Presenting:
A Unofficial Cyanogen(mod) 9 Boot Animation!​
This boot animation is meant to be an homage to my favorite ROM. When I saw what was to be the new boot animation for cyanogen(mod) 9 I was somewhat disappointed (and I know that I was not the only one). So I decided to take an afternoon to create my own boot animation.
THIS IS INTENDED FOR PHONES WITH A SCREEN RESOLUTION OF 480x800!
For anyone who does not know, this is how you install a boot animation. This is using the Root Explorer method. I believe a free alternative is called Root Browser:
Browse to /system/media and backup bootanimation.zip to a safe location
Rename this boot animation to bootanimation.zip
Place the new bootanimation.zip on your SD card
Navigate to where you saved the new bootanimation.zip and copy it
Browse to /system/media and paste the new bootanimation.zip replacing the old one

Hey thanks for posting these! I used the first one, and combined with a dark boot animation (link), I get a perfect dark boot-up sequence. I also installed the dark hboot from the GPE firmware from this thread.

Thanx a lot for the great splash screens! Do they revert after flashing another rom? If not, how to revert to the stock one?

Nope, you need to flash the original again, which is also included in firmwares

I'm using your same settings (dark bootloader, bootsplash and bootanimation)
I hate the default light ones, they blind me!
PS: more bootsplash are coming!

[BOOT ANIMATION] The Matrix Boot Animation

I've been looking for a good Matrix Boot Animation for long but never found one. So decided to make one for myself.
Finally , here it is.
The matrix rain, followed by 'The matrix has you' message and then loops back to the rain.
540x960 at 30fps
Code:
Root Explorer required
[B]Imp:It is recommended to make a backup before trying to change system files
,just to be safe.[/B]
Instructions​
Using your explorer go to /system/media and rename the existing 'bootanimation.zip' to 'bootanimation.bak'
Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media
Set permissions to rw_r_r
Reboot.
Preview: Just a small one.​

It's not a flashable zip. You need to copy it manually.
PS: I know it's late. I've been AFK for some time.

1.Extract the rar file
2.Reboot to Bootloader(Hold power + volume down button for 10 seconds and then release to reach Bootloader)
3.Click on Install.bat which is in the package i provided

Burning Batman Logo is awesome .. But its size is too much ...No effect on boot time .. Recommended for die hard Bat-fans....
