Hello, I have a Sprint LS980 and it was locked. I wanted to unlock it but it was Kitkat so I put all files to phone, root it then done all steps written down. But after rebooting I got an error below which continously shows up again and again. If Even if I press OK button or not phone reboots again itself. It reboots continously so I can not Restore to Stock Firmware. (I even can not go to recovery mode using volume up and power button. LG Logo shows up then reboots.)
Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
Could you please help me how can I get rid of this.

Hope you have your app data backed up because the only solution is to wipe the phone and restore to stock via the tot file
You need to debloat your phone
Hello, I had the same problem when tried to sim unlock my ls980. I know it's going to be a difficult task, but you need to rename the following applications in order to stop having that error:
Activation.apk
OmaDmclient.apk
SPR_Skyfire_Observer.apk
SPR_Skyfire_Toolbar.apk
SprintExtensionProvider.apk
SprintID.apk
SprintTouch.apk
Vtt-Sprint.apk
xtra_t_app.apk
Zone-Sprint.apk
WIFIOffloader.apk
You can use root explorer. Look for them in /system/app, /system/priv-app.
You need to follow the steps one by one for the next time.

PROBLEM SOLVED.
So at first I used Kingroot to rood my device, and it failed, but then i just realized few days later that Kingroot was installed and used root checker to check and said that it does have root access. After that decided to change the Kingroot to SuperSU by following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WevWdErXWy4 (It's the SuperSU Me app). I then updated SuperSU binaries and restarted the phone, and now its stuck at the loading screen. I tried hard resetting my phone but it would only show the screen with the android logo and shapes in its belly for about 2 second and go back to the stuck logo screen. Now I'm wondering if there's any fix for it, and if there's no fix then I'm going to try resetting it through this http://lgg3root.com/lg-g3-root/how-to-unrootunbrick-lg-g3/ guide and I was wondering if I should download and use the bell stock factory firmware (I have a virgin mobile version).
Edit: fixed to be more clear.

if you can get into recovery you can probably do it without unbricking. to you have stock recovery or twrp or what? If you have stock recovery then boot into recovery and just run it and itll hard reset your phone, if you have twrp or something just download the flashable rom of your choice (there are stock modded roms too if you like stock) put it on an sdcard and wipe and install that rom.
if you don't know how to get into recovery then make sure your phone is off (if ur not sure do a battery pull and put it back in). hold volume down and power button until the screen comes on. when it comes on let go of vol down and power and then push vol and power again and hold again until you see the writing)
btw if you do a stock recovery hard wipe then you will lose root.
I also faced this problem...

Problem solved. I just flashed the stock firmware onto my phone and it fixed the stuck on logo problem.
Hi, I don't usually ask for help, because I can easily find the answer in Google, but this time I made an exception because I couldn't find a solution to this error.
There is a funny story about it, I updated to Lollipop 5.0.2 right after I got my tab, then I found KingRoot and rooted it, but then I noticed my tab was slowing down with it installed so I changed to SuperSU using a script, after that I decided that I wanted CM on this tab, I've found it, after I flashed the recovery and tried to restart into the recovery it appears this message (error : boot certification verify) above the LG logo.
Summarizing all that, I was an idiot and flashed a recovery AFTER I updated to 5.0.2 ?
The V410 can be downgraded to kitkat using the method in the linked thread, it is a long read. The kdz you have to use messes up aboot and internal storage, so it is a pretty long and involved process to get everything back to normal.

I just did the same thing (similar, after installing supersu for root, not remembering CM root is built in).
All I had to do to recover was:
1. Boot into recovery mode manually. Press volume down, then power and hold both, release the power button when the LG logo comes up, then instantly press the power and volume up buttons and hold (so now you are holding all 3 buttons). Just use volume down and power to select yes twice.
2. Once in recovery, I was able to flash an older CM13 rom/image I had (not even a stock one), booted, then just flashed my CM14.1 back, with its gapps, whip dalvik cache.
3. Reboot - when it asks to install supersu do not install option doesn't work, but the install option fails and it reboots for me.
Good to go.
I've got v-410 rooted in 5.0.2. Do I have to downgrade to KK in order to flash twrp (so I can go to another rom)?
Hi,
I am getting the error com.android.phone stopped unexpectedly repeatedly.
I tried a factory reset and now can't get into phone as it won't let me get past the welcome screen as its constant pop up.
how can i get past this or is it possible to root from this state.. i can still get to the recovery/fastboot screen by pressing volume down & power.
can anyone help with this ? I cannot do anything with the phone... i cant get into it to enable debugging etc
Get into the recovery (if you cant, flash the recovery through fast boot) then do the TWRP wipe and try to get another ROM in. Could be a ROM problem. Try flashing that, then restart the phone.
same issue
I'm having the same issue with my phone. Can somebody give me a step by step guide on how to resolve this?
Hello to every one!
I have a problem with my LG G4s H736.
So, I got root rights with KingRoot on 5.1.1 android, after that i changed to SuperSu via SuperSumePro.
Than i wanted to update to Marshmallow via LgFlashTool. When the process bar were on 5% percentcs, electricity turned down.
After that i tried to turn on my phone and i got a endless reboot, Lg logo appears and then disappears whith a little blue flash on screen and all that repeats endlessly.
PC does not see my phone anymore. I tried to revive my phone via LgBridge, but it wont help me BUT after pressing button "repair after incorrect update" i started to see a little message in upper left corner:
boot verification failed!!
cause mismatch_slg_len
What can I do with it? Please help guys!
Thanks for your attention!

will flashing a KDZ work.? have you tried.? is there one for this phone.? if its bricked then LG should fix it tell them that.. what happened.
Hello
I am new to working on these phones so I apologize in advance if I don't properly state any processes or terms correctly.
I have a stock non modded Verizon LGG3 VS985 that experienced problems with WiFi and Bluetooth not working and significant battery drain. This happened right after a recent update to marshmallow. I tried cache clearing, safe mode, hard reset and nothing solved the problem. I decided I wanted to take the phone back to factory condition. I started with the LG flash tool that uses the .tot and a .dll. I ran the flash and when the program got to approx. 80%(at checking mini os phase of the flash) the phone began to reboot and only got as far as the LG logo and after about 2 min of the phone trying to reboot the flash program said fail, usb connect or something like that. At this point the phone will only start and go into a loop that includes the vibrate and the LG logo. and that will cycle until I believe the battery would die if allowed. I then found a link here at XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140) that uses the KDZ method, was well written and easy to follow. I ran it on the phone and it was going great. The flash program got to 88% and the phone went into the boot loop with the vib and LG logo . The flash program continued to run until it was complete while the phone was in the boot loop and it got to 100% and said that the software installed. I powered down the phone via battery removal and now when it tries to boot it vibes, shows the lg log and then the green android symbol shows for about 2 seconds and then it does it all over again. I have tried a hard reset and nothing changes. I appreciate any ideas any of you may have on what I can try to get this resolved. Thank you.

Not sure I understand the question completely, but I did place the phone in download mode as per the method you mention prior to both attempting the KDZ method and the TOT method of going back to stock.
