Just press the vol down and power buttons together or the options button or power button together(whichever works for your device) and then you will get to the recovery mode.

Thank you very much for your solution to unbrick funbook p300.
I tried 7-8 times but succeeded in the end. as the drivers were not being installed.
one should be very carefull while using livesuit, cause if your device gets disconnected,
than u r in problem.

yes.. this is the official way of flashing. so no need to worry about cwm.. Just follow the steps

hey, there are many different ways to root your device. 3 you might wanna try out:
1. z4root, just download the apk (search it), install and click root...
2. framaroot, just download the apk (search it), install and root
3. one click root: search on the internet and look for some tutorials (you need a pc for this, not for 1&2). It's really easy.
one click works for almost any device.
hope this helped a little, but remember that rooting will void your warranty
btw, there are so many tutorials on how to root your phone, just google it.

And for the upgrading, you have to install a ROM. If you look in the forums you will find lots and lots of tutorials. But be careful, ROMs are great but if you install them incorrectly you could get bricked, and you don't want that. Good luck!

I had Spice Mi-320 which had some booting problem. I tried to repair this phone with help of SP Flash Tool but my mistake, I format the hard disk of the phone. Now only blank screen phone, not starting, no vibration, only this phone is detected by SP Flash Tool. Can you provide me -
1) Any Rom for the phone which can be used to Flashed with help of SP Flash Tool. Need less to say that the ROM should have scattered file required by SP Flash Tool.
2) Kindly mention SP Flash Tool version which should be used to Flash.
3) Steps of Instruction to flash.

Requirements :
Windows PC or Laptop
Root Genius
Micromax A25 atleast 50 % charged
USB cable for connection
Step 1 : Download all the files which is mentioned on Requirement section.
Step 2 : Enable USB debugging on your Micromax a25 by Going to Settings >> applications >> development and tap for the USB debugging option.
Step 3 : Then extract the rooting tool kit file Root Genius zip file and run the file which named "Root+½-T.exe".
Step 4 : Connect your micromax a25 using USB cable with PC / Laptop(USB DEBUG MODE).
Step 5 : if your phone detected by software then click next and wait till the process ends.
Step 6 :You are ROOTED.....
Finally after following above 5 step just your Micromax a25 smarty is rooted now. I can say this process is esiest method for root your Micromax a25 smart ! Don't forget to share this method with your friends it will take just 1 min

I didn't try your root method as I am but I just post here to say that someone on frandroid (fr) forum has tried your method and thanks to you he now has an Iocean X7 phone root. :good:

Really thanks a lot for posting such an useful post.. i had been searching for rooting my micromax a 25 but ended up in nothing. this simple root genius app helped to get rid of the troubles caused earlier. Thanks a lot friend....

Works on Icean X7S
It has been test on this french forum to root the Iocean X7S, apparently it was the only way to root this device !

I have rooted my phone by the same method and got the Kinguser installed.
But still it says that I dont have root permission when I try to use Kinguser...
Please help...

I dont think that Karbonn A15 A21 are mtk devices it is qualcomm devices

kinguser has some ABUSIVE permissions and it's a big sevurity concern a su gate with those permisions

still root and recovery is just for 4.2.2, but your can using
"From zero to a custom ROM and Kernel" option to install root - recovery then 4.4.2 (cwm package) to have 4.4.2 rooted with recovery

Which one is the best interms of Battery mainly and overall Performance ... 4.4 which one ?

Two updates are available 4.4.2 and 5.0 for F240L. Which one is better. Every other person is suggesting not to go for 5.0

It's up to u bro wheter u like lollipop or not . i myself updated to lollipop but the battery is not upto the mark in 5.0 so i downgraded to 4.4 again
