Anyone get the update yet? Supposed to start rolling out today...

I haven't. I've been waiting. I'm rocking back and forth in my chair
There's been no announcement that it's releasing today. Common thought is won't see it until L is released in early November.

Rumore say it's been pushed back to Nov. 3rd.

Depends on what you mean - when are you going to install it, or when is someone going to do it for you?
Which is your question?
I think jelly beans can be purchased at the grocery....

Just like the title says... Has there been any word on the Aug 29 Jelly Bean OTA update? Or is that only for international devices... Hope this is the right forum. Still learning my way around.
Rumor is there will be an announcement in a couple hours:

Definitely going to be the international version. I747 hasn't been out long enough.
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda premium
Im not saying it wont take longer, but I think its funny how the International guys act like theirs came out so much earlier...it was released May 28th International, and June 26th US...so you got a whole month on us and that means squat when it comes to JB. The delay will be because of the carriers putting their own crap in there, otherwise it would be the same time. Im betting on late Oct for at least AT&T...

Figured I would post this, didnt see a thread on it yet. (Other then rumors and so)
Wonder when we can get some good official custom roms then. =D
Damn its about time, I've been wondering if they were going to get away from the leak updates and put out the official release. Thanks for posting.

They say October for the unlocked S3 variants. I bet it will be at least Christmas time before we see anything from T-Mobile.
Seeing as we already have a couple of leaks and the last one was pretty well polished I would not be surprised if the official update got leaked ahead of the October timeframe.
Awesome find. Although it was kind of a given that the JB OTA would be coming soon, considering how smooth and almost perfect LI3 is.
Kudos to Sammy and Tmobile for making this happen!

It doesn't say October is for unlocked S3 variants, it does say it's likely unlocked ones will get it first. You also have to take into consideration that website is just an unofficial blog filled with rumors.

I'll still bet $20 that we won't see an official JB release until the holidays. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I am willing to bet you those $20, I can assure you we will see it at around the same amount of time as the international version.

That website is a lot more than rumors. If you have ever followed their twitter or past articles they have been dead on regarding any type of news releases ie. ICS/ JB

My theory is it will be available once they upload it to AOSP.
I don't know when the source will drop but a lot of little parts have already been pushed to source in expectation. The kernel is there as well I think... I'd expect source to drop late tomorrow.
Can't wait to flash the stock image.
Hoping to see it this month.
It will be out when it's out. Making dozens of treads won't make it appear any faster and just clutters the forums.

Hog wash, wasn't jellybean official with nexus 7 launch, then Sprint updates started within the first week or two of September, so that was what 2 months, honestly that's pretty Darn good timing.

An update that was a bugfix only, no software version.
In that regard, Verizon's version had an OTA the first day of launch.
:Launching with JB doesn't count as an update, LOL.
Yet, they both have been slow since. Nice try though.
Can't wait for the 4.2 update.
I think first the source codes will be uploaded to AOSP, and then the factory image will be pushed to google's website, and at the same time, the OTA will begin.

Meanwhile, Verizon will finish testing the 4.1.2 bug fix update for release by the end of November, and push out 4.2 by mid-January. I am really looking forward to my contract ending and the 2013 Nexus devices rolling out.
