1. If you can go to recovery, wipe and reflash the ROM by following procedure given by developer.
2. If that does not work, flash Philz recovery, wipe/factory reset --> wipe cache partition --> wipe dalvik --> and flash the ROM.
3. Should be good to go.
4. Hope you have made EFS backup.
Press thumps up if you found my suggestions helpful.

Not sure what you're describing as your problem but I'd first flash the newest clockwork mod version 6.0.1.0.

Ok I think what you're asking is how to install a rom in recovery? Depending on how fresh you want your install, you can wipe data. But then you want to wipe cache (change selection with volume keys and select with power button) and wipe dalvik (under advanced) then select install rom from sd and select the Rom you downloaded .

Hi everybody
This is my first post & thread .I'd like to thank all the developers .I'm trying to install the Revolution ROM & I managed to download the rom but failed to download super wipe for it !! I'd like to download the super wipe if link avail.
Thanx :good::highfive:
BTW I forgot to mention that my device is rooted ,shall I unroot it ?
Nobody can answer me :crying:
Here u are: http://www.sendspace.com/file/nzyx1n
Hit thanks if it helped!:good:
So what about rooting or unrooting ?
why unroot
You have to be rooted and have CWM recovery to flash a custom rom mate.
For wiping:
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Data/factory reset
Format system and cache in mounts and storage.
Skip all the other wipes (also in Aroma installer)
He said he's rooted

Have you made a nandroid backup in CWM?
If so you can reboot back into recovery by long pressing the power button + volume up and home button and then restore your backup

I don't use CWM, I use TWRP, but if there isn't an option to restore from that menu, then you probably don't have a backup.
You sure you're using the right version of the kernel? and you wiped cache and dalvik after flashing the new rom?

I haven't used the redpill kernel, I'm actually an lte version, but check if there are Samsung and Aosp based versions of the kernel. And if so are you using the right one.
Download the aosp redpill. Push it to phone via adb. Then flash it and do a factory reset.

Redpill kernel isn't yet compatible with newer cm based roms because it doesn't have Mali r3p1 driver support yet.

If you have a nand backup just restore it. Else just dirty flash the rom you are using.( without any wipes in recovery)

One more thing. There is an inbuilt file manager in TWRP recovery. You can use it to restore build.prop and set permissions.

Hi,
After i made some modifications in build.prop (screen is broken so it trigger my back and menu all the times so i tried to enable softkey), my phone is stuck in bootloop on the samsung logo.
I tried to reflash my rom (omnirom) thinking that it would solve my problem formatting /system but no luck, still bootloop.
I tried using twrp file manager to restore the copy of build.prop i maded, i try to retsore permission but still no luck and bootloop.
I could use any help on this,
Thx all
I tried to flash the S.E.A.L rom and black hawk kernel. I ended up getting a flickering color screen that's blurry and a shaky screen. Did I do something wrong this time or is the V4 rom still buggy?? Please help me thanks

Thank you very much brother! Wiping my tab and installing each zip individually worked! Did a full wipe and delvik wipe than install the sealV4 zip. Than did both cache wipes, and installed the kernel and worked like a charm. You rock!
