cm11, beanstalk. They are really good... In mokee is a little bit to much in chineese... But in all Roms i Miss the FM radio... So i think i will go back
I don't notice any Chinese in Mokee beside in TWRP, but with Google that's manageable. Running the latest 4.4.2 version. Will install 4.4.3 Nightly today. I don't use the FM cause my favorite channel is only on DAB.

[Q] Return from CM12.1 to a stock based rom

Hello
What is the best way to go from CM12.1 to a rooted, stock based rom? Like the DstrikerZ1KaiROM. Can I just flash it from recovery then flash the latest RockZ1L kernel for it?
Thanks!

There are prerooted stock ROM as flashable zips here in this forum. Just scan the General Section and choose your preferred version. This would be the easiest option as long as you have an accessible recovery.
Without recovery (or when you want a non rooted genuine stock version) you have to use flash tool and download a stock firmware.
