Hey guys
I own the micromax canvas A1 and I'm on stock ROM with unlocked BL and no root.. The first time I switched on my phone, I saw a green notification LED blinking.. And unfortunately, that was the last time I saw it blink! It doesn't blink for any sort of notifications.. I've tried using 3rd party apps like light manager and light flow but in vain.. Any solution for it?!..
Thanks in advance!
I also own micromax canvas a1 for last two months.. LED notifications are not working like other lower android version mobiles.. It is good that it shows notifications only when the screen is off. But very bad thing about the LED is multicolor is not there.. It had only green and red...
Check once after uninstalling light manager..
I had also installed light manager once.. But I removed it since it is of no use...

Mine has been working normally since i used it.
Does it still light up when you're charging the phone?
yes, the led is OK, but all of my application that would be able to change the color for SMS notifications, gmail, ... do not succeed to do it; The led still remains yellow.
Nico
From what I have seen when u install a gingerbread rom the notifications are disabled from the settings. I am using LeeDroid and everytime i flash it it removes them. So just go to the settings and tick the leds that you need.
yep, I already check that;
As I said in previous post, the led is blinking well, except the fact it is always in yellow (maybe except red when battery is low but I did not check it)
i got problem why my led notification no appear?
i already try tick the notification in led indicator but still no led light appear,1 more problem also my note II suddenly restart without touching the phone,it happen so many times.
Install led manager form market.

I have try install led manager, but the result still no led light.
Hi there,
after quite a lot of time of trying and testing I want to share my experience with you.
I use a Z1 Compact with rooted stock firmware 14.2.A.1.114 (Android 4.3) and I wanted to control the notification LED in the way that CyanogenMod allows it:
Disable charging notification
Enable custom colors for different Apps
Switch off the LED completely at night
My solution is the combination of two Xposed Modules with the App Light Flow.
First, install the Xposed Framework. To get it to work on your Xperia smartphone, you can use the Xperia version which works very well.
To switch off charging notifications, download and activate the module Disable Charging Led.
Notification colours can be modified by the module Xposed LED Control.
Xposed LED Control unfortunately does not allow silent hours and is limited to five modified notifications in the free version.
This is where the App Light Flow comes in. It comes with many personalization options like silent hours. I needed to install Xposed LED Control because without it, I was not able to control the LED with Light Flow.
Switch on the root mode in Light Flow (general settings) and configure the notifications and sleep settings as desired.
If you are unsure if all the instructions described above will work on your phone, you can try the free version Light Flow Lite.
Light Flow did not work for me without Xposed LED Control. I think this is not so obvious and so I hope this will help anyone with the same problem, maybe even with other Xperia phones.

Perhaps you mean "charging" instead of "loading" ...
I did the same thing. Downloaded Xposed LED control and Light Flow, but I have the following issue. When I receive a text message for example, the LED flashes in the stock colour (a sort of pink). Then I turn on the display without unlocking and the LED changes into the colour I customized. When I turn it off it stays that colour. This kind of defies the process of changing the colour, as I need to turn in the screen anyway.
Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

Have you switched off the notification light in the text message app? Or maybe you want to configure the color in Xposed LED Control? I was unfortunately not able to reproduce this issue.

Yes, I can confirm that too. I switched on Stamina mode a few days ago for testing purpose and I got problems with Light Flow, too. So, if you really need to use Stamina, you are limited to the functionality of Xposed LED Control.
Same problems on my Z1c.
Stamina is on and then the custom-color flashes once and then the default violett light.
Lightflow, light manager or xposed led control, all the same problem

I think we'll have to wait until Sony fixes LED notifications in Stamina mode. Other models have this problem as well. I switched off Stamina completely as Greenify is sufficient for me to freeze battery draining apps in standby.
For me LightFlow work without the help of the module only need to disable your Stamina completely impossible job because I am quite removed Stamina.
it is work good :fingers-crossed:
is there any app to change blinking time when stamina is on ? i don;t want to chagne color only what i need is faster led blinking ...

I currently use GravityBox [KK] to disable the charging LED.
For those who don't use Stamina because the LED does not work: There is the Xposed Module Xperia Stamina LED that works like a charm.

Help! The led of my xperia is always switched on until you're off the screen and up to when you turned off ... The only way that the led is turned off is by removing the battery ... helppp!! That to me much ... already download format and is still as well :c
try using led controller..
Check in the Settings>Display , if everything's right , then download a LED Controller App (Light Manager or Light Flow)
Is it possible to set notification LED to blink for missed call on Micromax A1. Currently it blinks in Green colour for unread message. LED blinking stops after we press power button, and there is no blinking even if we dont unlock phone or dont read message. I want similar blinking if there is miss call.
I know it is possible with 3rd party apps, but I am not comfortable with those apps asking permission to access Contacts/Message/etc from phone.
Besides I also wanted to know how many LEDs are present in A1. Apart from Green colour for sms, I also see Red colour LED in ON state during calling. I guess it is different LED.
cmon being a Google user.. u shldnt worry about givn permsn. Android is all about open source , there's no place for privacy. notification works for msd call too. don't know wt u r sayn.

I know that there may be many apps which has access to phone which I may not be aware of
I have checked several times, Green LED notification only blinks for unread messages. For missed calls there is no LED notification.
Not only missed calls, But there is no proper use of LED indicator in this mobile. Battery charging, Low battery alert etc. I wish there could be an option for customization in Android L update.
After Lollipop update
I can now confirm Green Notification LED blinks for Missed Calls, unread Emails and SMS after Lollipop update
But there is no indication on LED during charging.
Earlier with Kitkat LED only blinked for new unread SMS.
