Hi, I recently got a I9195 and started to have some setup problems at the time of saving the apn settings. It seems that the radio doesn't work, since it randomly disconnects the 3G connection and I have to restart the phone to make it work again. Recently I discovered that I can't make any phone calls when it disconnects mobile data.
I think that switching on-off wi-fi and mobile data is the action that freezes the application.
The original Android version 4.2.2 was updated to 4.4.2 to check if this was solving the problem.
Bandbase: I9195XXUCNE6

Is the anything I can I check? Anyone else experienced the same problem?
Cheers.

I have a problem with my HTC G2 mobile. I can't get internet via gprs. I checked with the service provider and all the settings are correct.
My mobile software specifications are
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband version: 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.10-g96de068 ([email protected]#1)
Build number: 2.16.531.5CL159515 release-keys
I connected to Wi-Fi and its working absolutely fine. Anyone has the same problem? Please help me!
Right off the bat I don't have any great ideas on how to fix this (except for missing apn settings), but I believe some additional info would help.
Do you have root and s-off?
If you are rooted, which rom are you currently running?
Is the issue the same with other roms?
Are you getting no mobile data connection at all or is it only gprs that you're not getting? (meaning edge, 3g, hdspa work?)

My N7105 started with (Tre) HTS 4.1.2:
PDA: N7105XXDMB2
CSC: N7105HTSDMA1
MODEM: N7105XXDLL5
I switch provider and got the new update 4.3 from them:
Product Code: TLA
PDA: N7105XXUEMK9
CSC: N7105TLAEMK1
MODEM: N7105XXUEMJ9
After this i cant make any more calls. Or to say i can make 1 call after reboot and then it loses mobil network.
IMIE is correct and APN are correct.
I tried to see if there are any new firmwares for HTS Sweden but they havnt release 4.3
The wired thing is I still can surf the internet via 4G but cant make any calls or send sms.
Also my phone goes into roaming mode and things im somewhere else.
I have tried to change firmware to:
PDA: N7105XXUEMK9
CSC: N7105DNFEMK2
MODEM: N7105XXUEMJ9
and also:
GT-N7105 Galaxy Note II LTE
PDA: N7105XXUEMK5
CSC: N7105NEEEMK1
MODEM: N7105XXUEMJ9
But still same problems. I gone throw most of the forums here and found lots of information for N7100 but i need help with the N7105.
Please can anyone help me or refer me to right patches or firmware i can use to be able to make calls again.
I have now also tried flashing several modems:
XXALJ3 (Sweden / Telia) N7105XXDLK7
XXDLL4 (Sweden / Tre) N7105XXDLL4_modem_HTS
XXDLL7 (Sweden / Tre) N7105XXDLL5_modem_HTS
XXDMC3 (DNF) N7105XXDMC3_modem_DNF
Installed also DN3 V3.2 Rom.
Still same problem. Lose my mobil registration and can use the internet. (Not throw Wifi, but APN setting)
Getting frustrating not nowing what to do or try.
Bump
Finaly got kies to backup the firmware to:
Product Code: HTS
PDA: N7105XXUEML2
CSC: N7105HTSEML1
MODEM: N7105XXUEMJ9
BUT still same problem.
The phone seams to be connected with the operator as i spoke with the operator and they can se it. But i cant make calls or send sms.
Its like the phone is stuck on 4G.
I have tried to change to GSM only and more but still no luck.
Anyone out there that has the same problem as me?
i had nearly the same thing on my N7100
let some one call you , it heard the ring tone but your N7105 didn't ring , then you should use Z3 to rewrite your IEME number

There is no ringtone. Plus IEME nr is correct and sending right info to new peovider. Its a software problem thats for sure.
As the roaming is turning on all the time im starting to wounder if its the Region lock thats playing around. As all 4.3 have now recieved regional lockes and to unlock it you need to put the origanal sim provider to unlock it and after that you can use any provider. Have ordered a prepaid card from the original provider and will try to start it up to se if its regional locked.
Hello everyone
I've been battling with this issue for over a month now. I recently flashed CM12.1 / AICP 10.0 on my GTI9190 serrano3gxx and while they are beautiful ROMs, one problem arose. My mobile data doesn't seem to connect at all. WIFI, SMS and calls work without a hitch. I have tried all possible APN's for my carrier (Vodacom ZA) nothing worked. When I reverted back to my NAND backup of the stock ROM the mobile data was offline as well. Which makes no sense to me because it used to work fine in that configuration. This at least gave me the conclusion that the problem isn't ROM related, but then what?
Pretty much where I am now is I'm downloading an update for my firmware. I found a list on http://www.sammobile.com.
Original firmware: South Africa XFA I9190XXUBNA1 (Release date: 25-02-14 Version: 4.2.2)
Now downloading: South Africa XFE I9190XXUCOD2 (Release date: 01-07-15 Version 4.4.2)
Does this seem like the right path to take? I'm really struggling to find ANY sufficient information on the matter for my specific model s4 mini. Almost no information about firmware updates or anything on XDA. I'm not even sure of the risks from doing this firmware update. Will I still be able to run CM12.1 or AICP 10.0 etc? Will I be able to revert back to an older firmware version if this fails? (I'm leaning toward no)
All I want is for my mobile data to work again and this is the only sort of sensible option I've come across, however limited the information on it has been.
ANY help would be much appreciated. :good:
Update on this:
I first isolated the modem and tried flashing that (three times as recommended) Didn't work.
I then flashed the new firmware, which also didn't work. I'm now on new firmware and have tried different modems, nothing works.
Like what, is it actually possible to just "break" your modem? I'm starting to lose faith here.
[SOLVED. Seems like it was Vodacom denying me access somehow for whatever reason. Had to get a new SIM. Sigh. All that hassle.]
Dear all,
My Sony Xperia Z1 Compact loses its APN settings from time to time. The settings seem to get lost every time I go abroad but also when I manually deactivate and reactivate mobile data. I am forced to re-enter the APN settings manually all the time which is very annoying. I have searched the internet but no one else seems to be having that issue.

I have tried the "APN Backup & Restore" app but it is not compatible with my Android version.
I am running the stock ROM and the device has not been rooted or modified in any way. The phone was originally bought in Poland.
I would be very grateful if you could help me sort this out.
Thanks,
Bobby
