I have the same problem using Meizu MX4. Do you have a solution?
Try this on your phone: App draw > Settings > Apps > Slide to "ALL" > Find "Google Play services" > Manage Space > Wearable storage > Clear now.
Also I had the same issue trying to connect my wifes brand new Moto360
Pair bluetooth with the watch
Open Android Wear
menu - settings - connect with new device (it seems even though it is paired you still need to tell it to connect the first time)

My sw3 has worked for 6 months. I was having some connectivity issues with two of my apps so decided to do a factory reset and reconnect to force the apps to update. Done this at least twice successfully. But this time I go through the process...
-uninstall AW,
-reset my watch,
-reinstall AW,
-start the watch,
-open AW,
But the pairing code doesn't show on in AW...but it shows on the watch. I can connect in the phone bluetooth menu and get the "paired notification'' then the watch goes to the updating screen followed by 'syncing'. Usually this where I get the 'updating apps 3 of 23' but it just stays on syncing. At the end watch is not connected to my phone no apps are loaded. The phone is never visible in AW. Now if I go in and repair the devices it looks like they are connected but I can't.
I think something is wrong with AW.
update
I think its actually something in my phone... my wife's Samsung Note connects in AW. Why can't my Nexus 6 see the watch.
If you haven't done so already, try restarting the phone immediately after uninstalling Android Wear app on your phone. If that doesn't fix it, you may have to factory reset your phone.
working

What have you do to work again? My phone have the same problem...
Thanks.
I have to this every couple months when my phone won't connect with my phone. Some sort of bluetooth issue.
- factory reset watch
- go into android wear and remove the watch
- forget the watch in bluetooth settings
- uninstall android wear
- restart the phone
- install android wear
- restart the phone
- use wear to connect to the phone
Sometimes I have to do this twice and it might take 45 mins to update my apps.
Perfect for me.
The only issue remaining is the unexpected unlinking with the phone, but it isnĀ“t new.
Phone Bq Aquaris E6 4.4.2, watch Sony SWR50 6.0.1.
I purchased a sont smartwatch 3 about a month ago and when I first got it and charged it up, it paired right away to my phone. Over the course of a few weeks I would notice there would be times when it would not connect to my phone. Turning bluetooth off and back on would fix this. I got tired of doing that so I unpaired the watch and deleted all android wear from my phone to start fresh. The watch would not connect. I have now been trying for a few weeks to get it working again. I'll list everything I have tried below ( not in order but as I think of them).Hoping for a new idea on this I haven't found:
- clear play services and play services framework cache
- in adb shell :adb shell am start -a android.bluetooth.adapter.action.REQUEST_ENABLE
- factory reset on watch
- forget all bluetooth devices on phone
- rooted watch and tried 6.0.1 rom
- hold power button till watch restarts 3 times
- locked and unlocked bootloader
- xperia connect software repair
Is there a bluetooth testing method anyone is aware of or a way to check my bluetooth integrity ? Maybe flash a bluetooth module ?
wich phone ? I have BT issue with my xperia Z5C : SW2, SW3, Zenwatch2....
non rooted nexus 5
It's working ! This makes no sense how though. I let the watch sit for days after my last attempt to pair it. Used Sony companion to return it to stock. Today I decided to try again. It was dead and had been for a week or so. I connected it to my computer via usb and I turned it on after letting it charge for about 5 mins. On my laptop I decided to check what bluetooth devices my computer could see. My smartwacth shows up in this list. I wish there was a camera on my face, it would've been priceless. I grab my phone and reinstall android wear. It finally shows in the app. I have been trying to fix this for weeks now and it just randomly works now. Maybe this may give something new steps to try for those that run into this issue.

I dont think the fault lies with the watch and phone but more so with Google play services as this is needed to run and connect android wear as far as I know. Try uninstalling play services and reinstalling on the phone. If that doesnt help then try resetting the watch in pc companion. If this doesbt help then im unsure but I could only blame gplay services as all my android wear issues have been with this such as apps like watchmaker deleting itself off the watch after rebooting my phone (xperia Z2 rooted custom rom). I even tried factory resetting both but the issue still persisted so I gave up with it and decided to manually resync apps after every reboot.
You can try resetting your devices but I cant garentee this will solve your issues.

RJASSI21 Many thanks! i clear the google play services data and now all is working fine.
Thanks!
I have this problem occasionally with my LG G4. It works fine then all of a sudden it won't connect to the phone. Shows up in Bluetooth devices, but not in Android wear. Only way I find to sort the problem out is to unpair the watch from the phone which then activates a factory reset. Once done all is good again........well for a few weeks or so.
I let the clock DIE (battery) and then work for 2 weeks, now the same problem.
I was wondering if anyone else was/is experiencing problems with connecting their phone to their car for Android Auto. I just updated my Pixel 2XL to Android 10 yesterday (then rooted it) and when I went to connect it to my car today, Android Auto did not show up at all. It only showed up on my phone. The screen in my car says that there is no device connected. The phone is charging, but nothing else is happening. I have tried many different cables and uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto and Google Maps. I am hoping someone can help me. Thanks
No problems here, check your cable and phone usb port
It's working for me on Android 10.
So I had a issue with Android Auto on Android 10... My vehicle has the head unit JVC KW-M845BW and I couldn't get the android auto interface to pop up after installing Android 10. In Pie, I could just go into the app and turn on the bluetooth auto start up setting when the car started. Now that the app is not available to open, you have to hope starting the head unit will pull up Android Auto... In my car, I have to set the parking break to get Android auto app to pop up on Android 10 for the first time installation. After that, the app pops up on my head unit every time.
Hi guys, I am having a problem with my tv.
I have a generic keyboard with a 2.4ghz USB receiver.
While the TV was with the version that came from the factory, the keyboard worked well and could be turned off when not in use, this action did not affect the TV.
Yesterday, we updated to the latest version of the system since the TV suggested it. The update went well and everything worked correctly.
When turning off the keyboard to save energy, now the TV turns off too and there is no way to turn it back on, you have to take the original control and turn it on again ...
Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be and how to fix it?
I went to the store where I bought the keyboard, they changed it for a new one and the same thing keeps happening.
Thank you all!
Wireless keyboard- android tcl

