Hello i have a samsung s3 i747m 4.1.1from bell that i bought from a store in canada , the phone has been unsimlocked without rooting so i can use it with my carrier .my question can i upgrade it the normal way to 4.1.2 without loosin the unsimlock ?i dont want to loose the ability to use it with the carriers i want since i mleft canada and i might move to another country 2 or 3 time , thx

Towl roo, vroot,Kongo root ,framroot, can someone help me with its possible to root ,

Note that it is an i not a 1.
It seems that for the SGH-i257M [the Canadian edition] there is no root process available, at least not yet

I want to update my SGH-I257M To official kitkat rom , how i can do it.
And i have some bugs my phone somtimes loses network !
I also have SGH-i257M [note it is i not 1 or l]. I am in Canada, Rogers network. For me the network drops ended with the upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 plus another update that came about a month ago. I did not keep track of the date for that latter update and i have seen nothing about it on any of the S4 mini forums. It updated the op sys plus more than 170 Apps. It is kind of mysterious, like i am the only user in the known universe who received it.
Can you use the Kies software to update directly from the Samsung website?
Hi guys,i am the owner of a Galaxy s4 Mini I9195(i don't think i have the Lte option) but i don't know wich update is for 4.4.2 and for this phone.It's bought in Romania and unlocked and the BB is I9195XXUBML4 .My question is,wich stock Rom is for me because software update shows i have up to date firmware?And if i flash it will my phone get locked on that specific carrier again?
You can flash any 4.4.2 firmware with odin
But if i flash any stock Rom from my country with Odin,won't my phone get carrier locked or something?Atm it's unlocked but i'm a bit too scared.
