Anyone else try to use their mophie power pack with their G3?
I am using it with my original G3 cable, and it is telling me to install drivers and to use the original cable that came with my device. There is no option to switch anything...
Any way around this? Kind of getting annoying if you ask me.

Couldn't find anything online, but maybe someone here knows if one exists. Basically instead of an external battery that plugs into the port, does anyone make a case that will fit HTC batteries (TP2/EVO) that you can just plug into your phone via cable?
I don't mind carrying a spare battery, but I can't stand having to remove my phone case, then remove the phone backing just to replace the battery. I figure something like this should have an extremely low profile, and very simple to use.
Something similiar to this, but also able to send power OUT, to a device.

Hey guys so I'm kinda starting a project. would love some help, so my Optimus got screwed up a ways back and the accelerometer and light sensor got screwed up. so I found another on with a broken screen on it and swapped the motherboard to make a 100% working one. I want to use the old one on a tv, like find a usb to hdmi and use the phone on a tv and get a Bluetooth keyboard. problem is, the phone wont power up without a battery in it. Does anyone know of a trick that I can plug the phone into usb power and power it up with no battery?
Hi, My D855 need 4 houres to full charge, other people tell me they dont need more than 2 houres for a full charge. I use the charger and usb cable from G3.
Some one have idee of what to do or to try?
PS sorry for my pour english...
No need to apologize.
The standard things to try are to use a different USB cable between the charger and phone, and if that doesn't work try a different charger. Any micro USB charger can be used safely.
If neither of those things help, then take a look at what's using battery on your phone, and see if there's some app or process that's running out of control. If you haven't already, shut the phone off and then restart it. That should stop, at least temporarily any out of control processes. Also see if it charges faster with the phone turned off.
I change the cable and I think it works well now.
Thank for your help

It was actually a feature for the G2 called plug in pop, they removed it on the G3. It could be flashed on the G3 but broke the smart cover functionality. Not sure if it could be flashed on the G4?

1) remove and replace your battery without turning the phone on
2) plug your USB cable into your computer
3) hold Volume + while plugging the other end of the USB cable into your turned off G3
Does it boot into download mode?
Also, make sure you use a genuine LG usb cable, as the budget cheap thin ones are rubbish.
Doesn't have to be LG cable, but make sure it's a good quality thick one.
