Hello,
in August I installed cyanogenmod 11 M9 to a friend's Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini because she had some problems with stock ROM. Everything was fine, but a few days ago the phone started to vibrate when the connection to the cellular network was lost. Today she updated to cyanogenmod 11 M11 but the issue is still present. I didn't find a way to disable this annoying behaviour in Android's settings, she told me she didn't change anything there. Has/Had anyone the same or a similar issue and knows how to disable the vibration after losing cellular network connection? I'm thankful about every hint about the cause and solution to this problem.
The phone is a Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9195, cellular network is vodafone (Germany).
Thank you in advance,
becha
Today she told me that the phone started vibrating when receiving a new message until she read the message. So, S4 Mini with Cyanogen Mod 11 M11, vibrating every time cellular network is lost or starting to vibrate when receiving a new message and vibrating as long as the message is unread. If you can't help me here, please give me a hint who or where to ask this question to get some help.
Best regards,
becha
Sorry, never heard of this before. Maybe try backing up and do a fresh install.

Hell everyone,
I recently rooted my phone and installed LiquidSmooth on my AT&T Samsung S3. About three days into using the ROM, I notice some connection problem between my phone and AT&T's network. The problem I experienced was I wouldn't receive texts or calls from other people even though the phone is connected to the network. When I do receive the texts, they come all at once at the same exact moment. Which means my notification ringtone going off like crazy.
This problem usually occurs at night around 9-12PM. I also experienced the same exact problem when I first started using CM10, the stable build. The one thing I also noticed after installing both ROM's is there's no voicemail number. I had to manually add a voicemail number, which is my own number, right?
I decided to unroot my phone and run Samsung's newly released JB update, which totally blows besides the battery life. As of right now with the unrooted phone and Sammy's updates, everything is running fine.
Thanks very much, I appreciate any help I get from you guys. And, I do want to apologize in advance if this question had already been asked. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything on the subject. If you guys need anymore details, please do not hesitate to ask. I will try my best to provide as much detail as possible. Thanks once again.
First of all I searched and didn't see anything on this, sorry if I missed it.
I am having a issue with my S3, it seems it randomly stops receiving calls and sms. The phone is only a week old and it has happened twice already.
A simple restart seems to fix this issue however I would prefer to have a device that I don't need to worry about restating daily to ensure I am getting my calls.

Any help would be great & thanks in advance.
you didn't search properly, as there is a thread about this already. it is a known issue on AT&T's end, so everyone experiencing this problem needs to wait for them to fix it.
It is a problem with LTE service, using only 3G is the only current fix to this.

I really need some help guys and gals I got this phone of my mother, and the Bluetooth and WiFi had never really worked for her, but she didn't ever need them as all she did was send texts calls and Facebook.
But the problem I am facing is that the WiFi and Bluetooth turns on and then hangs and then greys (see video) out. There have been similar issues like this.
I have no installed apps beside from Reddit is fun i have rooted and installed a custom kernel (Adams) which hasn't helped i have tried a facotry reset countless times with both the custom kernal and the default unrooted.
i have tried to unscrew all the screwss on the back and then rescrew them, i have removed battery and sim cleared all caches and to no avail nothing works

Could someone plase help
I've searched for a solution to this and not found a clear answer. I apologize if I missed something obvious.
I loaded CyanogenMod 11 (cm-11-20131126-unofficial-t0lte) on my AT&T Galaxy Note 2 (I317) last week. No problems with the install. The first time I was away from wi-fi I noticed it would drop the data connection. Didn't do this prior to the install. I was last using JediX19 (with no data connection drops, but the phone would occasionally shut itself down). Looking for a solution, I found a similar problem someone was having with T-Mobile and making a phone call resets the data connection. I've been loading the nightlies as they come out and they all work fine, but the phone still drops the data connection regularly.
My questions are: should my AT&T phone work with the t0lte version? Do I need to go back to CM10.1 or 10.2? Could I keep using CM11 if I update my radio? If so, which version do I want to choose?
Thanks,
OKMD
Hi guys, since I updated my mi a2 to pie, I'm really suffering from the very slow data connection, even after February update!
I'm trying every possible solution but with no success
Anyone facing the same here? Any suggestions?
Facing similar problem also.
Though many times the phone shows the 4G icon, the bandwith seems low, especially when i try to listen to music through spotify for example, while it used to be better under Oreo.
Any solution welcome.
Any solutions? ?
