I got galaxy s4 mini SGH 1257 locked to at&t wanna get it rooted tried with different softwares but none of them worked software I tried with to root .
Towl roo, vroot,Kongo root ,framroot, can someone help me with its possible to root ,
Software version : 4.4.2
Model : I257 network at&t

Note that it is an i not a 1.
It seems that for the SGH-i257M [the Canadian edition] there is no root process available, at least not yet
Phone I got is i257 different model from I257m

Hey there friends,
~ To begin, I just purchased my Galaxy Note 2, From Wind , in Canada, *( Model: SGH-T889V )
and I would like to root this device, yet I am a noob when it comes to android & rooting.
I have read of a user Bricking this model when flashing the t-mobile toolkit and is unable to find stock firmware to restore and such.
~ Would anyone kindly help me out with rooting this model?

But I think that it's locked to Telenor, can I still root it?

So my question is that what I need to know before rooting a operator locked phone... Mainly if it's possible, the how I can find out by myself.
I just bought the ATT Note 8.0 LTE SGH i467 and want to root it so I can remove the crap att put on it. Now looking in the root information I see it wants to know whether its an n5100 n5110. I have the ATT Note 8.0 lte which in about tells me its the SGH i467. How do I find the N number for the device? If I read correctly from the root toolkit here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251033.
Can someone point me to the correct root procedure for this device. I have looked through these forums and am coming up blank.

I don't think anyone has found a way to root the i467 yet. The N5120 is the international note 8 with lte, but I'm not sure if selecting the 5120 in the toolkit will work for your i467.

Seems that it is slow to see some developements from developpers... Is it because it still too much a new product?
Hello i have a samsung s3 i747m 4.1.1from bell that i bought from a store in canada , the phone has been unsimlocked without rooting so i can use it with my carrier .my question can i upgrade it the normal way to 4.1.2 without loosin the unsimlock ?i dont want to loose the ability to use it with the carriers i want since i mleft canada and i might move to another country 2 or 3 time , thx
My s4 mini was unlocked from AT&T and is now on T-Mobile whenever i go to use the dial pad ut drops the carrier and i have to manually search for the carrier again. Is this a common issue with this model? Is there a safestrap and custim rom for this model?