Hello guys,
I have 2 TCL TVs which have the same issue.
I bought 2 USB wireless keyboard/touchpad to use one for each.
They both go on standby when the keyboard is turned off manually or automatical standby.
I have found an option which fixed it (somehow) for me:
"Settings > Device Preferences > Inputs" & disable the following: "Device auto power off (Power off HDMI devices with the TV)"
After I toggled the switch in the settings, the TV will not turn off when I manually switch the keyboard off!! (if it takes me near to 2' and I turn it off, the TV goes off as well)
On the other hand, the TCL Android TV will still go on standby but only when the wireless keyboard goes on automatic standby after about 3 minutes..

Hi! I found a solution you have to keep press volume + or - in your remote control at the same time you turn off the keyboard. That way your TV doesn't turn off too. Then, you can turn on the keyboard and use it again. It's a little tedious but it's something :/. (Sorry for my English, I'm from Costa Rica and I speak spanish).

You have to keep the remote control off until you use it again. Any time you need to use the remote control, you have to turn it off with this method again.
Got my Fold 3 a few days ago. Got is setup and plugged it into my truc,k and my Android Auto unit reads "No Device'". My Note 10 works fine but not my new phone. My headunit is a Jensen (like I said, worked fined with my Note 10). The Fold3 works find in my Nissan (Pioneer head unit) and my Edge (factory Ford Sync).

I am no expert here, but when I had a similar issue. I believe it is because I transferred everything from my prior phone to the new one. I got the same error when trying to pair my phone with wireless Android Auto in my Kia K5. My solution was to goto Google Play Services and clear the cache there. For some reason that allowed my phone to be found by my reciever. and worked. I didn't experince this with my new ZF3 but I did when I got my Note 20 Ultra last year. So try clearing the cache in Google Play Services.
Hey so try clearing the cache in the Google Play Services app. This worked for me when I had a similar issue with my Kia K5 going from Note 9 to Note 20 Ultra. I got the same error no device. This was going to a wireless head unit for AA. I finally figureout how to clear the cache in the Google Play Services app. Then went back to connect and it worked. Try this. It may work for the ZF3. Thankfully I did not have the same issue going from the Note 20 Ultra to ZF3. But this is what I would have done.
Thanks, man. I did that and to no avail. My phone is still not being recognized by my truck. When I press "Android Auto" on my head unit, I still get the message "No Device"
I'd flip cables for sure. Then I'd go to your setting when plugged in and make sure it's not set to charge only on the phone. Should be adjustable from the notification on charging.
I've having some weird issues with android auto and my fold 3. I've noticed when connected to android auto I often loose cellular data and it switches from 5g/lte/edge and no service. If I disable android auto the phone operates normally. Anyone else seeing anything similar.
Just a thought for OP. Did you happen to try opening Android Auto app in phone and checking to see if truck is an added vehicle and add if not?
The cable seems the most viable option. There is no option to select or deselect charging only, and Android Auto is no longer separate app. It is built into the OS and automatically opens when the phone is plugged into a headunit and there are no options to manipulate. The pain is that the dash has be pulled out to change the cable so I'll have to research a certified cable.
Did you buy chance to to settings > advance settings > then use Android auto there? Not sure if a setting in that will help. When I open it it wantsto attempt to connect to vehicle

When I go there, I get the button to connect to a car, but when I plug the cable in, nothing happens and the head unti still displays no device. I'm thinking that I'm going to have to remove the dash and change the cable.

Ah well unfortunately don't no more than that, just knew I saw an android auto option in there. My car doesn't support wireless and haven't tried the wired part yet to see
Well, removed the dash and head unit and changed the cable. I tried a Belkin USB-C certifed cable and even the known working cable from my other truck, and got the same thing.
On the phone I get the notification to stop my truck and apply the parking brake to continue and on the head unit I still get the notice of "no device" when I press the screen for Android Auto. At this point, I'm hoping I don't have to change my head unit to get this setup to work.
Weird mine worked just fine.
Did you make sure everything was updated
Yeah. I called Jensen they say it's a phone problem, Samsung says it's a Jensen problem
Got an email from Jensen customer service. My HU uses a bypass to allow certain functions while my truck is moving. I installed the HU myself and also installed the bypass. Jensen engineers found that I need to disconnect the parking brake wire from the bypass and connect it to chassis ground. I did that and was able to connect. I'm so happy to be able to use my phone in my truck.
