[Q] bigger caller picture - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I was wondering if you could tell me how to make the caller picture in the G3 bigger.
I saw the TweaksBox has it but I want only that changed and not all the tweaks it has
Thanks!

Tweaksbox doesn't change anything unless you tell it to. Just leave all the other options turned off.

It shows it on the bottom of the picture but our cause you can't touch those I've never had this problem before the recents button had always been a option for me

you can only have 5 on navbar
Correct but their its always a option for that one
See it's on this one
You should go in the Cloudy G3 thread and ask - this is the G3 forums, not the G2 forums. Someone using that rom could probably help you better.

i tried these 2 but it didn't do it.. thanks for the help
Very intersted in the lower resolution option to save battery. would you post back your findings if you can get the majority of the LG apps to work? namely the Quick Circle case app, and the messaging app that you have to use with it, to see your mesages.
Well for the resolution i put 1080x1920 with 480 dpi with Nomone
After that installed xposed with App Setting and change the dpi of the lg app (like phone, message, etc.) to 530, which is the minimum for the lg app.
Also, you should change the launcher for the Nova launcher
For the quick circle im still trying to figure out wich service/app it is running
The game poppy pop is working great even with the lower resolution.

You ever find out the answer to this question? Or anyone else know?

Yeah sort of, but it's a bit disapointing. I found out that the quickcircle is actually implemented in the launcher or something like that like suljo said, making it very hard to get to change its resolution. I eventually got a new phone and stop looking into that.

[R] LG G3 Lockscreen app

Hello,
I'm not on an LG G3, but I really envy its latest lockscreen (the 5.0 Lollipop one, I mean), since you can have notifications and lockscreen in the same screen , without having to swipe notifications and then unlock the screen (with code, glyph or whatever).
Is there a way to extract the LG G3 lockscreen and use it on a Samsung GSII?
Can anyone provide a link/dump?
Many thanks in advance

So that's really out of the question? No option to import LG framework as well, so to make it work?

you can't import it, you could port it but you would lose faetures and alot of time making it work. it is easier to download an simular app from google play instead

Larger Contact Picture for Phone Calls?

Did a search and apparently this was an issue on LG G3 as well:
After updating to lollipop and the new LG UI - I hate how the contact picture is now a small circle when you place or receive calls. Anyone know of a way to get it back to the bigger contact picture like it was on the older LG UI?
For the G3, it looked to be a feature within G3 Tweaksbox, but I don't believe that has been updated for Xposed Lollipop (or whether it will work for G2).
Thanks in advance!

Just updated this morning to it. That was the first thing I noticed. There is many things I'm not liking about the update too. Color themes ugly, icons not Contact adjustable much, The Weather Animation is gone as well. Overall looking it seems to be a step back in the users basic functions.
EDIT: Hold the new Round Contact icon down. So you can Edit it. Then click the + add new. You can re-size it and make it square again with any image you like.

lg g3 tweaksbox - where is the option to turn message app background colour

Hi all
Im trying to find the option in tweaksbox to change the background colour of the messageing app from whire to black
Somebody told me download tweaksbox and i have but now i canmot find the option
Can anybody help please
LOL... why not just go with ChompSMS or Textra? You'd get a bump in features and have more customizability of the interface.
i do not really want to change sms apps

Hi
I DO NOT want to have to download yet another app when I don't have too, im happy with the stock app
iv installed tweaksbox for this reason I juts need to know where the option is in tweaksbox to change the white background colour
1. Redundant thread from your other one. We all do our part to keep it clean.
2. You rooted, installed a custom recovery, have installed alpha Xposed and G3Tweaksbox, and are [hopefully] doing the requisite nandroid backups between all changes... just to avoid installing a messaging app that comes without the yellow bit. LMAO. THAT, sir, is priceless.
